Absolutely top notch place to stay! Have just spent Easter weekend here with whānau for a family reunion and we found the team at Hanmer Top 10 to be super friendly, accommodating and so hospitable! A great place to stay with the children, friendly, safe and fun environment for families to visit. The go carts were an absolute hit and the playground is amazing! Fantastic clean facilities! Thank you so much team Hanmer! We will see you all soon for another enjoyable stay :)

Awesome place to stay — amazing host.

We have just enjoyed a long weekend with a group of friends to celebrate a 65th bday. Some were in caravans, some in a unit. The camping host staff were extremely welcoming, the sites were clean and mowed. The bathroom facilities were spotless and the new block of bathroom services were top notch with heated floors, marble tiles, double shower heads and a toilet as well. The apartments were fab and modern and the camp was full of people enjoying themselves. Would highly recommend a stay away from home here and would be one of my fave Top 10 to stay in. Go and support the new team who have just taken over the running of this charming facility. We all enjoyed our stay and will go back again. We wish them well in their new venture. This place is amazing the owners are fantastic. So friendly polite we were made very welcome I came here stressed and im so relaxed I would recomend staying here and we will defantlty be back.

One of the best Top 10 parks we've been to. Fantastic service when we arrived with staff letting us know all the local hints and deals with our Top 10 card. Facilities were amazing with UNDERFLOOR heating in the showers! A super quick walk into the village and hot pools. We will be back for sure! 5 star rating for sure!

Friendly staff, very clean and spacious sights for caravans. Also the Wood Fired Hot Tubs are a must.

Amazing place to stay. We stayed in the Executive Spa Pool Suite which was amazing as the pools in Hanmer were closed. Also the view of Lewis Pass was stunning. Great hosts and super clean and modern units. Thanks team.

My family and I have been coming here for several years and we love it. The facilities are clean, comfortable and very well maintained. A very enjoyable stay every time.

We have been coming here for 38 years so are good places to comment on what we have today. Till recently not a lot has changed but now there is good progress been made to improve the facilities. The hot pools are fabulous. The managers look after us very well as very special long staying customers. I will make one comment the trees in the centre of camp mainly silver birches need sorting to let in more sun. A little work has been dun on this issue. Also those fabulous hot pools cause a lot of smoke in the lower part of park. Some people are not happy with this. Still a great place and very happy with your customer interaction.

We stayed in one of the self contained units. Very impressed. Highly recommend. Good sized and clean. Had heat pump and sky. Bed really comfy. Will stay again.

Nice location on the edge of Hanmer township makes for a quiet stay with beautiful views of the surrounding hills & mountains. Beautiful natural brickwork on the exterior & steps leading up to the units — however this would make those units very inaccessible & even makes heavy luggage difficult. Helpful staff, without being pushy. Room was clean & tidy & warm, and bed was comfortable. Although the refrigerator was old & noisy (& warm when we arrived), and the flooring in the kitchen & bathroom was very uncomfortable (to the point of being painful) to walk on in bare feet.

My wife and I stayed here in our caravan. This location is one of the smaller Top 10's in the country, but the facilities are nice enough. Our biggest complaint is that one of the shower/toilet blocks was closed for repairs so every camper got to share the facility near us. As a whole, the campground served its purpose, but it was not the most impressive holiday park we've stayed in.

Last min booking for the last night of school holidays, we went home very happy after a great night sleep in a very comfy bed, perfect room with everything we needed for our family (including sky sport to watch the rugby). Room was very cozy and very warm! Hosts were also very welcoming, And there were no extra costs for our 3 children which was a bonus as alot of places have an extra fee. Nothing at all to fault. We will be back for sure.

Great staff fantastic views could not deal with the pebble board on kitchen and bathroom floor not nice to walk on. Very off putting.

Stayed in a unit with self contained kitchen, bathroom, and 2 separate bedrooms. Smaller than expected but still contained everything you would need during your stay. Would recommend.

What an incredible town, it's definitely set up for the tourists with plenty of places to eat. Our main reason for visiting was to do the jet boat ride and it didn't disappoint, definitely one of the best we've done.

Very comfortable. Didn't like the pebbly floor in the bathroom though.

If you like mountain biking and other outdoor adventure stuff or just lounging in a hot pool it's good.

Came to stay on the weekend for a second time and again amazing! Absolutely love the service communication with the owners and the views will never get old we are going to come back again and again it’s going to be a regular thing! Thanks heaps highly recommend.

Well appointed room. Great service, lady working went above and beyond to help us settle in. Only negative is that the shower pressure/head is rubbish.

We have stayed here a lot. This time round heat pump broken and two bedroom unit cold. Also wheel/leg on bed broken so one of my three children had to sleep with us in other room. Also… One of my kids left her soft toys there (as we left in a hurry because it was cold). We were unsure where they were. I then rang to find out if toys were left behind. They were… Why was I not contacted re toys.? Would have saved a lot of time and heartbreak. Shit time. Shit service.

Busy and pretty expensive! But close to the town center. For us it was worth paying extra and be able to walk to everything. Toilets and showers where good and clean. The kids loved the playground.

Not one of the best top 10. But for 1 night okay.

We had a great stay. Campsite was spacious enough, ground a little hard, bring a hammer for staking. The kitchen was clean and tidy so was the bathrooms. Staff were kind and helpful. The playgrounds were fun! We were just down the street from the famous hot pools and slide park and trailhead along Dog Creek for running, walking and mountain biking just up the street.

It's a really great place to stay been there a few times and love it every time.

Stayed in a motel room. Was great very cosy and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and a great shower.

Good, but god caravan parks are depressing. If you are staying here I'd recommend going for a walk behind the caravan park — lovely bush, fields and even some cherry trees!

Perfect accommodation: spacious and well equipped kitchen, nice terrace. Good location. Only downside: no curtain on 1/2 Windows, result it is daylight at 5:30. And limited Wi-Fi.

Top 10 camping? Nix with top. All pretty worn out. 5 showers for men and 6 toilets. Plus a gutter.
6 sinks. Women don't look any better either.
I thought in Wellington is the scariest. And expensive. We had already had Top10 newer and nicer for under 45, — $

The assistance manager was amazing and sorted out a organizational error. This meant we had to move after setting up but did soften the annoyance with free internet and a free night.

It feels good, 400m from the city centre and thermal baths. Nice, clean, comfortable. Kitchen equipped with plates, microwave, fridge freezer.

Super clean, large, cosy units. Right across the reserve forest. Hosts are very attentive. Recommended.

Great rooms. Excellent service by staff. Helpful and happy. Walking distance to centre of town and spa heated pools. Great recommendation for tea. Thai food; sensational meal for the price. Very cheap.

At >$40 per night I was expecting a LOT more from the facilities, there is NO HOT WATER OR SOAP IN THE TOILETS, even after asking twice during my stay they can't refill the soap dispenser, a small ask I thought. The sites are too small for even a small caravan with awning plus your vehicle to park. It would also be nice if they mowed the lawns to reduce how wet your feet get on the journey to the bathroom. However in my two days here I am yet to witness any maintenance or grounds-keeping whatsoever. I will not be returning.

Aaaw, sadly disappointed. Pillow was hard, very hard. The "pebble" flooring in kitchen and bathroom was uncomfortable underfoot. The service was shoddy and unsatisfactory. However, on the bright side, the views were breathtaking.

One of the best places I've stayed in, get the studio unit that has an ensuite and a kitchenette, it's clean, compact and a cosy living space that I'd love to come again anytime and would definitely recommend to others! :)

Amazing atmosphere, brilliant owners who make the stay all the more inviting. Very romantic set up for a night away. Close to all that you need in Hanmer.

Items that were left behind in the kitchen from departing campers (the idea is to benefit other staying campers if they needed a little bit of salt or cooking oil) were mostly taken by the staff for their personal used at home, as I watched them took the box full of items and loaded into their own car parked outside of the camp ground. Dumping point is located next to toilet building wall. To dump waste, you either have to drive ridiculously close to the wall or you need a decently long pipe, not to mention if you stopped your vehicle there for dumping, you also blocked the whole road. The kitchen only has fix installed appliances, ZERO cooking utensils can be found in there, not even paper towel or cloth to clean up the mess (there are 2 baking trays inside the oven and 3 brushes for cleaning).

If you want amazing service and a nice spacey room. I highly recommend this place. Money was well worth it and they even give you cute bottles of milk for tea and coffee.

We arrived yesterday and have had one night (of three) in the park. It's a beautiful place, great handy location, everything is on your doorstep including some amazing mountain biking trails to suit all abilities. The park has beautifully clean facilities and everything you need is right here. Very generous sized camping sites. It has a great feel and we will certainly be back. Can't believe we've not found his place sooner. We love Top 10 parks, always friendly always helpful. Keep doing what you're doing Hanmer Springs Top 10!

Absolutely excellent. Hosts made the stay. Great facilities clean and well appointed. Stayed one night 7 people two units. Everyone felt that Scenic View was value for money and we were made so welcome.

Our family (Mum, Dad and 3 boys) have stayed here at Top Ten Hanmer every year and will always do so. The facilities are wonderful for our family and we've enjoyed watching the park develop over the past couple of years. Seeing the rooms and facilities be renovated over time has been great and we cannot wait to see the park continue to grow. We have always found the staff excellent and so friendly. We've found pricing very competitive for what Top Ten Hanmer offer. We're creating some wonderful family memories staying here. Thanks Top Ten Hanmer.

Brilliant place and easy to book in. Could do with more free Wi-Fi. Scenery worth looking at.

Very disappointed with my stay here. It cost as much as the top 10 camping grounds in Te Anau and Fox Glacier which were 5star and the facilities here were no way near as nice & in serious need of updating. Washing was majorly over priced costing us $32 to wash and dry 3 loads of washing, it cost us $8 in Queenstown to do just as much in half the time. Very bad start to our Hamner Springs visit.

Great park. Lovely set up. Amenities were all there that we needed. Plenty of space to BBQ and have a look. It was great they were so close to Hanmer springs pools as we went two days and loved that. We also had washing and used TV room and thought it was a well established business that they kept the upkeep well. We stayed two nights. Great place.

The second time I've stayed. Very very clean & tidy.

Ridiculously expensive for a campsite — $86 per night for 2 adults, 2 small children.

We stayed here on Tourism Radio's recommendation. We can say that we've checked our the competition and this is definitely the better holiday park. We stay in a campervan so we need a nice powered site close to the kitchen and showers since we only use then. We stayed here for two nights on two different sites. The first night we stayed in the back end of the park, some of it is gravel and it's not completely level. On the second day we ask to be moved to an inner site closer to the facilities; it improved our stay by plenty. The showers are roomy with a constant hit water pressure, by the door's top bar is at the same height as me (~180cm) and I kept bumping by head on it. Not very pleasant. The kitchen is okay and standard. It doesn't have any free kitchen utensils and its a shame they don't have any gas stoves, only electrical ones. (It's too easy to under/over cook your food in the electrical stove).

Shocking experience with Hanmer Top 10 Holiday Park, had to cancel due to unforeseen things, had a motorhome park space booked, would have been empty anyway as not peak season, still charged FULL RATE — that was just about $180 — shocking, would rather park on side of road than go near this place.
