Great Place to stay, highly recommend. We book out all 6 Motel units every year in November. Kim the Owner is very friendly and always goes out of her way to make sure that we are well looked after (nothing is ever a problem). The units.

Have stayed there several times over the years and always found the units to be excellent. Kim the owner operator always friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again.

Norfolk Motet & Campervan Park is an ideal park on your way from or to Cape Reinga. It is a small but clean park with all the facilities you need for a night like power, warm shower and dump stations. You can use the kitchen or eat in the nearest village of Kaitaia.

This is by far the best place to stay in the north. It is super clean, well priced and the staff are so friendly always making your stay more enjoyable. The pool and facilities are awesome. 10/10

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Kim is so easy to deal with and is full of wonderful ideas to do around the area. I have since been up multiple times and will keep going back, Kim remembers me every time and no matter how busy she is she stops to catch up. Fab place to stay if you are travelling through Northland. Kim (runs the show) is amazing, she gave us tips of travelling and local things to do and was so helpful in getting us settled in. Highly recommend.

Once stayed for a camping spot and once stayed in a motel unit. Clean and tidy. Sufficient space for two. Shower is a bit small but all good. Swimming pool, and play ground for kids.

Right from the get go, the customer service couldnt be better, staff suggested local hotspots and things to do. I was amazed with the cleanliness of the room. There is a playground, plenty of space for outdoor games and the pool was as clear as a pool can get. Fantastic place and fantastic people.

Wow wow wow… seriously impressed with this fantastic place. From the moment we arrived, down the impressive driveway, where the motel and campervan site sits well seated back from the road and screened by beautiful hedging and native plants, we were warmly greeted by Kim. Her smile, knowledge and warm welcome were much appreciated after a long drive. We booked in and booked a tour at the same time. Her knowledge of the area and local amenities is extensive, enabling us to find precisely what we needed. The swimming pool was a welcome sight after a long drive and was used immediately. The facilities are excellent and well maintained. The only sad part was we wished we had more time to spend here, definitely recommend a visit. Thankyou for the pleasant and memorable stay.

Host was nice and ok facilities on site, from what we observed. However there was no hot water when we woke for a shower at 7:30. Wi-Fi was not avalible with out a code (which you had to pay for extra). Me and my wife shared a family hut and only uses the ok bed.

Clean, well equipped, easy to find and close to main attractions. Reasonable pricing and excellent staff.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful place for several months in between homes and we can't say enough about how fantastic the owner/manager is. It was a home away from home with cleanliness, friendliness and just out right comfortableness. We have recommended the Norfolk to friends, family and acquaintances and anyone looking for a great place to stay. We are very grateful to the owner for keeping the happy campers happy even when the obnoxious campers came a calling, and we found it hard to believe that some people just couldn't find it in themselves to enjoy their stay. Highly recommended and "we did enjoy our stay" :-)

Well all up it cost $40 for two plus they charged $5 for my 16mth old which I thought was not right as she never used any of the facilities there um there's no play area for kids no trampolines no swing and slide set for families to enjoy there stay with kids it's boring really and there Wi-Fi isn't strong enough if they work and getting these things that will bring more people there wil look more inviting.

Great place to stay when exploring the Far North, the owner was absolutely wonderful (we arrived when there was a widespread powercut which was luckily fixed just before we came back from our day trip to Cape Reinga) and a total delight to deal with, the amenities were clean and well kept, would gladly stay again!

Really nice place to stay.

The staff is really friend and helpful. She has recommend us a few place to eat and buy. The shared bathroom and toliet are clean and well managed. If you happen to go there in a rainy day, just be careful the outside is flooded and wet.

We booked in to charge our electric cars. They were very friendly and helpful. We paid the full day rate so we could use all the amenities while we charged our cars. As Kaitaia doesn't have a fast charger yet (at time of writing) this is an important link for EVs with smaller batteries (Nissan LEAF, Hyundai Ioniq, BMW i3) who want to travel further north to visit Cape Reinga. The toilets are clean. There are showers and Wi-Fi. There are some nice cafes a short walk down the road.

We felt comfy there. Nice small and quiet camping spot. Very clean mixed bathrooms and toilets. No hair dryer. Superfriendly staff! Washing mashine and dryer. Wifi a bit short, you have to go near to the house to get a connection. Didn't mind. Everything you need nearby. Café over the street and gas station within 2 minutes.

Great for work purposes too-corporate self contained and central to supermarket, petrol station, cafe, 20mins drive to mangonui health & fitness centre!

Clean and nice room and very friendly staff, they even managed to book us a table in the best restaurant around.

With my husband we visited the far north and stayed at the Norfolk Motel. We found our room clean and fresh and met our needs very well, a delightful place to stay. We found the owner to be most helpful.

Good motel, nice ladies own and run, I just didn't like checkout at 10am. Sometimes I like to oversleep and have slow nice day. For the price they are charging, they should make checkout around 12pm.
