Review of Plateau Lodge 3*

Absolutely terrible service. Would NEVER go back and have warned all my friends and NZ camping pages I am a part of to steer clear. My daughter had an accident in their spa this week — loose headrest and required stitches — the owners absolutely took no responsibility for their part in this. That’s ok — worksafe have been contacted. The husband Zeus is an absolute head-case — he was just awful on so many levels — horrible, aggressive and rude. How they even manage to keep their doors open when this is how they treat people is beyond me. I implore you to read all the reviews especially their Facebook reviews before considering staying here — the reviews confirm my experience of horrid and aggressive behaviour. If you place value on good customer service as I do then don’t bother booking here! If I could give them a negative star rating out of 5 they would be getting a — 5 for my overall experience. Shame on them for their poor attitude about their faulty spa — I only hope it doesn’t happen to another poor kid or family. The owners will likely try say some rubbish that they went over and beyond for me as they told me they had done because they had shown me how to use a complicated gas oven I wasn’t familiar with — ok then. Would have thought that’s just part of your job running a business! Get a clue. I was in shock at your crappy attitude on the day but rest assured I am not a woman or mother who mucks around — hope worksafe sort you out. Your doors should be closed with your stinking attitudes and behaviour. Atrocious.
