Great place to stay. Location is awesome.

The bath is amazing the sea views are awesome just feeling very relaxed and grateful right now.

Couldn’t get the heat pump to work so went to reception she gave me batteries for the remote I couldn’t get it open so I took the remote to reception she put the batteries in went back to my room still wouldn’t work so I tried to ring reception and the phone didnt work so had to walk back down a 3rd time. Bit disappointed for what I payed I had to run around with my daughter trying to get the heat pump going and had to use my cellphone to order room service because the room phone didn’t work. Apart from that it was a very comfortable room.

Choice hotel group standard. Totally clean bathroom n toilets seem like newly renovated. Close proximity to the seaside by marine parade.

Nice clean room in great location. Bathtub is awesome but shower was rubbish and hard to adjust water temp. Ate at Drift for breakfast which was pretty nice. Nice friendly staff.

Great reception at front desk rooms are excellent fresh and well serviced great restaurant very pleasant staff a great stay.

Clean and tidy. Service when we arrived very average. Husband went to say we had arrived and was told they usually want the person who had booked to go in and say we had arrived. We were also not told about the courtesy paper. We had the same lack of courtesy on leaving from the same person husband encountered on arrival. He never got asked if we enjoyed our stay etc. A common courtesy if you want return business. The heated pool was tepid to cold. This was one of the draw cards for us was to have the heated pool! Would we recommend or stay there again … probably not.

Staff at counter need to learn nice ppl skills… apart from that & being a great regular I always found them to accomadate me & my job n tuck me in a corner discreet unit I use to stay 2 weeks at a time n they discounted me by only ever charging me $100 a night… then I go read in paper they kick all work girls out now! …

Great hotel. Rooms have an outdoor deck so you can get some fresh air without needing to leave the building (like you do in many other hotels) and the overall experience was great. Staff are friendly, my only issue would be with the restaurant downstairs as their service hours were different than what was printed on their menu booklet in the room. Overall though, it was a lovely and relaxing experience right on Marine Parade so everything was nearby and easy to get to.

Wish we never stayed, only booked for the hot seasonal pool as stated, the pools barley warm, too cold to swim, the kids were upset as looking forwards to swimming. Black mould in bathroom, cockroaches in room in the evening, uncomfortable beds, the shower/bath was hard to get warm, either cold or hot. Alful stay. Not recommended.

Great location, good customer service upon arriving in reception, thank u Glynas for providing us with the room of our choice. Spa was just awesome. Our son enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed our 2 days of stay, looking forward for our next trip to Napier in quality inn again.

Absolutely wonderful! A true haven after the Capital View Motel in Wellington. We are very pleased with the facilities and also with the staff. It is right across from the beach. Access to the beach is only a short distance away.

Friendly staff. Nice outlook. Wheel chair access. Have not stayed for a meal, so cannot comment on the menu. Modern decor.

Our experience here was ridiculous… we paid $178 for 1 night. We couldnt park on the premises. We had to park accross the road in a 120 hour parking area luckily we didnt get a ticket since it was a weekend. People yelling down the corridor and over balconies at 4 a. M (granted I know this isnt the staff so wasnt overly bothered) then NO hot water coming out of the shower only to be told by the front desk that there wouldve been hot water but there would be a trick to getting it out… so its our fault we couldnt get hot water!? If theres a trick to it tell the people staying there! As opossed to blaming the people staying in there for not knowing how. Absolutely shocking. NEVER staying again. That angry about my stay that im writing this 10 minutes after my experience.

Absolutely beautiful. Staff are exceptional. Food was mouth watering. Toiletries supplied were very yummy my hair turned into silk and soaps n body wash was just as luxurious, towels were super soft and luxurious. Sheets were pure white and crisp. Gorgeous beds. Separate dark face cloth was put out with make up embroidered on for make up removal. Put where it can be seen and used. If I could give ten stars I would. Thank you Quality Inn for a brilliant relaxing stay.

Great location, especially if travelling with children as there's a playground and bike park, along with the beach right across the street. The rooms are fine, nothing super fancy but clean enough. Having a pool on site is nice. The little interaction we had with hotel staff was pleasant. Wish there was more parking, and that the parking lot had a bit more room to navigate. It's a solid 3.5 star place in my opinion.

My whanau and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here 13-15 October 2017 we booked a sea view room had everything we needed and more.
Can't wait to come back again. Loved the beachfront it caters to the whole whanau from the bay skate park basketball hoops ice cream shop water fountains to swim in beautiful artwork sculptures gardens art deco soundshell with live music mini golf aquatics spa aquarium museum theatre gallery so much more perfect location.

Fantastic Room. Great central location. Service was the best i've experienced, and we often stay Novotel and Hyatt. Also the restaurant was amazing. If I could give more stars I would.

Booked the motel for 3 nights during the school holidays. Excellent location on marine parade opposite the beach and close to the national aquarium, kids play areas and good restaurants and cafes. Got a Seaview balcony studio room with a queen and single bed. Rates $152/night. Comfy bed but pillows were soft. Newly renovated bathroom. Very helpful service from hotel staff.

Great location exceptionally quiet hotel with exceptional staff. 15 minutes after we checked out I had an email letting me know my wife had left two items in the closet. Had time to go and pick them up before heading to the airport. Quality of breakfast was a bit suspect for the price. Food was unremarkable and in the case of the pancakes cold despite several request for fresh warm pancakes.

Great location but a bit worn.

Simple rooms but tough to beat the location. It's an easy walk to good food and downtown is fantastic! The pedestrian walk across the way was good for a morning run too. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Handy location walking distance to reach all the tourist attractions in Napier city. Reasonable cost for long or short holiday. Spacious and modernized rooms with cooking facilities. Heat pump for winter and summer. Approachable and friendly staffs.

The service from reception and bistro were great!
However the down fall for us was the state of the room — the shower wasn't cleaned very well there was black mold/dirt in the cracks of the tiles that we were able to run off. The shelves where the cups and Bowles were kept had a large layer of dust.
We had small children visit us who spilt a drink on our duvet cover so this needed to be replaced when this wasn't done we put a call to reception to get a new one — the house keeper came up and gave us a new one and talked to us very rudely and with a disgusting attitude — very unprofessional and made us feel like we were being a bother which led us to not bother getting our room serviced the following day. We stayed 6 nights! And we had ring to request our room to be vacuumed!. Very disappointed.

Always happy here a can of soda from room service was $7 tho which was a let down.

Room size was good and especially large bed. Friendly staff although paying by cash surprised them.

Very nice property with a great Bistro. Very tidy and comfortable. The shower is a bit anemic, and struggles with any temperature between very hot and very cold. Persevere!

I wouldn't even give it one star if I had an option. Noisy, unclean AND the item I left in my room was not handed in to lost property by the cleaner — it just went missing and was never returned. I had to chase them up — nobody called me back, no apologies, no proposed remedy to the situation and blatantly rude, dismissive and unprofessional. Do not stay here. Spend an extra few dollars and go to Te Pania or the Anchorage.

Wifi hopeless. Did not work at all. The receptionist knew about the deficiency but the hoarding outside still said free Wi-Fi.

Not the best experience: carpet, cups and spoons could be clearer and recipients could be more attentive. Wi-Fi ended after 20mb consumed, not 100 as advertised. My mark is 3/5.

What a pile of poo, never ever again, stained towels un-ironed bed linen.
