We feel, as per reading a lot of reviews on other booking sites that the way these rooms are advertised to customers vs what they actually are is VERY different. For starters, the room we stayed in was advertised as a executive suite and let me tell you, there was nothing executive about it at all. All furnishings are extremely outdated and dirty. Bed was very uncomfortable and worn out. Our first impressions was very underwhelming. Big stain on our carpet, hair in our bedding, dust everywhere. Secondly, the resort and towers are two separate properties and thus rooms should be labelled this way when booking. We thought for the amount we paid for one night we would be staying in the towers but no we was just down from the reception area in what seems like a 2 star motor inn or what is the “resort” area. We complained on arrival of the quality and was only offered a full refund as they was fully booked. Unfortunately there was no other accommodation available in the area or we would have left straight away. We thought most hotels these days would hold credit card/debit card details to charge if damage to room etc but this hotel still takes bond of $200-300 off visa debit card holders and takes 2 working days to refund. Reception had one staff on during check in time of 2pm meaning it was very rushed and long wait. Wifi service was poor and of course there’s the option to pay for better. I’m sorry but that’s a low punch considering we paid $250 for one nights stay. There’s notices all over the place that seem very rude advising of extra charges for almost anything other then your most basic room amenities. Pool towels are an additional $1 per towel. Why offer a pool/spa to your guests then also bank on towel use? Lose your key? Boom, $50. “Be quiet, security sleeping? ” I’m sorry what?. Hallway had a foul body odour from house cleaning staff the next morning at check out. They can’t even supply little shampoos or toiletries for guests, just a soap dispenser on the shower wall with mixed hair/body soap like a hospital or cheap backpackers. I strongly suggest you look at the way you advertise this stay to customers and not use photos of the towers when that’s not what they are getting at all. Change the wording of “executive suite” to “Resort Standard room”. Wouldn’t recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a truely 4 star stay. Great for backpackers or families on a budget.
