Worst experience ever, writing a review as no one has bothered to respond to my email from JULY! Unfriendly service from the get go, because I had a debit card rather than credit card I was asked to pay a bond of $100, I paid for the room upfront instead $199… Walk in to room DISGUSTING, FILTHY! A used plaster on the ground, mascara stains on the pillowcase, food crumbs all over the broken tiled kitchen floor, food splatters on wall, clearly not cleaned at all except beds were made. The socks of the previous guest were there, a shower cap over the smoke alarm and a dirty I cleaned bathroom. Back to reception… I very calmly explained the situation almost embarrassed and asked to be changed to a new room. She glared at me and began typing, no sorry, no response for atleast 3 minutes AWKWARD, looks at me and says I’m trying to find you something. She gets us an identical room one floor below, still no apology… I am greeted with another horribly unclean room but not as bad as the last, we ducked it up and stayed, it was now after 8pmWhen checking out the next day, I again explain the previous nights events to another employee, she explains that they are very busy and because guests keep checking in early on arrival and the late on departure they don’t have time to clean the rooms properly! What! I arrived the night before at 7.40pm with my husband and son. No apologies, no shame, no offer of reduced rate or even a complimentary drink, nothing! I then find out this is where the Covid-19 quarantine guests are staying. I will never stay at or promote this hotel or its chain. I am still waiting for a response from anyone…
