Train your staff well enough so that they go around making fun of customers in front of everyone. Simple question "have you loaded the points on my premier rewards card? ". Response I get, "Go and talk to premier rewards team". Absolutely inappropriate behavior from the spin the wheel staff as we spend a lot of money at he casino and this is the type of behavior you get from staff especially on New year's day. Also reported to the manger timed 7.45pm on 01/01/2020. Hope this is resolved.

Central location makes it extremely easy to get to from almost anywhere, especially airport transfers.
While exploring the city, you won’t get lost either.
Otherwise it’s a well appointed hotel with friendly concierge and great dining.

Always enjoy the service and entertainment provided! There are plenty of food and discounts. 5 dollars meal is my favorite!

The poker room could be run better. I go there on friday or saturday nights and there is always about 30 people waiting for a table for hours. It has always been like this and they never add more dealers to open more tables during peak times, yet I see plenty of attendants on the floor standing around doing nothing really. It is a shame because it is probably the reason the poker community here will never grow, because people (myself included) don't want to come for a 1.5-2hour wait time to get a seat to play poker.

Staff yell at punters, manager saw it, does not give a tinkers cuss! Worst casino In NZ by a long shot!

We just enjoy their latest snow globe which are Family friendly, they have a variety of restaurant inside the sky city with reasonable price.

Thanks to all staff who are always friendly SkyCity is always a pleasure to visit. Each time as if it's the first time. Thanks a lot SkyCity Management for keeping your staff happy and making them feel important and cared for.

Good experience, lovely room, nice and quiet, walking distance to everything.
Little disappointed in the room only one small soap, nothing in the shower and no shower cap for my wife.
Unusual for a place like this, only very minor otherwise happy.

Oh boy I love this place. I have been to a few casinos around the world and this one is among the cleanest, well managed and well lit. I like playing black jack, roulette and slot machines and they have all these at Sky City. Have won a few times and lost most of the other times so I would say that the "Casino always wins". They have a few eateries around the casino but Andy's burger inside the casino stays open for long after 1 am. There are luxury dining options as well but they are outside of the casino. Its all about giving you a holistic experience and Sky City delivers that.

After a great first night with no issues and a wonderful time. The second night turned into a bit of a nightmare. I won a small sum of cash and was alone. On exit, I noted there was no security persons, a person who was waiting above the escalators on his phone, followed me down and on reflection, his friends had scoped me at the roulette table. I watched in the reflected surface of the escalators as he drew closer and then I pretended to walk to the concierge. Luckily I was staying in the hotel, as this person exited the building but positioned himself to watch me through the glass enter the lift, all still on his phone. Just keep an eye on yourselves out there.

A fun experience for the whole family. We were there at night. For kids it's probably more exciting to go during daylight hours as you would definitely see more. We enjoyed eating an ice-cream at the top.

I am writing this letter to express my heartiest compliments to your staff member Sally who was manning the elevator from the 51st floor to the top on Saturday the 22nd of July. She is such a friendly professional person and just makes everyone smile with her welcoming warmth. Amazing person. You should be proud to have her as part of your team. Thank you Sally! I look forward to coming to visit you again.

We had a great time in the snow globe the children absolutely loved it and we have great photos for memories. Then we went up the tower for the Dino activities not as good as I thought it might be but the children enjoyed the view. Also thanks to the staff guiding us on and off the elevators.
For lunch we went to Andy's and with 5 kids all wanting their burgers with sauce, no sauce, no cheese, no pickles our waitress was very patient. The Persian burger was delicious. The kids loved the ice cream and it was a great deal. All in all a great day.

We visit Andy's burger regularly for lunch with my sister and mother inlaw, my husband & daughter, today we were there for lunch and my sister in-law ordered a beef, bacon, cheese, burger with aioli and was asked no bbq sauce. Well she was given a burger with bbq sauce and no aioli, she asked the waitress to take it back and scrape off the bbq sauce and put aioli instead, the waitress returned with the burger with no sauce on it, the waitress was called back because there's no aioli on the burger she took it back and returned with the aioli sauce on the side but not on the burger. My sister in-law went to pay the bill and she still have to pay the full price for her burger that was going back n forwards… the rest of our meals were not as nice as it used to be… don't think will be going back after today.

Sky city is great place to meet up or hang out, even if you're not interested in the casino there are great places you eat and have a few drinks.

Vibrant place. Expensive but is expected for the service. Staff are smiling and polite most of the time. Casino is a friendly experience with a comforting atmosphere. Restaurants are premium quality. Overall a very entertaining experience.

Been a few times to various restaurants in the complex. Food & service has always been good but so good as to be worth the premium prices.

Friendly staff at the tables, even the security guards smile. Great choice of restaurants, from fine dining to Asian street food and burgers. Something to suit all budgets all in one central location.

The observation deck was really nice, fantastic view and can get a good view around Auckland city. Fair price but still could be cheaper.

The service I received was the worst I have ever had I think complaining is a waste of my time due to the size of skycity nobody body is important unless you have a platinum card.

A Good place to spend time and enjoy also. Play at the Casino. Dine and wine at the restaurant. Vacation time enjoyment.

Great views of the city. Watched a few people jumping off the top of the tower (strapped onto something obviously). Not a bad priced event.

Visited with friend's nice restaurant and enjoyed a flutter at the casino before going to the movies.

Get your gamble on & have a fantastic meal too. Friend hosted us in the VIP lounge & it was a treat. Fantastic views & some very tasty food. Excellent service & immaculate facilities. They made a regular schlub feel like a VIP. Parking was no problem.

Great central location for Auckland City, plenty to do among the bars and restaurants, as well as the casino floor which is a big draw.

It's definitely a nice and awesome place. I had been to skycity almost daily in d evening time during my vacations to newzealand. I like the place very much. The christmas time and new year's eve was great here. A huge gathering was there during new year eve as if rhe whole city has come to greet the musicians and enjoy the eve with dear ones. People were dancing like anything and cheering the crowd. Even roads were full of people and couples. Great, colorful fireworks after 12. I would definitely like to go to skycity again and agàin.

A Real Dump in desperate need of updating, ancient tech, old gaming, dull live action, might seem good if you've never seen a decent casino, but it's like walking around a Vegas casino in 1982, Good point is you'll never feel overdressed, most punters are in shorts and jandals, … Keep your eye on the croupies, many don't seem to know what they're doing… Lame.

Hi, it was totally amazing and jam-packed on New Years 2018! We enjoyed the beautiful blessings of fireworks display which was free to watch from wherever you were… And I thought of my wonderful family, our strength, and delight in, a new beginning.

Auckland is proud of its tower, which is the opposite to the skyline of this flay city. You go up with a very quick elevator directly to the 51 floor. A spectacular view unfold before you. You can go to a higher floor. Olso do the Skywalk or go down by snapling. We went down with the elevator… You can buy a photo of yourself in a huge axpensive cost. We didnt… One of the Must do in Auckland.

Ok to visit occasionally. Live tables are normally crowded. Good music.

Quite a place for hangout and trying luck with different games and slots. And to have chill out drinks with fun. Casino is quite happening.

My husband and I love this place. They have great service, lots of food choices and a romantic place for a date.

We had an excellent experience both staying and playing in SkyCity. Our three night stay was very comfortable. Above and beyond service came from Aiden and the others at the concierge desk. We really enjoyed all of the restaurants both inside and just across the street from the hotel. The location is central and it was easy to get everywhere we needed to go. The rooms were very comfortable and well updated. We also visit the top of the tower and enjoyed breathtaking views of Auckland. We even had good luck in the casino! It was small, but well laid out. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Auckland.

Clean, great choices of restaurants and bars near by. Gift store downstairs. Car Park is interesting to navigate but as long as you remember which elevators you came up from, you'll be fine. They have machines to find you're car if you ever get lost. Actually, may be find your car first before you pay your ticket.

The hotel was nice and clean but for the price we paid it wasn't that special. The location was great and the service really helpful, but the casino makes it really loud and busy and I don't think we'd stay again.

Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice tiled showers. Decor was very nice inside the rooms and outside.

Booked here at short notice and was treated like I was a 5star guest. Fantastic room and very friendly staff. Great choice from the menu for breakfast in bed and they even threw in valet parking with the booking as well as a late checkout.

We stayed two nights… this was our first time and we loved the way you were treated… very professional staff. Beautiful rooms… quick room service… comfy bed. Wonderful shower… we are definatly going back… well worth the money… oh and casino was fantastic.

It's not that it sucks, but they are offering $12 of value for a $28 price. How is a good view of the city worth $28? You'll be entertained looking out the windows of the top observation floors for 10-15 minutes. I'd just check out pictures that other people took and skip it.

I love going up the Sky tower when I visit Auckland each year and the views are amazing including the food at the sky lounge cafe is very nice and yummy.

Quite a good tower I livie quite a bit away from hete in masterton I wished I lived clozer.

SkyCity, our move experience at the SkyCity Theatre last night surpassed 'disappointing' when we attended the world premiere of Fantail, together with a wheelchair-bound friend. Due to the fact that you have no decent disabled seating — or 'parking' — our seat allocation was automatically in the front row. In fact, we were seated in FRONT of the front row, so we were already at a disadvantage. While one of us was lucky to get a cushioned seat on one side of the allocated wheelchair space, the other was given a wooden chair of sorts. For an able-bodied person to slouch down and make the best of a bad situation — albeit on a kitchen-style chair — is a possibility, but for our companion who already faces physical challenges, the arrangement is sub-standard. Perhaps less money spent on pokey machines, and more on providing adequate facilities for our disabled counterparts who have every right to enjoy a movie experience in as much physical comfort as possible.

It is a very fun thing to do in Auckland and a great place to bring visiting relatives but it loses appeal after one visit. There is never anything new going on and therefore gets dull quickly. The staff were incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. Also, that glass floor is AMAZING.
