The location is great as its super close to city center, rooms are a bit congested but I feel that's the vibe of the city maybe.

This was a great stay. ClinkCoco is cute and cozy, and its location in the city isn’t bad (about 15 min walk to Museumplein, and tram stops right outside).

Really good price-location relation! Super clean :) I booked a private room with my family and everything was good. The staff was nice.

Reasonably priced stay in very good location, in the historic centre. They let us check in earlier. Rooms were clean. Shower was open and the floor got wet but nothing terrible to live with.

My recent stay at the (Hotel the veteran) was excellent; the staff was exceptionally friendly and the service was attentive.

I used to hesitate to book when read many bad reviews here, but my experience at the hotel was very good, very friendly staff, room is not big but comfortable with windows and private bathroom.

I was impressed. Given bad reviews, I took the risk because it was the cheapest we could ever find. It was right in the heart of Amsterdam, situated in a touristy place and restaurants around.

The location is perfect as it is right in the city centre and most of the tourist spot is walkable distance.

I have stayed here 3 or 4 times now. And always had a positive experience. The rooms are spacious and kept clean. There are lockers in every room for security.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Bee Hostel! The place is clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The room was cozy, and everything from the bathroom to the shower area was always very clean.

My wife and I stayed at The Bee Hostel and had a very pleasant experience. It’s well located, close to the city center and easy to get around.

Overall a really nice place to stay. The cubes are comfy and cozy.

It was my first time in a hostel and my experience went above and beyond my expectations! First of all it was was really easy to get there since there is a tram station only some steps away!

So I planned a solo trip to Amsterdam in Dec 2025 and stayed in this hostel for 4 nights. I booked a 9 female dorm room which was little compact but well maintained.

Had a lovely experience the staff very helpful the chef was very good.

Pleasantly surprised by this hostel, nice atmosphere, standard rooms and very nice buffet food. Lovely people and a nice green area outside to play. Opposite a stables which is nice too.

This hostel is located in a wonderful area right next to an entrance of the Vondelpark.

I stayed at StayOkay Hostel for 8 days and it was good. I liked the location very much.

I stayed in the Dam-Zaandam Hostel. 10min on the train to the city and 10min walk from train station, very straight forward to find. It’s in a good location, shops nearby and restaurants.

Clean, comfortable, modern, and better than expected! The hostel was tidy and had a really nice vibe overall.

I had an amazing stay at Via Amsterdam Hotel! This was my first time staying here, and the experience was excellent overall.

We loved our stay here! I mostly chose this hostel because of its close proximity to the Amsterdam City Centre.

Stayed here with 3 friends, we had a 4 bed room between us. Everything was great. Really good vibe, friendly staff.

I would say for a hostel it's really packed up, but for the price and location it's one of the best. You may need ti climb the bunkbed if you get the upper side.
For two or three nights, it's awesome.

A lovely hostel/hotel in downtown Rotterdam. Only a short walk from Rotterdam Centraal station. I stayed in one of the pods. It was warm, comfortable and clean.

Hostel Cooldocks in Rotterdam is seriously underrated. The hostel is clean, well organised, and has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Weeks/Days before my stay I contacted them multiple times through various platforms, it was a challenge to get a hold of them. But once I finally heard from them, they were very helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel for two days. The staff were extremely cooperative, friendly, and always greeted us with a smiling face, which made the stay even more pleasant.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The Hyve Hotel. It exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, it is the best room you can get in Amsterdam for this price.

Super price overall, and easy to get to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, with decent array of shops nearby. Easy to get into Amsterdam on the tram as well.

Very very good location, just around the "new" red light district. Staff is helpful and the shared rooms are surprisingly good. Showers and toilets were clean.

Okay for some, but not suitable if you prefer cleanliness and a calm environment.
Durty Nellys Inn is located very close to the city center, but my overall experience was mixed.

The flying pig was a wonderful experience, the main benefit is that it is at walkable distance from the railway station and bus station. Just follow the map to reach the hostel.

Brilliant! My 5 year old was ecstatic with the experience of sleeping in such a fantastic vintage train carriage — and with views of the station to boot. The staff were extremely kind and easy going.
