Great hostel, close to the center, with a helpful and very nice staff.

Stayed in this hostel for my solo trip. It was an amazing experience, the room and toilet were always clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay here! I mostly chose this hostel because of its close proximity to the Amsterdam City Centre.

Stayed here with 3 friends, we had a 4 bed room between us. Everything was great. Really good vibe, friendly staff.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Bee Hostel! The place is clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The room was cozy, and everything from the bathroom to the shower area was always very clean.

My wife and I stayed at The Bee Hostel and had a very pleasant experience. It’s well located, close to the city center and easy to get around.

The flying pig was a wonderful experience, the main benefit is that it is at walkable distance from the railway station and bus station. Just follow the map to reach the hostel.

Weeks/Days before my stay I contacted them multiple times through various platforms, it was a challenge to get a hold of them. But once I finally heard from them, they were very helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel for two days. The staff were extremely cooperative, friendly, and always greeted us with a smiling face, which made the stay even more pleasant.

Very very good location, just around the "new" red light district. Staff is helpful and the shared rooms are surprisingly good. Showers and toilets were clean.

Okay for some, but not suitable if you prefer cleanliness and a calm environment.
Durty Nellys Inn is located very close to the city center, but my overall experience was mixed.

Overall a really nice place to stay. The cubes are comfy and cozy.

Great place, clean, simple and cheap. I stayed in a 5 person dorm room with only one other person. Was very comfortable but spartan.

It's a pretty nice and good Hostel. Friendly stuff, comfortable rooms n bed, clean shower etc. Outside area and so on. A bit Outside of the centre and silence at night. Different promotions every day.

Had a lovely experience the staff very helpful the chef was very good.

Pleasantly surprised by this hostel, nice atmosphere, standard rooms and very nice buffet food. Lovely people and a nice green area outside to play. Opposite a stables which is nice too.

This hostel is located in a wonderful area right next to an entrance of the Vondelpark.

I stayed at StayOkay Hostel for 8 days and it was good. I liked the location very much.

I stayed in the Dam-Zaandam Hostel. 10min on the train to the city and 10min walk from train station, very straight forward to find. It’s in a good location, shops nearby and restaurants.

Clean, comfortable, modern, and better than expected! The hostel was tidy and had a really nice vibe overall.

My all time old favourite since long. Not because it's doing everytging but because everything is there what you need.

Stayed here in 2016 and again in 2026 — both times the place has been wonderful. Staff has always been pleasant and helpful.

It’s a great place to stay. There is a lake and a forest to relax. It is no big deal to reach the center, approx. 6 stops via tram which is near the Hostel. I chose female room to be more comfortable.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The Hyve Hotel. It exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, it is the best room you can get in Amsterdam for this price.

Super price overall, and easy to get to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, with decent array of shops nearby. Easy to get into Amsterdam on the tram as well.

It was my first time in Amsterdam and my first stay in a hostel, so I was a little nervous at first, but the moment we arrived, it honestly felt like a home away from home.

Reasonably priced stay in very good location, in the historic centre. They let us check in earlier. Rooms were clean. Shower was open and the floor got wet but nothing terrible to live with.

The location is great as its super close to city center, rooms are a bit congested but I feel that's the vibe of the city maybe.

This was a great stay. ClinkCoco is cute and cozy, and its location in the city isn’t bad (about 15 min walk to Museumplein, and tram stops right outside).

Very kind and attentive staff, good service and amazing cat. Rooms are decent; though the beds are stiff and there was some very minor debris in the sheets. Great location in the city.

Rooms were clean, but the beds are a lil cramped and the light in the bathroom never stays on. Other than that, it was a good stay! Staff are super kind and helpful as well.

Brilliant! My 5 year old was ecstatic with the experience of sleeping in such a fantastic vintage train carriage — and with views of the station to boot. The staff were extremely kind and easy going.

I used to hesitate to book when read many bad reviews here, but my experience at the hotel was very good, very friendly staff, room is not big but comfortable with windows and private bathroom.

I was impressed. Given bad reviews, I took the risk because it was the cheapest we could ever find. It was right in the heart of Amsterdam, situated in a touristy place and restaurants around.

I spent several months here while looking for housing and mainly thanks to everybody at the reception it felt like a temporary home here ♥️the bunk beds are very comfy and its easy to get sleep even

Good value, delivered on the fundamentals. Bed was clean and privatish and didn't smell weird, we had a little charger and a light in our double pod which was nice.
