Cheap Hotels in Rotterdam

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from a station and a supermarket. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.

Very convenient hotel. Suitable for everyone. Just 1 stop to the city center via train. We would stay here if we come to Amsterdam again. Good breakfast. Lovely staff💕 Fast service.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Bee Hostel! The place is clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The room was cozy, and everything from the bathroom to the shower area was always very clean.

My wife and I stayed at The Bee Hostel and had a very pleasant experience. It’s well located, close to the city center and easy to get around.

Weeks/Days before my stay I contacted them multiple times through various platforms, it was a challenge to get a hold of them. But once I finally heard from them, they were very helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel for two days. The staff were extremely cooperative, friendly, and always greeted us with a smiling face, which made the stay even more pleasant.

Very very good location, just around the "new" red light district. Staff is helpful and the shared rooms are surprisingly good. Showers and toilets were clean.

Okay for some, but not suitable if you prefer cleanliness and a calm environment.
Durty Nellys Inn is located very close to the city center, but my overall experience was mixed.

I stayed in the Dam-Zaandam Hostel. 10min on the train to the city and 10min walk from train station, very straight forward to find. It’s in a good location, shops nearby and restaurants.

Stayed here in 2016 and again in 2026 — both times the place has been wonderful. Staff has always been pleasant and helpful.

It’s a great place to stay. There is a lake and a forest to relax. It is no big deal to reach the center, approx. 6 stops via tram which is near the Hostel. I chose female room to be more comfortable.

The hotel is very clean. Rooms are small but very comfortable. 20 mins away by car from Amsterdam. Staff was very polite and helpful.

This is an option to stay at Zaandam as the hotel next to the train station is expensive. You need to take bus number 111 to reach this hotel and walk about 50 meters from bus stop.

Quiet boat;youd never think your in the centre of amsterdam. Reallh quiet. Dont try and stay here if you have mobility problems.

Very kind and attentive staff, good service and amazing cat. Rooms are decent; though the beds are stiff and there was some very minor debris in the sheets. Great location in the city.

Rooms were clean, but the beds are a lil cramped and the light in the bathroom never stays on. Other than that, it was a good stay! Staff are super kind and helpful as well.

Cool place, I stayed at that hostel for 2 days in a 3 beds room. Well located at De Pipj’s district where you can explore their market nearby.

Nice place. Location is good, well connected to Amsterdam centraal (20 minutes by bus). Purmerend itself is also a nice place. Overall good service and great price as well.

Perfect location, budget friendly accomodation, nice and friendly staff. I really enjoyed our stay here, the deck sunset view, breakfast, other guest was also friendly and respect quite time.

Absolutely great in terms of Location!
The Staff os friendly and the ambient and the view in our case was marvelous.
Regarding the price the rooms are very fair and the breakfast is absolutely solid.

Only worth if you are paying under 30€ since the bf is included. Rooms are quite small and so are the toilets. Definitely not for claustrophobic 🥴

I would say for a hostel it's really packed up, but for the price and location it's one of the best. You may need ti climb the bunkbed if you get the upper side.
For two or three nights, it's awesome.
