My husband and I had a lockdown wedding ceremony and was gifted an over night stay as a little lockdown honeymoon.
The corona rules are posted at the enterence and as a precaution, my husband and I wore a facemask when entering. The staff was very friendly upon entering and also wearing masks with a safe check-in in area. The receptionist was very informative with the check-in in and hotel process. We had a duin view and it was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to the sea. Very friendly neighborhood and beautiful area.
The room was clean with enough room for two. The shower/bath with double vanity was very roomy, and also very clean. The decoration gave summer beach house vibes and I really appreciated the immediate shoe/coat rack by the door so sand doesn't get everywhere.
The toilet was separate, also roomy. Dinner was safely delivered to our room in a warming box. Enough to feed a family of four. Same with breakfast. Easy, simple, and safe! I highly recommend booking this hotel if anyone needs a different view. A stay-cation where you can easily follow the rules, but able to relax by the sea for peace of mind.
It's okay to forget corona is going on. Just for a day, do it by the sea.

Super location very close to the beach. Reception very friendly and helpful. Room service very friendly. Breakfast in the restaurant versatile and very nice service. Dinner in the restaurant delicious and very nice unobtrusive service. We will be happy to be back soon!

Beautifully designed room with clean, spacious bathroom. Small terrace with chairs. A couch would be nice. Especially the breakfast is worth mentioning. However, I do not understand the additional parking fee.

I am so disappointed! I wanted to go back and to book "The Bicycle Package "for July and the recptionniste made a mistake charging me 187 PER NIGHT PER PERSON! instead of 2 NIGHTS as advirtised! So I pointed out the mistake! and someone called "NAAM" from the reception answered : "The price is € 182, — per room, per night for 1 person. When you find a cheaper price on internet, you can book it on internet". on my mail : " I think you make a mistake again! ok for € ​182 as it is written167! BUT NOT " per night for 1 person" as you wrote! THE PACKAGE is for: 2 overnights stays including breakfast buffet •2 x 3-course diner •1 day bike rental •Free bicycle packet including a roadmap and a cycling route •Free Wi-Fi in the room •Free Nespresso in the room •Free parking •Free use of indoor swimming pool •Free use of indoor and outdoor fitness Het fietsarrangement bestaat uit: •2 overnachtingen inclusief uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet; •2 x een 3-gangen diner in restaurant 'bij Jules'; •1 dag fietshuur; •Gratis fietspakket met onder andere een FIKS routekaart, een fietsroute en brochure met fietscafés.

Excellent location, comfort and service. Vicinity to the beaches and convenience store 400m away open 7d/week are a plus. Great breakfast buffet, nice dinner menu. Bikes rental, also for electric bikes. The Junior suites are ideal for a family stay.

Nice hotel close to the beach over the dunes, friendly staff. Eco friendly property, tasty food for breakfast and dinner. Good for biking and walking. Concerning the amenities, one would probably think about more comfort at a hotel with this star category (very small sauna, mini swimming pool, dirty fitness, no slippers or bathrobe in the room…)

If I only evaluated the ESSEN, the situation and the staff, it would even be 6 stars. I find the rooms that are far too small impossible. If you are afraid of space, a toilet walk will be difficult. Bathroom just as tiny and no good lighting. Cleanliness top.

My wife and I spent the last weekend of February at Golden Tulip. The rooms are sufficiently large, very clean and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and helpful! They speak Dutch, German, English and French. You can choose between two restaurant options. We had chosen the "normal" restaurant, which we have not regretted! The portions are normally large and priced even within a reasonable reasonable framework. Breakfast is very rich! Conclusion: We will be happy to come back!

Eerste indruk was er een van een afgeleefd hotel. Maar eenmaal binnen valt alles in zijn plooi. Het ecologisch concept wordt zoveel mogelijk doorgetrokken. Het eten is met zoveel mogelijk bio-ingredienten en van lokale boeren. Ook met zorg bereid en een ruime keuze. Zeer rustig gelegen in de duinen. Vriendelijk personeel.

Nice hotel, all comfort, spacious room and coffee machine in the room, just a flat, tiny pool and sauna a little small considering the number of rooms available, perfect buffet breakfast, lots of choice and fresh, bikes available, really perfect.

The wellness area consists of a pool where children learn to swim and a sauna next to the toilets. It smelled all the urine.
The whole hotel smelled of stale water. Breakfast was never enough at any time. Replenishment was rare. It was a disaster stay!

The room was small but clean. The bathroom was very nice and the breakfast was good.

We were four in the family suite and my brother and I had to sleep in the couch quite unpleasant but otherwise apart from the pool I find the rest very well with even the possibility to rent bikes.

4-Star Aging hotel.
Very small pool, maximum for 11 people. Sauna of 2 persons.
Rooms in photo on the site do not fit the reality. Noisy, very little soundproof, squeaky doors, miniature WC.
They don't speak French.
Apart from that, the location is good and the breakfast buffet is very copious, the rooms are clean and the bedding is good.

Very nice hotel with extremely nice personal. Rooms are cleaned up every day, you have your own Caffè machine and your own fridge in your room, there's a restaurant in the hotel and the best of all: you are 5 minutes away from the see!

We felt very comfortable. Excellent food. Right in front of the dune.

Very expensive quality level price. At the restaurant, we choose a piece of meat in a dish accompanied by a cream mushroom sauce, we expect to have a good piece of beef, instead, we are brought a small piece of chicken with 3x 1/2 mushroom and all that for €19, it is expensive the dish. On the other hand, the breakfast is quite complete even if the quality of the products is not at the top. Very small room, clean but no frills. At €170 a night for 2, it's very expensive. In short, we will probably not go back. Damage.

Breakfast is extensive and the rooms clean. With extra bed for the toddler somewhat cramped, but for a short trip quite sufficient. The proximity to the beach is great!

Very nice hotel right on the beach with delicious breakfast and dinner. The only stupid thing was the beds. It was not described as a large box-spring bed But two single small mattress on an even smaller pedestal. At each turn, the mattresses have migrated. Since we were only 2 nights there it was still but longer I would not be able to sleep there.

Beautiful location, great staff and modern rooms.

Breakfast was excellent. Very respectful and friendly workers especially restaurant workers. Rooms are farely okay, toilet stinks a little coming from the riol (underground) The strand (duin) is an ecceptional beuty of nature, wonderful sight, makes you reflect on the wonder of God. It's a beautiful place to visit once in a while. God is good!

The food was good, but the room is too small. The toilets are not for people over 1.90 m and the beds came apart. The Cocktails were overpriced and mini sizes. The swimming area was apparently reserved in the morning for children and to extend the announced Option on Sundays until the afternoon, there wasn't. Too bad for the price we would have expected more.

Nice Hotel, the location of the hotel close to the beach is great. Good Breakfast since there is nothing to complain about. We had a nice, large room with a shower and a separate toilet and a balcony in the East wing. Staff is very nice.

Nice place with two bars on the beach, but they close relatively early. Would not recommend it for young people that much the night life.

From the noise of the various tag up to two times the fire alarm in the middle of the night, everything was working at our former visit to… recovery looks definitely different!

Nice clean rooms, good location.

Room too small, no wardrobe just a shelf, no fridge in the EC room drinks had to be cooled in the sink, a Restaurant, too inflexible and too expensive, staff preferred friendly (ONLY to use Dutch to speak without effort one of the well-known languages such as English), Dutch guests were definitely preferred. The Hotel has a great location, however, is too expensive for what it has to offer. On the North sea, there are better alternatives.

Great location. Nice staff… but it is very small and narrow room with very weak equipment. Really zero space! Price / performance is not true here.

Hotel is well located, in the middle of the dunes, in a quiet, yet near the beach. Spacious room, lovely shower, great bedding, walk in shower, nespresso machine… only downside, the view from our room on the roof of the restaurant, but not serious, as it was beautiful, we didn't go on the terrace of the room! Reception staff, bar and restaurant very friendly and knowledgeable! Breakfast very varied and excellent, the restaurant is very good for a lunch, but for dinner, not enough choices, a bit expensive, as well as the wine! But we would return gladly, it would be just in another restaurant in the evening!

The Hotel is located directly behind the dunes. The corresponding beach is, as are the beach restaurants, very nice. The ladies at the reception are polite. The rooms have a style of their own, but are absolutely fine, the bathroom is modern. The dinner was absolutely top! But also has its price. The Breakfast is, in my view, absolutely ok, tasty and sufficient. You can sit very nice on the outside.

Its a really nice and fantastic experience of staying in the hotel. Hotel staff is really helpful and adorable. Very nice to know surrounding and about beach location. Restaurant arrangement and Food awesome. Really liked the place. Beautiful place.
