Ensure the TV works even at weekends and let the chef fry eggs to meet people's requirements — salted for instance (this happens even in hotels in Africa). I will not be staying there anymore.

Public transportation is not that convenient but exist. For the price I expected to have at least a tooth brush, they didn't have it till the next day! And didn't clean the room when requested it!

The Wi-Fi connection was in and out, the shower water temperature was not constant. The hotel is clean, quiet, right off the highway. The staff was nice.

As photo's suggest the hotel should have been revised and more luxurious. But we had a small, dirty old room instead. I made pictures to show. But we will not be visiting that hotel again soon, the dirt kind of got us off guard.

The room could have been cleaner and the breakfast a little bit better. The hotel is an old building which was renovated but still you can see and feel the basics.

We found in our room a compete toenail. This was very awkward. We also had to ask the staff twice to make our safe available and our phone was not working. The hotel is far away from everything. Kind of loud inside and not very well aged. The breakfast was mediocre. We will not go there again.

The room was clean and modern decorated. The staff very friendly and accommodating. In addition, the hotel is very well located to reach Amsterdam by train. I can only recommend the hotel.

It's a disaster. Staff are generally rude and impolite. Sound of maintance that starts in morning really gets in your head. And if those arent enough to hurt your holiday travel, the fire alarm misdiagnosed in someones room a woke up the whole hotel at 3 a. M. Never going back there again.

All IMPECC, just to teach the reception staff to be friendly.

Modern rooms, great facilities.

Good value for money. Parking is free. In good condition.

Solid Hotel. Rooms are good and spacious. The breakfast offers plenty of choice as well as the dinner. Only priced a little high.

I chose it because it looked so close to center and easy to access but turns out it is a rather further located small town. The hotels bar closes at 11.30pm (even on Saturdays), which was a bit disappointing : (the rooms are clean but some dusty places. The room was too cold, the radiator didn't get warm until the early morning. If your choice is a very quiet, by the roadside, sleep and go facility, then this is the one :)

Much was already in the other reviews, which I do not repeat.
But important new.
For writing here, which would also explain why some other guests report missing items from the room.
Problem: The door closure (System with card key) does not work most of the times. Seemingly never been waited since the installation.
The opening does not work properly, forever fiddling with, but lock is not released, press down to the latch… until after some time I had to find out that it did not work, because the door was not locked properly and the system did not lock. And what is not, is not locked, can not be unlocked and opened.
When I stepped out of frustration that the door did not come up, with the foot down just outside the door (like shining Tibia) … there was the door open.
Then I had to find out that the door could always be opened like this, so don't use a card key anymore.
Also the neighbouring doors of our tour group, where there were problems opening, I could help with this delicate "shin kick" to open.
Attention, as seen no safety, defacto the doors are permanently open.

And? Did I report it to the hotel management? No.
Why not?
Because of the problematic communication, which was also written in other reviews.
My English is not enough to describe the problem. In theory, the staff is friendly, but wants to communicate permanently in English (whether Hotel handicap?

Very good overall a bit out of hand but for the good price.

Not recommended, in itself the hotel and restaurant are good, I do not recommend it because things disappear from the room. And it is not absolutely acceptable.

Nice rooms but poor cleaning good breakfast but the dinners were inedible.

My mom and my stepdad went to Amsterdam last September/October and they were in this Hotel. They forgot a purse with gifts bought in the city on the room and even after sending an email asking them to send it to Italy (for FREE, because we said we would pay the shipping costs), we were ignored and we never got an answer. Then we tried to call them, but no one solved the problem. The hotel is not bad, but the lack of communication is huge and we were disappointed that we lost the souvenirs bought with so much love for friends and family. A professional hotel mustn't treat this costumers this way.

Comfortable room, well secured and clean hotel in 20min from the center of Amsterdam I recommend.

The rooms facing the interior are quieter than those on the highway side.

This is is a hotel of the Bastion Hotel Chain. It is situated on the western edge of Almere City, next to the nort west busy ring road. It is a medium standard hotel not overly luxurious, but most things are available in the hotel. A large parking place is convenient owned by the hotel. Rooms have enough space. The Hotel has its cheap rooms at the beginning and end of the corridor on each floor. The reason is that in the rooms at the beginning of the corridor there is more noise of the door leading to the corridor opening and closing and the rooms at the end are colder as they are on the eastern outer wall of the hotel. Besides that the rooms are poorly maintained. The windows do not fit properly thereby letting in a lot of cold air. The air filters are possibly never cleaned. See pictures.

I am from Scotland and was staying here for 3 nights while working in Almere! Very nice and friendly staff.

In general, everything is fine, but I write a review after we were not warned and did not ask began to drill in the next room at 9am, which caused a sea of negative emotions.

Nice clean normal rooms, good restaurant downstairs. Not much within walking distance in the area.

Restoration not always tip top.

Very nice and clean Hotel. Very Comfortable Beds and a very friendly staff. Just the Breakfast Option for 14 € Each Person / Night is far too expensive. But all in all a very nice-close to Amsterdam — Stay.

Simple Business Hotel, centrally located, clean.

Not bad, for the price… is a nice place to stay after abusing your body all day in Amsterdam… easy to get to … take the train from center Amsterdam like 3 stops to alderan poort or something like that then take the bus, 5 your there… restaurant closes super early and bar was done at 11 … so just come here to sleep … big screen TV and free Wi-Fi and very comfortable beds… there's a sushi restaurant and a gas station 2 minutes from the hotel… I miss the bus and decided to walk… not that far and at the beginning of your day I guess is ok… anyway the hotel in itself is good… no pool… friendly staff and no overcharging bs like resort fees or nothing like that… the website stated that no debit cards were going to be accepted… well I used mine, no problem…

It is okay… The rooms are quite large and the location is good, but the staff is rather unfriendly…

Great hotel for the price it is 20 to 25min from Amsterdam downtown although when we were there just 3 days ago they were doing a big motorway make over and it took us 1 hour. Other than that hotel rooms need a keen eye to dust as I saw loads of dust sitting around. I recommend the place!

Quiet hotel, comfort at the rendezvous, located close to the motorways so perfect when you want to visit several Dutch cities.

Hotel very nice. Food is great staff very nice. But problem is that it is a very long way away from Amsterdam itself. Trains n buses, taxi would be around 50 quid.
