Unacceptable behavior by the hotel
I have Faced a extremly bad experience with the Rembrandtplein hotel, I was planning a trip in September to Amsterdam and I have proceeded to book Check in sep 13, check out Sep 23rd.
5 minutes After I booked, I realized that I could not travel because my Visa was expired. I canceled the booking exactly 5 minutes after I booked it.
The booking was done Through Expedia, and I proceeded to call the hotel directly and sent them an email directly I talked to Mr. Miro and he told me that they did not receive the booking yet and that they will cancel my booking free of charge. He refused to send me an email regarding this issue.
After that I proceeded to Follow up with the hotel on a Daily basis calling them asking for the refund proof, they refused to send me any emails, and after 1 month they charge me in FULL. I expected maybe to be charged 1 Night, but to charge me in Full for a booking that I had explain was canceled before it reached the hotel is not ethical and unprofessional.
I am at shock that a hotel would act this way towards its clients, at least have the decency to charge me 1 night and not the full stay.
Full of rats and the lady at the reception is very rude and un polite.

The manager, TIKO is rude to her costumers, didnt recieved my mom properly, gave a room on a higher floor than asked, 1 month earlier, which were approved (cardiac problems), toilet broken, closet broken so we did not unpaked our sutcases, the door wasnt oppening well, I had to kick the door each time, TV didnt work. Worst place.
