Great hotel, ideal for visiting RAI.

Only here 2 nights for the marathon, very clean and modern. Continental breakfast available for €11. Very nice bar area open 24 hours with snacks.

Great service when checking in and very accommodating when we changed rooms!

Hotel and staff fantastic rooms small but just what we needed. Only negative was the breakfast to many people in such a small space, no orange juice left in both machines, when we asked this was then stocked up in 1 machine, again no glasses or coffee cups again asked and this was provided. I would add some scrambled eggs to the buffet, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, jam & bread can get very boring on a whole not a bad stay.

Has a very good location transportation wise, two metro lines and one tram and more close by. It’s not in the center of the city but you can get there easily. Also very important it also has easy access to the RAI train station where you can get or arrive from the airport, take the Sprinter train. From there you have to walk a short distance through an underpass to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good for the price, has a selection of cold mets and cheeses, fruits and cereal and freshly baked breads. Of course coffee and tea.

Love, love, love this hotel! Very kind staff that always greeted and answered any questions that I had. The spaces in the hotel were great to read and even though the rooms were smaller they felt homely and I had every amenity that I needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay in Amsterdam!

The place is great, clean and staff is super nice. Breakfast is good in my opinion, not a huge choice for a typical american, you are not going to find pancakes waffles or cereal. You will find cold cuts, cheese, danish pastry. Also coffee, milk and juice. The bar and the lobby is perfect to hang out. Rooms have a modern look. The hotel is a walk away from train station or tram stop, so it makes it very easy to move around using public service. You could also walk to the center but its a 20+ min walk depending where you want to go ofcourse. I suggest to get a metro pass or tram pass. Just ask someone to help at the station, since the metro ticket kiosk is not very user friendly.

Absolutely amazing hotel with great place to stay nearby the RAI exhibition center and steps from the railway station and it’s just 20 minutes from the airport. Perfect for business staying and leisure. The hotel One brand is highly recommended everywhere, staff are nice and the design and the furniture, at affordable price. The breakfast was great with lots of choices, the staff come straight to clean after finishing it.

Absolutely amazing. Hotel staff (especially Etienne) was great and helpful. Hotel is about a 25min tram ride away from Dam Square but the tram stop is right outside the hotel making it easy to travel around Amsterdam. All in all an excellent upmarket hotel with wonderful staff.

Clean but small rooms and not even a closet. Practically, suitable for one night.
The location is good for business visits. You will also arrive on foot, about 15 minutes, at the Amsterdam WTC.
The center is not far, but you have to use public transport.
At the bottom, the quality/cost ratio is acceptable.

Very good hotel for a stay in Amsterdam! Very contemporary, very clean room! Very good breakfast! And the Grand Plus tram line N 4 The ticket has €3 to go downtown 15mn about and parking for the car paying €20 for 24h just in front Amsterdam Rai… perfect So.

There is a negative point in the situation. It takes about 15 minutes by tram to the centre.

I’m really impressed. I booked here looking for something inexpensive and base on some other reviews was expecting very little. I found it to be very comfortable and the lobby are was great for working. Breakfast was nice and the service was good as well. There are decent repair ant options a short walk away or a pizzeria next door.

Great reception room and lounge bar, comprehensive staff multilanguage and friendly and also enjoyable.
Just the bad surprised a mistake with another 2 letter client ready the same last name. Well, it's a jerk when you get the card from 2:00 in the morning, go to your room and wake up a guy who's already there and sleeping.
Good the duvets is the same I like to have a big quilt, and as these are air-conditioned radiator and not electric despite that I set the thermostat to 30 and close the curtain. Well, we didn't get any hotter.
In conclusion good value for money, but… Take a warm duvet with or else ask the reception for an addition to the duvet. And knock before entering.

Beautiful hotel, just across the street from the RAI. It's quite new. The lounge is warm and welcoming. The rooms, as in all Motel One Hotels, are a bit small, just as the bathroom. The room and bathroom are clean. The bed is good and there is a big TV. Breakfast is very good. The parking garage is very affordable. Parking in Amsterdam is very expensive. So leave your car at the hotel, when you're visiting the city.

For one to two nights ok. Very clean and very comfortable bed. I just lacked a wardrobe. There are only two small shelves.
The location is great. With Metro at the door you are in the city in 15 minutes.

As usual, we were again satisfied with the Motel One. We didn't think two things were so good here. Once, the wall was very covered with dust when the air conditioner was leverted out in our room. There hasn't been a purger in a long time. The other is that breakfast seating is quite limited.

Very friendly staff and super nice rooms! Everything is nice clean and the beds are also comfortable. Unfortunately a little far to the city centre when in the evening the tram no longer drives but everything else is great!

Located very out of the center, it has very small rooms but the service is great and efficient.

By and large, good and clean. But if you look more closely, you will always find something. Light stains on the wallpaper at the air conditioning and in the bathroom at the deduction. Otherwise just like a motel should be.

The place is awesome, it's beautiful and warm. The location is a bit far from the centre of Amsterdam, but with the train system it has no further complication.

The hotel itself is very good, modern clean comfortable beds… The problem is that they put a very small quilt to cover you, that does not even cover the surface of the bed. The minimum you move you get uncovered. The next day I complained at reception and was told it was the normal measure but they would try to fix it. When I returned to the room I was still the same quilt. They didn't change it.

Suggested 100%. Very nice rooms and facilities, beautiful lounge, great staff. Metro station 2-3 minutes away to bring you in a quarter to centre or to the airport. Possible to rent a bicycle as well.

Fantastic — I cannot say enough great things about the hotel, especially the staff. I wish I had gotten the names of those who helped us during our 4 day stay because they were excellent! Friendliest staff I have ever encountered from the beginning to the end. Clean hotel with a great bar and lounge area. Bike rentals were reasonable and it was close to the subway as well as street cars. Amsterdam has been our favourite city so far and I attribute much of that to our experience at hotel motel one :)

This hotel feels and looks much more expensive than what one pays for a night. I am so happy that we stayed here on our holidays. The rooms are very smartly design. Comfortable beds, pillows, shower, HVAC. The lounge ares is also very hip, young and trendy. Is just some minutes walk from the tram that will take you to the city center. The staff is very lovely and helpful. I appreciate when a business knows how to provide client service. The only observation that I will make is that your breakfast was lovely, but very "german style" I was expecting to get some dutch breakfast options, since we were in Amsterdam. But nonetheless well done Motel One. I will try to always book with you guys on my next trips.

Affordable, good standing both on the establishment as on the rooms, a bar in the lobby and a nice staff.

On my first night I was put in a room that strongly smelled of fresh paint, which gave me a headache, but I was moved to a new, upgraded room as soon as I complained about it. Nice, cozy and clean rooms. They have more of a 'continental breakfast' buffet, so if you love English breakfast that will keep you full for long, this is not where you'll find it. Overall, would stay there again, good value for money and very good customer service!

One of the best small rooms I've ever seen. Friendly staff and has a lovely garden. Location is just good: there's a supermarket nearby and a metro, train and bus stops but no bars, pubs, restaurants, attractions… The rooms are a bit too thinly separated.

Cozy but away from the center, it is close to the train and Metro station. After about ten stops of the Metro you arrive in the center of Amsterdam. The only flaw is that there is not much around.

Wonderful hotel. Your regular motel one experience but the front desk adds a personal touch like giving you map of Amsterdam and local restaurants suggestions.

Hotel is really clean and nice. Staff are polite and welcoming. Ideal location for tram into central which is about 20mins. Minor issues are the bed didn't have a duvet that fitted. We had a queen size bed with a single duvet but when asked for another blanket we got one straight away. The revolving door doesn't work so have to push and it is quite heavy, only 1 lift working during the weekend and a work conference for Siemens so was about 5/10 mins to wait or walk down 8 flights of stairs.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Staff are lovely, there's a tram right outside that takes you into the city centre. Cheap price for a gorgeous hotel, will 100% be staying here again.

A unique experience above our expectations.

Location is great! 5 minutes walk to the Amsterdam RAI train/metro station, tram 4 closer to the hotel that takes passengers to the City Center/Amsterdam Central train station for 20 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was friendly, bar and communal area was great both inside and outside. The rooms were good. Just personally to me the kettle, cups and little tea/coffee bags were missing (apparently they are missing from all of the rooms. ). But would recommend to stay and the area itself was nice and quite and the tram/bus stop was 2mins away with Tram 4 having frequent departures.

The hotel itself is exactly what you expect when booking at motel one: clean, stylish little rooms, nice bathroom and all the things you're used to.
But when it comes to breakfast, you'd have to go for an unusual time to go as an leisure guest. From 8:30 until the very end at 10 am, it seemed like every single guest wanted to have breakfast at the same time. Just a few impressions: it took us about 10-15 minutes to get a table to sit at; there wasn't fruit at any time in the given time period; most of the guests had to use bowls for coffee due to the lack of cups; at some point there weren't even rolls or bread left for you to put your nice dutch gouda on.
I suggest going early in order to avoid all the other guests. And I would recommend that the hotel management thinks of a system that allows every guest to eat breakfast and sit while doing this.

The hotel is well connected with tram and metro. Check in was a breeze and the hotel room was big enough for two people. The inside ambience of the hotel is fantastic. No Minibar in our room and would have preferred at least a water kettle but otherwise everything else was fantastic!

Clean hotel, very tasty breakfast, modern furnishings. Tram station very close, and the tram runs directly to the Centraal as well as through the main tourist roads, takes a short 20 minutes.

What a lovely gem close to the RAI. Helpful staff, clean with some eclectic touches. Like the fake fireplace! Nice breakfast if somewhat steep at €9.50! But it was good and tasty. Lovely comfy sofas and chairs in the lobby. The room was compact but well appointed. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower! Lovely shower but could be more powerful! Great view from my window overlooking the road and highway but no sound intrusion from the full height, full width window! Would definitely come back.

Great hotel, best value for money. The staff are very nice. However, the car park with 18 €/night is very expensive. Better to use something outside a P + R option.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, clean toilets, clean carpets, neat room, nice beds and comfortable pillows and quilts. However, a bit cold, not sure if there are heaters, I was kind of cold all the time. The Wi-Fi was great, and a bus station just right outside, and a subway/tram station 5-10 minutes walk.

It's a fantastic choice because it offers so much for an affordable price. The design is great and everything there is made out of good taste. The employees are friendly.

Very chic and clean, as you know from motel one. The breakfast is different from the German. Very large selection of bread and rolls. Nice variety of sausage and cheese. Cereals, fresh toppings, fruit salad, eggs, … Very very good! The bar also leaves nothing to be desired. Happy again!

Experience has been great. Rooms are very spacious and very well designed. Staff are friendly and are very knowledgeable about the area and downtown Amsterdam. The hotel is located on a major tram which is about 15 minutes to the city centre with trains running every 5-10 minutes, so you'll never miss one. Highly recommended!

A 25-30 from the center by tram but compensates with the price compared to more central hotels. I recommend taking the pass for public transport for as long as you are in Amsterdam as it is amortized with growth.

It is secluded from the center but well-connected, very basic but this new as it is recently built.

New hotel, has a more modern technology and panoramic Windows in the floor, so the rest is standard in other Motel One. All at the proper level. Transport is very close, there is a grocery store nearby.

Great hotel. The rooms are clean and modern with plenty of space. The bar is 24 hours and the breakfast is pretty decenf for 9 euros. the hotel is well placed just off tram stop 4 so its around 15 stops from. The centre but the trams run all the time until midnight. recommend that you stop at the supermarket before going to town to buy bottled watee though as its 90cents in the supermarket for a big bottle and like 4 euro in town for a small bottle.

Visited here for a personal trip to Amsterdam. It is a very classy place with clean and simple rooms. The rooms don't have fridges or cooking facilities so self catering is a must. There aren't many restraunts near by except for multiple takeaways places which the hotel order for you. Proper restraunts are 30 mins walk away in central Amsterdam. Staff are very friendly and willing to help with any queries. Would defiantly stay here again but be wary of the distance to get to central Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

This new Motel One is direct opposit of the RAI Exhibition Center in Amsterdam. To the Center you need to take a tram or Train, for both the next stations are very near, but the trip to Center needs 15-20min. We stayed here during an exhition at RAI, and the Hotel was fully booked and crowded. But the staff was still friendly in check-in and also during breakfast time. The breakfast is in Lobby aerea, that is not so bad, but during a rush hour, the staff need to run between the Guest to fill up the breakfast buffet. This is a big planing fail, better to fill up breakfast from behind. The Hotel wants to be "green" and also you find much organic / natural / healthy Products for breakfast. Unfortunately nothing warm. The Staff in Bar at the evening was friendly and did a good service. I just reduce one Star, because the Reception didn´t handel a special case for my satisfaction: I booked already last September. I confirmed booking by phone on day of arrival and give my credit Card details for secured booking. Also I recomended that my colleague may arrived earlier than me. I thougt that will be enought to give him a key to checkin Room. Even as he call me, the staff will not talk to me in phone to confirm booking with my Creditcard and give him Keys… When I arrived I complaind an I just get a "i´m so sorry for that" that sounds like memorizes by a trainer…

The most beautiful Motel One, good location! Close to motorway, train and S-Bahn. Tram in front of the door. Park house Hotel. However, also very busy. Rest Motel One Standard (friendly staff, clean and functional rooms, good Breakfast products).

Although the hotel is simple, it has all you need. Good Wi-Fi included!

Stayed here for a little trip. The check-in lady noticed it was my birthday in a few days and gave us drink vouchers. Also once we got soaked in rain and they gave us access to their dryers for our jackets; made us feel really special. Rooms were extremely nice for what we paid. Highly recommend.

The room merited even 5 Star 4 star and the beds and cleanliness. There are still only 3 stars is located at breakfast and the hotel's bar, and free parking.
The price — to-performance ratio is overall good, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the design is good. The location right opposite the 'Amsterdam RAI' exhibition is ideal for trade fair visitors and exhibitors.
Since I am regularly for years some days in Amsterdam I met too many hotels in Amsterdam. The breakfast is rather below average in the motel one. So the variety of the buffet is poor, the quality rather average, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages are missing completely. That is too little for a fair hotel. Who is the all day at the fair and gets something to eat only in the evening again want morning something decent.
Also, the breakfast area is too small. There, it will close at peak times. Enge is also in the underground car park. Parking conditions there for Amsterdam although cheap (€15 per day), but the TG is too small and the parking is very tight. With larger cars has one little chance there under to come.
My final point concerns the bar. This is quite cozy and the staff is on Zack. However, there are only bottled beers. Fresh gezpaftes beer is not to get here. This is although not really bad, but too bad.

Small, fine accommodations, without any bells and whistles at a fair price. Interior high-quality. Wi-Fi works perfectly, access it directly without any queries during the registration process. Rooms have 2 USB Ports to Charge the mobile phones. Breakfast extensive and Lounge invites you to stay a.

It is a bit far from the centre, just 20 minutes by tram or metro, but it compensates with a price much more balanced than the burradas that are asked in the center. The public transport is very close and works very well, so do not worry because it is a little far away. The hotel itself is very modern, very nice and functional. I still miss that has a safe in the room and they would have to expand the breakfast area, because it collapses right away. Otherwise, all was correct: well-soundproofed, quiet, with a TV plasma that you can click a hard drive and see what you like… Repeat.

Motel one always have great service with great staff and good vibes and you know they always hold up to their standard, that's why I choose to stay with them because you know what you'll get for a good price. But this motel one had all that and some more! really genuine heartwarming staff that didn't mind a bit of a small talk and jokes and managed to make my short stay extraordinary. I highly recommend this place with their excellent service!

The Motel One in Amsterdam is a great Hotel to stay in Amsterdam for a few days. The check in went very quickly and the friendly staff showed us to the room, what in the 9. And the last floor was. The view was awesome, even if directly in front of the Hotel a large street was this was barely noticeable, and in the room cannot be heard at all. A direct motorway on-ramp is also possible. The room is a bit chilly, and also by rum, try the air conditioning, it was not warmer. But it was time to endure. Directly next to the Hotel there is a Super market and restaurants where you are comfortable and relaxed can eat anything. (The prices are a bit more expensive) In the Lounge and Lobby, we have in the Evening quite comfortably cocktails drunk, and the atmosphere enjoyed. The nights were very pleasant and all very positive, as well as the cleaning of the room than how you have been traveling. Tomorrow check out came, then, unfortunately, the unpleasant Surprise, the cost of 45 Euro have arisen because we in the house's own garage parked. (15 euros per day), in My opinion, would have the staff at the Check-In already make you aware of this, because it also has seen the we from the direction of the Parking garage.

Better than the cheap hotels around (CitizenM, Qbic), good views and nice restaurants nearby. Only downside is that the bed has two one-person duvets instead of one big one.

Overall really good stay, but the bar was pretty crowded at evening/night and 2 people weren't enough to handle the orders and mix drinks and prepare food at the same time. Probably would have ordered more drinks if service would have been faster. Reception was really nice, except one lady. When we picked up our luggage (group of 8) at the storage room she wasn't able to find 2 our trolleys. Instead of informing us she just went on with business and we had to wait in a crowded reception. When I asked her she honstely asked me where I got those 2 tickets from as they do not belong to any luggage they have in storage. I explained nicely that they were given to us by her colleague that morning and of course belong to our luggage. Then she started to talk in a very aggressive manner to us and I told her to calm down and be nice as we didn't do anything wrong and knew that our luggage was there. Well end of story — we were let into the storage room and of course our luggage was there with the right ticket number. No apologize from her side. Nothing. She didn't even say goodbye. When you work at reception this is not accepatble. Costumer is king and you should be able to apologize.

The window will not open. It was cold in the room even though I have the air conditioning turned off have it the whole night with a chill in the air blown. Conclusion: I had on the flight back home already sore throat, followed it moved from the sinuses — this I have never had! There are deductions for the equipment. Good accessibility from the airport and from the main train station. Not in the centre but just outside the front door of the public transport or you can take the Bicycle from the Hotel. The rooms are very `clear — there is everything what you need. The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and nice.

Hotel was very clean and modern decoration. The lobby is very comfortable and Nice.
The room is clean but a little cold hard to warm up the room, absence telephone to contact the front desk so lack of room service and mini bar. But value for money is exellent. Good continuation.

The best accommodation experience in recent years on the old continent. Love the concept and style. This would be my first choice to book in future unless they is booked out or there is no motel One in the city I travel.

Overall a good hotel, not cheap, but essentially cost-effective. Some quirks, like there is no telephone in the room, the breakfast tables are scattered in the hotel lobby.

I will be brief in my review. The staff of the hotel, a 10, very attentive to our requests and questions, the great and very modern and nice clean hotel and room. The problem is the location, far from the Centre, more than we expected and that went cold in the room.
