Great location, really well equipped apartment, and the staff go up and beyond to be cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area. We were always greeted with a smile and chat.

I absolutely recommend Yays. We had a lovely few days stay in March, very friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for us and a lovely quiet area a short bus ride from central station.

1. Tiny apt as compared to what is shown in the pictures. 2. There is no air conditioning in the building and rooms get very hot in summer. 3. They do not give regular size pillows. All we got were oversized cushions that ruined our nights sleep. Requested for regular pillows but was denied. If for some reason you decide to stay here get your own pillows 4. Also note there is no room service. You are required to clean the dishes, take the trash out and clean the apt before you leave.

Apartments are comfortable and modern. Helpful staff. Convenient location for visitors.

Very friendly staff. We had a few issues with the flat when we first arrived. They were very helpful in resolving the issues.

Just returned from a short stay in these apartments. An excellent experience from start to finish. These apartments are, naturally, warehouse style, furnished with lovely modern furniture and fittings. A short walk to trams, buses etc, but this is a super, relatively tranquil, mainly residential area to stay. Some of the front apartments are fortunate enough to overlook the canal. The staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for us to make the most of our stay. On arrival we were greeted by Audrey, with her lovely cheerful smiling face, as if we were old friends. We spent our time in the central area of Amsterdam, which was great, but unfortunately didn’t get time to explore the local area. We’ll do that next time…

3 stars for a broken sofa bed! My best friend and I wanted to have a great time in Amsterdam in a new hotel. We booked the large room with a canal view. It was simply amazing, so clean, spacious and the reception was so friendly. When it was time for bed and after spending a long day exploring the city you always look forward to get in your comfortable bed. The sofa bed was literally broken and I couldn't sleep at all and we didn't get any sort of compensation. It's a great place but I had a bad experience!

A bit decentralized but functional and comfortable.

I stayed here for my birthday and was blown away by the fantastic service and apartment. We were met by a very friendly Guillermo at reception who gave us lots of inside information and place to go to which are not touristy, we felt we were unlocking the neighbourhood with a lovely personal service along with a neighbourhood guide. The apartment was beautiful, large, comfortable and clean, the beds were heaven. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay at any Yays property. The staff also knew about my birthday and even left me a basket with lovely local products to celebrate my birthday. I will most definitely be booking with them again.

The apartment is excellent, offers a great structure to accommodate very well. We liked the kitchen items, allowed us to have complete freedom to cook. The service of the staff is very good, always very kind and helpful.

Cozy, modern and convenient apartments. Important to notice, that it's warm enough in winter season. Perfect location: near the bus stop, the tram stop and close to Amsterdam Centraal station. Personnel is very helpful and friendly. Also important to notice, that there is now any deposit required. We've spent wonderful 3 night in this apartments and want to thank Yays for the perfect time!

Very nice hotel located in a very quiet area a little away from the city center but access to walk very easy by a shopping street. The staff is present and extremely professional. The apartment is in any point equal to the photos (no unpleasant surprises).

We visited Amsterdam last year and after a long search for a nice place to stay, we chose Yays. We weren't sure what we'd encounter, but we were not disappointed. I booked an apartment with the canal view and this was the first hotel my fiance was in love with. She couldn't stop praising it. The hotel is in an old, 18th century warehouse, which was used for storing and processing salt. The reception staff are very nice offering lots of information about the city and the neighbourhood. The lobby is a mixture of heritage and contemporary design. The apartment itself consisted of a spacious bedroom with a big, built in wardrobe. There are separate toilet and the bathroom. The living room with a kitchen are located on the opposite side of the apartment. There is a kitchen island with bar seats and the kitchen is fully equipped, ready to prepare the meals. The living room is very sunny thanks to floor to ceiling windows. There's nothing like observing a quiet canal in the morning. The apartment complex is situated in the area of Amsterdam called Zeeheldenbuurt. It’s a true residents neighbourhood with lots of local restaurants and coffee shops. It's a 15 minute walk to the main retail street but it's OK to just wander around the neighbourhood, as it's very picturesque and quaint. We drove a car and parking is very expensive, but just a few minute walk away there is Park Bee parking where you can leave your car for the weekend at a very good price.

Great apartment in a residential area, fully equipped kitchen, close to supermarket and to both tram and bus stops. Loved the neighborhood. Will definitely stay there again!

These apartments were great! The staff was friendly and helpful. They suggested great local restaurants and shops. Haarlemmerplein Square is a five minute walk, and you can catch the bus or tram to Central Station to enjoy all the tourist attractions. Also, the tram station is at the end of the block, and that tram will take you to the museum quarter. There’s a coffee shop called Baba’s directly behind the hotel if you want try some space cakes! Overall, my family and I had a great experience here. I would highly recommend it to someone who wants to stay at a great location at a great price!

Excellent service and value for money, a neighbourhood that shows you the real Amsterdam. Great restaurants, cozy cafes, beautiful buildings. Yays team are knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful.

I came here with myself and 5 others. We got 2 apartments, one large room and one normal. More than a day before I emailed the apartments 2 times to ask for and early check in but never to this day received a reply. Once I arrived in Amsterdam I also tried to call and got no answer. We showed up 2 hours early too check in and was told the rooms would be ready at 2. When we came back at 2 the large room was ready however the other room had yet to be finished as the dishwasher was not working so they advised they would need to wash it by hand. A few hours passed and the dishes had not been sorted. When we spoke with a blond woman on reception we asked if we could have a late check out as our room was not ready on time. She was so rude and rolled her eyes at us mulitiple times after agreeing a 30min later check out time. Luckily we did not see her again and all the other staff were lovely, helpful and went abive and beyond. The one thing that let the apartments down is cleanliness which I feel could have been better as in our room the base of the shower looked quite dirty. One good thing was the plug under the TV in our living room was tapped up and we wanted to plug our fire stick in. We told reception and they sent someone to our room who fixed the plug and provided us with an extension cord just encase. The apartments are about a 15-20 min walk to the centre which was great as it meant we did not have to spend money on taxis and trams.

Great apartment in character property in authentic residential area but still close to the action.

Everything went right until the check out time. An employee named AUDRY was extremely rude when we passed by 10 min the check out time. Almost forcing us to go and even to the point of not answering our repetaed claims for information as we departed (facing off literally). THIS WAS EVEN DONE in front of the other clientelle. My advice (second time user of YAYS) if you want to keep a good standard of the place, dismiss people who do not respect the clientelle.

This apartment was perfect! We loved the water views, the space was so lovely and the décor was so simple and fresh! It was great to have a lift and a clothes washer too! The apartment was walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. And we loved how many places there were to eat. All of the staff we encountered were great, cheery and helpful! Nice little boutique hotel located just next to a canal. Location is great. Apartment has everything we need. The only complain is that we were given an apartment with not much view (staring straight into other apartments) and our room doesn't have a window.

On a very short trip to Amsterdam my family stayed here for 2 nights and the accommodation was incredible. Beautiful apartment and amazing staff. The location was close to many attractions and sights. 10/10 would recommend. Hope to go back someday.

Our stay at yays was quite lovely. Our apartment was big enough for the both of us and very clean. They provide a hair dryer for guests. No linen service as there are laundry machines available. Friendly check in staff.

Totally amazing place to stay. Payway was very helpful upon our arrival & gave us some great advice on where to go. All of the staff were friendly too. Would definitely recommend a stay here if your planning a trip to Amsterdam! Thank you.

Fantastic! A success in everything.

We rented one apartment and the boat. We all loved he place and our teenagers did not complain even once :) Hotel is located in a quiet area by a small canal. Nice location, friendly staff, great weather, I know we were lucky :)

Good place for singles, not recommended for families with kids. Clean but very small rooms and small beds, toilet was extremely small, your knees will literally touch the front wall while seated. Kitchenette is well equipped, you have all you need to preparer a meal. Their elevator is battery operated, and most of the time the battery is discharged! Using the stairs is fine… but not when you have baby strollers, and 5 large bags. It's at walking distance from a tram station and a bus station.

We stayed 3 nights in the flat. It is well equipped and we could eat when we want. Beds are very comfortable. Quiet rooms. The only problem is that we couldn't open the windows and have fresh air. Also no window in the bedroom, it is a bit suffocating. It is not in the historical center, you have to take tramway or bus and sometimes quite difficult to understand Amsterdam tramways!
