Nice place in the middle of everything we wanted to do. It’s a small family run place with attitude to detail.
They take good care of you.

Beautiful hotel, cozy staff, nice and helpful, very good breakfast, tastefully decorated spacious rooms, relaxing atmosphere, comfortable beds you sleep very well, coffee machine in top room, clean bathroom and luxury hygiene products, very good cleanliness and change of towels. I would recommend to all these central hotels, I will definitely stay here again, thanks to ❣️

I been informed this morning by Expedia that they have been refused a refund or credit of any kind from this hotel for our July booking. Klm cancelled our flight earlier in the week and they advised straight away what our options were, one of which was, a full refund. Customer service from one extreme to another. We are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, there surely has to be some sort of leeway on normal policy procedures. When we can finally travel to Amsterdam this won't be our hotel of choice.

The best hotel. Great rooms, quiet and spotlessly clean. Fantastic amenities wonderful friendly staff. Can not fault anything. Keep it up Sebastian's yous are the best.

We had a wonderful experience at Sebastian’s Hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful and everything nice and clean. We loved the room that we got and especially the garden that came with it.

My sister and I treated our mum to a city break. It was a big birthday and they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne on arrival. Such a lovely hotel, amazing, friendly, attentive staff throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return and will most certainly recommend. Thanks again x.

Very clean, lovely helpful staff, close to the centre.

The recent renovation has made this one of my top hotels in Amsterdam. The fresh carpet feels good on the toes. Water is very hot. Restroom has a small light that gives one direction in a midnight wake up. The bed is big with fluffy pillows, and one just sinks in it. The breakfast has real American style bacon. To top it off. The gave me a free beer at checkin.

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous location. Great views of the canals. Bar food good considering the tiny kitchen. All staff we met were very friendly and professional. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Me and my family booked this hotel for 10 days and it was great experience for all three of us. It an amazing boutique hotel that located in the prettiest part of amsterdam central in front of the canal. All the boutique shops and the best restaurant are located in this area and its only 10 minutes walk from dam square. The service was excellent, they are always smile, everyone there just wants to help you with any problem or question you have. The environment is really warm and cozy. The rooms are big and really clean, every day the housekeeper come clean the room and make the beds for us. The hotel is really stylish you can sit on the bar peacefully and try some of their good food they offer. We even tried the Room Service twice and it was great. For 3 stars hotel its one of the best ive ever been to around the world. Me and my family had a great 10 days staying in this place, if I would visit Amsterdam again I would definitely come back staying there. Ciao,

I loved my 4-night stay. Our room had a lovely view of the canal and ample storage space. The staff were so very friendly and helpful, marking our map with sites to visit, making hotel reservations and inquiring about our day when we returned. The breakfasts were excellent and a good value. The location was excellent — an easy walking distance from many museums, restaurants, gardens on the garden tour, etc. As well as the train station.

Sebastian’s was truly a home away from home. The hotel is conveniently located, and the rooms are well appointed. It’s a boutique hotel, so yes, you may occasionally hear noise through the walls… but it’s Europe. What sold it for me was the staff. I’ve stayed in several hotels over the years and have rarely encountered such genuinely kind and helpful staff.

We were there in April 2018. Very nice cozy house. Clean and beautifully decorated. Right in the center, Anne Frank Museum is just around the corner and more.

We were super happy with this hotel the staff was very friendly, the rooms very nice and to the Frühstsück there was everything that belongs:-).
What is particularly worth mentioning is that the second morning the Frühstsückskellner asked me how I slept. I told him that the sleep was not so good because the mattresses were too soft for me and the back hurt me so much. Within 10 minutes came a lady of the hotel and told us that we get a new mattress. Great service. The rest of the nights I also slept very well:-).

Stayed in a small double room. Very happy with our stay. Friendly staff. Breakfast (0700-1100) for €10 was great. Fresh orange juice and newly made eggs. All in all — great value.

I would not recommend this hotel. The customer service is unfriendly and unhelpful. Read the cancellation policy carefully. Winter reservations are non-refundable. Summer requires at least 14 days advance. We stayed there when we got married in 2016. The AC did not work in the master bedroom, leading to a very uncomfortable stay until it was repaired. They lost our request for help with wedding arrangements. We planned another brief stay in 2018. Their reservations agent was unfriendly and not helpful. This is the last time I will book there.

Great value for money, good location, nice staff.

This hotel is a great find. The location is excellent (10-15 mins to the main square, Nine Streets and Central station). It is right on the canal for a nice view and a romantic atmosphere. I can’t remember the last time that staff was so friendly and helpful as they were here. Breakfast is delicious. We also liked Rituals products in the bathroom.   We especially have to thank the hotel for fulfilling all our requests and for a nice surprise of a free upgrade to a canal view room. They also gave us plenty of tips for Amsterdam sightseeing before we came and at the hotel. You can also store your baggage there if you need to. The area is quiet in the evening and quite romantic. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Stayed at the Sebastian in February 2018 for 5 nights. The hotel staff were wonderful and spoke English, the rooms were well appointed, the bar with breakfast was great, and the location was ideal. It is located in a quiet neighborhood only 15 minute walk from the central train station. Even though it is on a nice quiet street, it is only a few blocks from all the main attractions and night life of Amsterdam. Tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, activities within walking distance. Red light district and daam square about a 20 minute walk. My wife and I walked to everything, and enjoyed coming back to the hotel each evening to recover for the next day. Can't go wrong with this hotel, and would definitely stay here again.

Booked into hotel for a short half term break with two of my teenage children. Excellent quiet location for exploring with a wide variety of upmarket shops and fantastic eateries and bars nearby. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable although we didnt have much of a view. Shower room was small but modern, well equipped with complimentary Rituals products. Everything was spotless and the staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommended.

Such a Fabulous Hotel. Such friendly staff always happy to help. Wonderful rooms & super comfy beds! A really unique place to stay… & well worth having breakfast here with our kids 6 & 10 free to eat. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel particularly different with a very chic style, the room very well comfortable and clean the bathroom very well a little slippery the tub, breakfast for €10 very well fruit bread and eggs fresh juice etc… The location very close to the central station which helps to move with FA Cilidad. Highly recommended!

Great hotel centrally located. The staff were extremely helpful. It's 3 stars but as good as many 4stars I've visited in Amsterdam.

Quite great hotel. Small but fine room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Again at any time. We arrived by car, difficult to get a parking space nearby. Parking garage ten minutes away, Cost: €50/24h.

Away from the centre yet a short walk from all facilities, this hotel stands out on decor and service. Unfussy, yet stylish. Staff professional and go out of their way to make guests welcome and help them get the best from their stay. The breakfast is good too. If you are happy to do a little walking to discover Amsterdam, this hotel comes highly recommended and the local area is very pleasant.

Sebastian's​ is a wonderful boutique hotel to stay at! Sebastian's is in a perfect location, near the city center. It is walking distance to the city center, but is far enough away that the area is quiet and less crowded. The rooms are very trendy: spacious, clean, modern, and high tech. The rooms are quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The included toiletries are high end and smell beautifully. Service is excellent at Sebastian's! The concierges are very friendly and helpful — they can help you with any questions. The bar/restaurant is excellent as well. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent!

This hotel punches well above it's weight! Best service of our 3 City trip on Europe and the most affordable! The staff started by communicating prior to visit via email. They were super prepared when we arrived and took time to give us a personal overview of the area by map. We used that map as our guide the rest of our stay. The room was small but it had more amenities than the 4 star hotels we stayed at on the other cities if our trip. Their attention to detail was displayed when we returned to our room after a day out and the tub was prepared with towel-pillows. Class act hotel, will remember this one!

This place is awesome. John at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming. I arrived way early from the airport and was given free breakfast. They took my bags while I walked around the city. When I came back 3 hours before check in to drop some stuff off, John checked the status of my room. It would be ready in 15 minutes and John gave me a free beer at the bar. While I was having my beer John came to tell me my room was ready and that my bags were in it. Wish I could give 6 stars.

One of the best stays I've been Europe for many years. Good location especially for those coming by train and just 10min walk to Anne Frank's House. The staff was friendly and easy to approach. I've got a letter thanking the reservation and a welcome drink which was a delicious G&T. Nice and comfy room with huge bathroom and great amenities. I'm definitely going make Sebastian's my home away from home in Amsterdam. Especially due to the how well I felt staying here.

Hello friends travelers, on holiday with my family I was looking for a Dutch hotel that would allow us to stay comfortable and especially all together at prices "human"… Turning on TA I stumbled across this hotel and, after quick and accurate email exchanges with the property, I booked the family room with two double beds garden view; At first I was a little scared since the room had no balconies and was on the basement but then I had to rethink.
Let's go with order…
The hotel is located 10 ' walk from the station and all the main attractions of Amsterdam, as well as the tram stops leading to the museum area; In addition, the area is quiet with lots of bars and cute little restaurants to eat.
Arrived at the reception, the girl had made a bit of casino by scoring two adults and two children but thanks to a colleague everything was promptly resolved and we get escorted to the room. What about… Beautiful, spacious with two beautiful double beds, a huge walk-in closet, super bathroom with spacious shower and bathtub and Nespresso machine (what else? ) available together with 3 free bottles of water every day (remember that the water, especially Sparkling, coast like gold and have it for free is a gem! ).

Boutique Hotel, direct access on the channel, close to the train station and shops. Very nice clean and cosy. Hearty breakfast. Nice staff. No complaints about this place, we had a nice weekend.

Espcially with the payment it is really a headach. U got discount but than u have to pay directly. The debt card doesnt work at their hotel. And then they send u mail and call u to pay the bill. Event at 23.00 in the night. Very annoying.

Very nice hotel, just 10 min walk from the central station. Well-decorated with nice service: bikes available for rent, kind and attentive staff, lots of choices for free breakfast. You can get a nice room overlooking the canal. Room size is on a smaller side, though well compensated for with nice decor and inviting ambiance.

The hotel has lovely room and en suite wet room. The breakfast buffet is very good. Wi-Fi and coffee machine in room. I chose it for close proximity to attractions.

Sebastian's Hotels staff were wonderful (some work at the Toren Hotel also) during our stay in Amsterdam. Always helpful and very friendly. We will stay here again for sure! Rooms are nice… has an elevator if needed and bar tenders are great! Great hotel for couples or people with children.

I returned for a 2nd stay in January at this lovely little hotel. The staff are so helpful, and the place is always welcoming. They have a nice purple and black theme in the entrance and bar area, and a well furnished, laid back smoking area behind glass closed doors just off the bar. The rooms are recently refurbished to a high standard, everything is cosy with a touch of luxury. Eric and Petra, and the proud owners of both this and the near by Toren hotel. I would definitely return, and highly recommend this well priced hotel.

The bed is super comfortable! The staff is very friendly and accommodating! Thanks to the air conditioning, adjust the temperature. The coffee maker in the room sweetens the Morning!

My girlfriend and I had a lovely 4-night stay at the Hotel Sebastian's! While the room and the facilities were very nice (no real complaints there), I can not say enough positive things about the service. Every single employee that we dealt with was willing to drop whatever they were doing to help us with absolutely anything we needed. Add to that to the wonderful location right on the Keizergracht Canal, and this is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam!
