I've already recommended this hotel to multiple people! We loved the staff, so engaging and personable, they were the highlight of our time at this hotel. We were on the third floor in a triple room with three of us and there was plenty of storage and room for all of us to be comfortable. There are a few bars and restaurants in the immediate area and Leidsplein is close if you need more activity. Close to the museums and many other activities. Also the beautiful Mimi, such a sweet utile cat that was a surrogate for the love of our for legged babies at home.

What a disaster. I have no idea who are the people writing better reviews for this over priced dungeon?. The stairs alone should be enough for you to checkout on the spot and move somewhere else. The beds are too small even for kids. The breakfast is less less than ordinary. And the price? Wowww! Don’t be fooled by the pics and by the reviews. Take my word and book somewhere else because if you don’t, I can guarantee that you will remember my review once you check in!

Great location in the city and super wonderful and friendly staff. The stairs are a little intense, but you get used to them very quickly. Mimi the cat is the best!

Great little hotel perfectly away from the tourist center but in easy walking distance to both the dam Square and to the modern art or van Gough. No lift is good to remember but the staff is excellent. Would highly recommended.

10/10 The most helping nice staff I have ever seen. And oh dont even get me started on Mimi Will stay again when will visit Amsterdam. Great location also. But hey whoever is the boss in there — you have amazing people working there — value them.

Good accommodation to visit Amsterdam, tram stop No. 7 and 10 in front of the hotel entrance. Good breakfast. Recommended.

We were only there for one night in the Christmas season we had a really great time, warm welcome sympathy and especially clean rooms, decent bathroom and big central breakfast location is included.

Great place near leidsplein. 5 min walk. Quiet and facing theatre. Staff helpful, breakfast great. Free coffee/hot choc for guests. Mimi the cat made an appearance too!

Super Cozy Lovely clean the people very friendly the breakfast delicious and the cat Supermono.

The stairs don very steep. The same for carrying the suitcases give you a drink of welcome.

Very pleasant stay. Helpful and nice staff, clean. The free coffee was a welcome gesture. Elderly people should consider the small and steep stairs. Smallish rooms were to be expected and well appropriate for the price. 5/5

Please note this is not the hotel for you if you have trouble climbing stairs or are allergic to cats. Otherwise it is an enjoyable stay with helpful and friendly concierge. They helped us find tickets and gave us recommendations. Definitely made use of the free breakfast and was able to enjoy some dutch cheeses at five! Nicely located with an easy walk around central amsterdam.

Hotel location and staff are amazing — our best experiences in Amsterdam were because of staff recommendations of places to try for food/coffee, which resulted in finding additional spots to explore.

This is a great little hotel. The location is wonderful for travelers, the trams 1, 2, and 5 from the train station run just around the corner in the Leidesplein and the Airport express bus (#97) is a block away. There are plenty of dining options within a 5 minute walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed there in a triple room (a little cozy for three people) and had a great time, I will be back there the next time I am in Amsterdam.

The best affordable hotel in Amsterdam. Very satisfied with the cleanliness and service. Would recommend visitors travelling to Amsterdam. Its not far from city center. Easy and transportation to the city centre, central station as well to Schipol airport.

Frankly very disappointed, already one has to climb 4 floors of very steep and there is no assenceur of the more we are robbed many times in surely by the persons charge of the household when we were not the.

I was stolen at the La Boheme hotel, as I was going to travel several countries to go to Amsterdam, I took money in several currencies, separating only the euro that I would use on the day, when I left everything was apparently normal, with all my jewels in it, Telling the money I realized that someone opened it and stole half the amount so I did not realize it, I talked to the manager Jaqueline who told me that I could not prove it, obviously not! No camera in the room! Dealing with such a serious question with complete disregard and questioning the truthfulness of the facts. Do not stay at this hotel you can be STOLEN!

Lovely place, very nice personal, so close to center. No a/c in rooms, tight stairways to room.

Good location but very noisy and a bit dirty. A cat is always in the dining area so anyone who has a cat Allergy caution.

We had a very pleasent stay at La Boheme. Perfectly located at the Leidseplein, really friendly staff and a so delicious breakfast!
Unfortunately we did not see Mimi during our stay. Anyway, I would recommend this hospilatily everytime.

Hotel in a central location you can reach any place on foot, very friendly staff. Cleaning poor quality. We found the room clean only for the first day.

Perfect location and FANTASTIC friendly & helpful staff. I would not only recommend this cute hotel it will be the only place I will stay on my return. Not just because of location and cuteness but credit to the front of house staff who were the best I came across in my travels. An extra big THANK YOU to the man from Africa who cleans rooms and helped me with my case up those stairs … what a credit to this great hotel he is … sorry I forgot your name. But thank you everyone I encounted and made my trip easy and fall in love with Amsterdam. I can't wait to come back! And breakfast YUM.

Was to have arrived yesterday to the hotel, but the last fifteen day I found a Breast Cancer. Although I contacted more than 10 days in advance to the hotel with a copy of the medical report as they began the treatment, I was told that their policy was no cancellation. They called Me the day of the alleged arrival to confirm that I would not and I understand that on the following day to put the room back to the sale and keep my money. I hope I heal and go to Amsterdam, but I am clear that I will NOT GO TO THAT HOTEL SO INHUMANE AND LITTLE SOLIDARITY.

This place was amazing. Right across from the theatre and close to leidesplein. Fun and easy to just walk outside and get lost in Amsterdam. Favourite hotel even though the stairs were rough.

Great hotel, centrally located in Amsterdam. Stayed here for 3 nights in a triple room. The staff was excellent and the room a real value. The room we were in still had the old european style toilets which are not ideal, but I was told by the manager they are in the process of renovating and switch all of those out. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Amsterdam.

Friendly, excellent staff, reasonable rates, excellent breakfasts, great location (close to all the major museums, metro, and entertainment), but the rooms are quite small, and the stairs are death-defying! Watch your step.

He made that my vacation would be perfect.
