De service was goed en vriendelijk personeel, en de kamers waren netjes verzorgd. Ook goed gegeten in het restaurant waar ook rekening gehouden werd met het feit dat ik een maagverkleining gehad heb.

We had planned what we thought to be a lovely Christmas getaway at Kasteel Erenstein. Unfortunately this turned into a nightmare for us. The “Luxury” room was old and run down in desperate need of a paint job. The room and bathroom was not cleaned properly. We had to ask the cleaning lady to clean inside door of the bathroom as something was splattered all over it. The bath towels were old, gray and thinning! The fact that it was Christmas could not be felt via the decorations or the staff. Very cheap plastic decorations were used and the staff never even made an effort to wish the guests a Merry Christmas. The food was of poor standard, the breakfast was cold (inclusive coffee & tea). The whole Christmas experience was gone. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I was visiting the hotel on a business trip with some colleagues and the interior is not really modern but also not really old style which would be nice as well, so it was between in my room. One of my colleagues had a room which really looked like it wasn't changed for 30+ years and was fully outdated. So it really depends what kind of room you have. What I definitely don't like is the thick carpet everywhere. Service and breakfast were nice and friendly. So it was a pleasant stay but the hotel definitely needs some updates.

Do not let yourself fooled by the pictures on their website. You will not sleep in the castle, but in a former stable. Friendly but basic service.

Well, they lack towels and a bit of maintenance to the room. The sheets didn't seem spotless. Breakfast was good too.

Everything neat. Great and easy to reach location. Rooms were cleaned when we were away and polite staff. Breakfast was also good and broad. Only thing was that it looked a bit old.

An hotel in a farm from 1713. The rooms are a bit basic at times but sitting in the courtyard with a beer or wine is just amazing. And the service is so good! Personal and friendly. Worst bit? Breakfast. Better get there early cos once it's gone, it's gone!

The hotel looks beautiful and the area is great for hiking. The rooms are clean and big. The staff is nice and helps in any way they can.

Hotel rooms are very rustic. Unfortunately, a hair dryer/water cooker is missing. The restaurant offers not only a nice ambience, but also a very tasty prepared food. You taste the fresh ingredients used. Highly recommended. A friendly service ensures that you can feel comfortable.

The hotel is located in a centuries-old walls and is very rustic equipped in the lobby and the lounge. Who goes with the Navi, is possibly led to the diagonally opposite restaurant Kasteel. The hotel entrance is somewhat hidden, you can see it over, if you don't see the sign while driving.
The reception is friendly, multilingual. The rooms are huge for this price class. The breakfast is good and reasonable. The parking space for the car costs nothing extra. Rental bicycles are available, I have not used it however.

I appreciate hotels worry about the environment, but here it goes too far for me. The light bulbs are so weak that it simply impossible to read, there are no coffee/tea, coffee maker in room, no safe, no SOAP bar (only this industrial liquid detergent), of course, no a/c in the rooms, in the name of the Holy environment. And icing on the cake, if you open the minibar, it is not only empty but for getting off! In other words, you pay for a 4 * rooms, but you get none of the comfort, you have the right to expect. To be in line with its environmental policy, be sure to travel by bike or on horseback. Or better, at home. For me I'm sure that the hotels that I would visit none of this kind of green now punitive policy. I wonder if the hotel management is aware, that it is still the customer, the business most run, money on the Green trend is not some green Ayatollah organizations.

We had been booked for 2 nights on arrival and key me, I shocked was devastated room. Sorry, if you have to be in a room on the ground floor PRI or 1st floor is at the end when iterating in Efteling, thought a moment. What a dark cave and scarf and the fridge was not cold. We are a small outdated rooms with something larger outdated rooms moved, it couldn't get poorer. Bathroom was top. It is really not deluxe double room of the image (still the cheapest room) we have tried, back, but well get our money, which was not successful. 3 rooms, we have a luxury suite and was underway. Very happy. We talk and laugh should have. Breakfast I found clean and well, I had to serve food in the castle to get used to, but there is no Mac good ;-) Food was otherwise good. It would be an option to make the room bright and white. But a 2 X no, that he will be.
