What a shame! An establishment which does not reach its ambitions. We paid 35 $ (3500r) after long negotiations for one room, clean but humid, without charm, without Wi-Fi and especially without hot water. That is unacceptable for 35 $. At 2000m the water is very cold. You have to be in the main building — more attractive — to benefit from all these (basic) services. On the other hand, the room has a balcony with a very beautiful view on the himalayas. It is a unique positive point. An expensive positive point! For 35 $ (after negotiation) you are in half-pension. The dinner is essentially chinese because one group had more or less privatized the hotel. The food is without any highlight and quite average. All was prepared for the groups and the “isolated” tourists had to go along with it. The breakfast is similar to the level of the dinner and therefore very far of touch compared to the summits around. Finally, the most annoying point remains the lack of sincerity of the hotel manager! As we politely exposed the reasons of our discontent, he became very unpleasant describing us as bad clients (fact is, in one month of travel in Nepal, we never came across any problem). This was probably due to a problem of communication from the beginning : no one in the team was able to speak English. Except for the manager, the rest of the team, young people, tried their best to help out and were very kind. We were glad they were there!

Disgusting. For far the worst of Nepal. Rooms are dirty, cigarettes on the floor, disgusting bathroom, towels, and linen. Food is only Chinese style and it is absolutely uneatable. I would strongly prevent anyone of going there. Be careful, tourism agencies include it as part of hiking package and they don't warn you how disgusting it is.

Very wonderful and nice place to spend time to be refreshed.

The rooms we got were very comfortable with attached bathroom, balcony and air conditioning. The air conditioning was not working in one of the rooms so they gave us a space heater which worked fine for us. For the view and the rooms I'd give them 5. But the food was really bad : (and the place was full of loud East Asian tourists that ruined the quiet sunrise ambience for us. Might go back for the views but would not sign up for the buffet dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately they didn't have alacarte menus.

Hotel service is not good. Staff are not attentive.
