We only stayed one night at this lovely very well run hotel.
It's very close to restaurants and shops in Tamel but is peaceful.
We were lucky to be offered a family room which was large and attractive with a very comfortable bed, sitting area, bar fridge and slippers.
Excellent shower and hot water.
The hotel arranged a driver who drove us to Pokhara, where we stayed for two nights for a very reasonable price. He was available during the day to drive us to places of interest in Pokhara.
Overall a memorable stay and we would definitely stay there next time.

Good spacious rooms located in tourist location. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Lower than expectations. Staff is really helpful and courteousn. Food is great.

Rooms are cozy but small. One more drawback is they don't serve dinner after, 9.30. Overall stay was comfortable.

Stayed in Taleju for a total of 3 nights in Kathmandu. Great staff who will accommodate your needs. Perfect location in the heart of Thamel, with lots of shopping and historical sites nearby. Do take advantage of the spa and wellness services here on the last day of your stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place but would not recommend restaurant except for breakfast. It is better to eat out for lunch and dinner. Many good eating places are in walking distance.

We have been very happy with the stay. The service is over the top and the staff is so so Nice! If the cleaning of the rooms had been better I would have given the hotel 5 starts in sted of 4 I still will regiment others to use the hotel.

Location is great (I personally do not like hotels that are too centered in Kathmandu because that is too chaotic) Airport pick up was great! (But beware the guy holding your name, may not be your driver and may charge you extra for your bags we got fleeced $20 — obviously an arrangement between porters and drivers! Try Stand your ground and pay only $10 they can be quite aggressive! ) 눇Friendly staff, roof top not utilised as much as good be but was a lovely little sun trap to chill out for a few hours.

Nice stay /Travelled across Mumbai to Kathmandu around 2000kms and was a pleasant stay with Gorkha beer with some amazing food!

Decent room, nice breakfast, lovely inner courtyard. Staff were friendly and helpful. I wish the water in the shower had been hotter and the Internet connection better. Roof terrace is a little underwhelming but at least they have one. Otherwise a pretty good option especially for the price.

Majestic place. This one truly is a reflection of Nepal. Gr8 hospitality, sumptuous meals, cozy n neat rooms with decent view. Terrace garden to enjoy sunshine and hot cup of tea was like icing on the cake. I will recommend this to all visiting Kathmandu for warm stay.

Great little inn, a bit out of the hubbub of Thamel. They pay attention to the details, highly recommend.

It's a very good 4 star hotel, very good hospitality especially thanks to Miss Pooja the desk manager she manages everything, the food is good, they have got a good cheaf location is also very good easily accessible very near to Thmel market.

Love this place. The staff was great as well as the location in Thamel. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip.

Very clean and spacious room, friendly staff, quiet location just south of Thamel, awesome and delicious yet fairly priced foods at the hotel restaurant with tables in the nice courtyard. Will come here again next time!

Great little hotel in Kathmandu. Will recommend to friends. Sparkling clean rooms that are very good size.

Great hotel. The garden is a peacful oasis in Thamel, off the main streets but still close to everything. Airport pickup was great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice with great AC and Wi-Fi, and we really liked the kettle for making tea and the mini-fridge. There is a roof top patio as well — we watched everyone flying kites above Kathmandu there one day. The breakfast is awesome too, and the Chicken Butter Masala is so good we had to order it twice. It's hard to motivate to explore other restaurants when the one at the hotel is so good! We highly recommend this place — can't wait to come back some day!

Nice place to stay for a few days. It is located not in the main street, so it is not so noisy) location is on the heart of Themal with a lot of small shops around. They have a decent restaurant with good food (I ate everything was ok). Room was with air conditioner. A big bad with a decent mattress. In the there is a kettle and cups. Shower is combined with the toilet, but have no separation and ventilation from the toilet goes to the room, which should not be a problem for a couple) ). The room was clean and stuff very polite. It has a small internal garden and spa salon. По ціеі якість думаю хороше місце, щоб зупинитись на пару ночей). Ресторан працює цілий день тому можливо їсти просто на теритооіі готелю не виходячи нікуди) ) ) в номері є кондиціонер та чайник з сейфом. Можливо просто приходити та поїсти прогулюючись містом.

Very good place to to stay. Midway between Kings ways and Tamel. Welcome was good. Rooms are clean. Enjoyed stay a lot.

What a lovely place. Staff are super friendly. Rooms are very very clean with a good Indian, Nepali and Chinese cuisine. This is definitely a place to visit when you're around thamel. Manager is always helpful and so have so much to share. Whenever you're in need of something get with the manager Devendra karki. Get in contact with the barman Santosh. Such a great guy. Grab yourself a Gorkha beer and enjoy the ambience. You will just love the peace around this part of town. They are definitely 10 star service…

We stay for 1 night… staff are so much helpful and nice room are cleans… food are good. We got good massage and specially the manager dravendan is given us so much information during our stay here in nepal… surely we will recommend them for our friends.

Nice place to stay with family. Queit place away the city dust. 5 minutes of walk to bus station, to market or city. Its a clean place.

The hotel the surrounding and the ambience was excellent,,, only thing I did not like was the complimentary breakfast they served. Rest its a must go hotel!

This was my first trip to Nepal, as a western woman traveling alone, I booked this hotel at the strong suggestion of a local friend. The place is very clean, with room service, it is relatively quiet with an inner courtyard, with food available through out the day with inside or courtyard dining. All of the staff are attentive & forth coming with information regarding local points of interest, cultural sites & extremely helpful with directions & assistance for taxis & tours, generous with their time. This hotel is within walking distance to everything, located centrally to many local dining & shopping venues. I would stay again should I travel to Kathmandu.

Spent some nights in the Taleju hotel in February. Great and friendly staff everywhere, from management to the boys at the bar/restaurant. I really liked my stays here. As I had a chance to enjoy different rooms during my stays my preference — and thus recommendation — clearly goes to the exceptional penthouse room (405) with the lovely terrace and view.
The hotel is perfectly located in Thamel in Jyatha Marg, close to shops and restaurants (e. G. Fren's kitchen).

Beautiful hotel a little oasis amongst the madness of Kathmandu, the bed is really comfy and the staff have been more than attentive and helpful I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning at the end of my stay in Nepal.

Fantastic experience at Taleju. The entire staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, the courtyard and rooftop was very pleasant, and the food was delicious. I will stay at Taleju whenever I find myself in Kathmandu again!
