This lodge is located at very nice and quite place of Dhulikhel where we got very warm hospitality. This lodge is very suitable to see mountains and spend overnight. I highly recommend this lodge to stay at Dhulikhel.

Probably the most comfortable beds in Dhulikhel for the price I paid. Enjoyed staying in the room with actual huge HD TV. Loved the food in the rooftop restaurant. Definitely recommend to all Karma Namgyal Sangmo Samten.

Great view of Mountains and Himalaya.

Love the service and food. Not the best place if you are looking for upscale rooms as I found the rooms are good but not that neat. Old Furnitures and decoratives need to be replaced. Toilet and showers need upgrades. All in all a good place to hangout with family abd friends. Great view of mountain range, quiet and calm place to spend day and relax.

Very nice hotel with beautiful views into the valley. Rooms are pleasantly large. Unfortunately, due to the hillside location and the many steps, the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

Nice hotel with beautiful view of mountain range and excellent hospitality. This is ideal place for residential workshops seminars and trainings. It has one very big hall and 3 big halls that suitable for different types of seminars and workshops. It has enough ground outside the hall for demonstration and practical exercise. The staff of this hotel is very friendly, always available and ready to help. You can have morning and evening walk inside the hotel premises as it has big area. You can also do short hiking around to keep you healthy. In case you are sick, you don't need to worry as the hospital with multiple specialities is just nearby. The famous Kathmandu University is also nearby. This place may be for overnight while travelling to Chinese border and Solukhumbu.

Very good place to visit and stay at Dhulikhel Lodge Resort. The food was moderate, rooms are not so clean but the view is awesome. If you are lucky and the sky is clear then you will have opportunity to see the view of Everest from there…

Very beautiful resort. Staffs were friendly. Food was tasty. Only problem was we didn't find Wi-Fi from our room. From the resort, you can get a chance to see the Everest peaks if the sky is clear. You can also explore small mountain village life if go down the hills from the resort.

The rooms a little basic but the bed very comfortable and if you take top floor rooms good views when the day is clear.

One of the best place. While book ask for the roof top room. It the best in the hotel It the one which is towards left hand side. A bit more private with personal space outside to play and sit.

Been there a number of times, with friends, families and for work. Every time I go there, I find the ambiance refreshing. Nice views of the snow capped mountains from your window is something amazing to see. They foods are okay, I won't say great, but just okay. Staffs are friendly. The resort is more popular among tourists. I was not very impressed with the service and the price was higher than I expected. So compared to others I would rate this as an average. But you get a good view from the restaurant.

Extremely disappointed with the Dhulikhel Lodge Resort. I visited to consider taking a group of 25 people there in February 2018. I made a reservation for those 25 people for two nights. I returned the following week to confirm my reservation and put down a deposit, and when I arrived I was told that my reservation had been cancelled, as they had had a group of 50 people from an NGO book in for 10 nights. He claimed it was the fault of the central office for not confirming it to the hotel itself when they took my booking, but it was clear that they had cancelled us in favour of a larger, longer booking. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionality, the lack of contact to inform me of this, and the way it was handled. Not only that, but there are few large resorts in the area, and I still have not secured another booking. Shame on you. A disappointment to Nepal's usually fabulous tourism sector. I will not be recommending you to travellers to Nepal.

A place for transformation and sheer tranquility with great food and panoramic view of mountains that amazes you every second you stay there. With great services it simply is one of the best in the entire Dhulikhel! :)

Run by one of the oldest family in hospitality business, DLR caters to foreigners and Nepalis alike with the highest standards. Situated amongst the lush green forest at the northern edge of Dhulikhel, DLR offers a 270 degree panorama view of the mountains. On a clear day, you'll see range of Dorje Lakpa atop layers of hills. The view is second to none. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There's ample parking space and multiple guest buildings. The rooms have all modern amenities, and have hosted VIPs ranging from Prime ministers to actors. The food is relatively better. A cute cafe in-house is a paradise for coffee lovers, alongside an array of select books to read through. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

A good resort for weekend gateway. A large property/premises. They have comfortable rooms with nice views. Stupa garden is a place to see and sit for fresh air, nice views. The price is little high but of course its justificable. All organised parkings and only little inside from main dhulikhel bus park.

It's like being in Paradise. Wonderful product, people and service. The warmth and the personal touch of people at the resort right from the Management to the staff is unbelievable, its scenic and wonderful place to be at with great conferencing and Spa venue with breathtaking view from rooms of the Himalan ranges. A must place to stay and experience the Nepali traditional hospitality.

Placed in Dhulikhel with nice climate and astonishing environment with view of the mighty mountains. Service is also very good with lots of free space.

We had a well-equipped room with great views over the Kathmandu valley. A big plus the little lodging with its own garden in the lower rooms. Our food from the buffet was also good.

Excellent place to enjoy serene beauty of Himalaya. Not too far from Kathmandu and importantly well connected with good motorable road. If u are looking for a lazy lunch with friends and family the resort is the place to be. Rooms are well equipped with heater and all other necessary amenities. Decent quality of food with reasonable price.

It is a good place to sit and have a cup of tea or to rest, If u r travelling. And the rooms are cheap and clean. It has a good view of the farm land. The service and people are very welcoming. How ever if you plan to have a relaxing weekend with family or friends, I would not suggest it.

Would never recommend it to anyone. Had worst experience with the manager of the hotel. From backing off of pre-made deals to lack of humanitarian values… I would give 0 stars if possible.

I loved it, this was my first visit in dhulikhel and I liked the place very much, the views from the resort was awesome, lucky to see the mountain range from the resort, interior of the lodge is beautiful and you can't beat the exterior natural views. About the food if you are a vegetarian you cannot found any place better than this. It was authentic Indian food totally. You can have puri chole, jalebi, curd everything in the breakfast. Staff was cooperative. If get a chance to visit Nepal again, definitely want to go to Dhulikhel and this resort specially.

Dhulikhel Lodge Resort is one of the best resort located at Dhulikhel. I have had a wonderful time with my family and everyone of us enjoyed at most. The most beautiful panoramic view of himalayas, best people, best services, best location, cozy rooms, best food (yummy), and plenty of amenities, spa, sauna, massage therapies… a perfect place for holidays, weekends :)

This place is good and peaceful.

Wonderful place to stay in Dhulikel a few days. You are close to the downtown and the main road, but it's really quite to sleep or simply rest. The morning and evening, you can see one of the best panorama in the world : the Himalaya. It is as beautiful as the garden where are the rooms. The rooms are perfect (especially the beds with two blankets) except one plug what doesn't work. In conclusion, if you have to stay in Dhulikel, you can reserve here without any problem!
