The North Face Inn's Homestay Hotel

This place is very special. We stayed one night but could have stayed a whole year! Very remote in the hills just outside of Pokhara, over looking the lake and the family’s farm. We were made to feel extremely at home and I enjoyed every minute of my stay.

This home stay is fantastic. Raju and Sharada are gracious hosts. Both speak wonderful english. Raju is knowledgeable and a great source of information on trekking, transportation, and any other Nepali adventure you wish to persue.
The home stay itself is situated above the lake with beautiful views of the mountains, the lake and the lights of the city of Pokhara. The rooms are spotless and each one has a private toilet and shower.
Sharada is a wonderful cook and maintains beautiful flower and vegetable gardens.
You cannot find a better home stay than The North Face Inn’s Homestay!

This has been the best homestay experience of my life! I was absolutely delighted from start to finish. What makes this place truly unique is the incredible view that greets you right from the windows and terrace. The beauty of Nepal's nature unfolds before you, and it simply takes your breath away!
But it wasn't just the view that was stunning; the hospitality and kindness of the hosts were exceptional. They warmly welcomed me and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I was amazed by the genuine attention they paid to my needs, and it was always enjoyable to have conversations with them about local customs and culture. They truly exceeded my expectations and created an unforgettable experience.
I am sincerely grateful to these wonderful people for providing such an unforgettable homestay experience. Everything, from the views to the food and hospitality, was simply perfect. I am thrilled to know that there are such incredible individuals who open their doors and make a stay in their home special. We enjoyed 10 nights with the North Face Inn Homestay. We loved our experience! As adventurous Americans with cleanly standards, this trip to Pokhara, staying at this Homestay, was exactly what we needed. The homestay is located on the hillside of the Fewa Lake where we appreciated the views and scenes of Lakeside from the beautiful vantage point high up the hill. Raju and his family are truly pleasant people and enjoyable to talk with. They took care of our needs and provided a nice, easy-going environment. Their home is spectacular and spotless. The property hosts a family of helpers that provide skill and labor to the farm land. Fresh crops were cultivated daily for the meals, we thoroughly enjoyed the freshness of Saraahna's farm-to-kitchen cooking. Their 2 dogs, Kaali and Gori were spectacular watch dogs, super friendly, and would often walk with us down the hill as if they were providing us with company and protection on our walk. While the home is situated 2km up the hill, my wife and I preferred walking up and down the mountain as this gave us some good exercise and opportunities to explore the beautiful surroundings and to meet some awesome local people and artists such as Urmila — who lives by Y Chowk. So much to do in Pokhara and at the same time, there was plenty of time to relax at the tranquil environment provided by this lovely home. Thank you Raju and family!
