Bella Luna Bed and Breakfast

My stay was good, location is absolutely perfectly situated near the lagoon which is awesome. Breakfast and staff good, very helpful. The room however has not cupboards just a hanging rack so that is a slight discomfort. But over all I had a good stay.

The hosts were incredibly attentive, always ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. They took every request seriously, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs.

It's truly wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, making me feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented, which added a special touch to my stay. Every detail showed the owners’ pride in offering excellent hospitality. I left feeling relaxed, happy, and eager to return. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking comfort and care.

We are finding it very difficult to make a booking and receive confirmation. Thereafter, it becomes equally challenging to obtain an invoice.
It seems that the person answering the calls is not the same individual responding to emails, which results in a lot of back-and-forth communication without any positive outcome.
We would appreciate it if this matter could be streamlined to ensure quicker and more efficient service going forward.

Bella Luna B&B is located in a quiet residencial area in Walvis Bay, 5km south of the centre, and offers 6 rooms. You have the lagoon nearby. Parking in front of the door. Furnishings and decoration provide a modest atmosphere. Service is friendly and helpful. Our room had 2 benches that can be turned into a simple bed, air-co, complete kitchenette with fridge & micro-wave, toaster & water-boiler, TV & wardrobe. We had a separate bedroom with OK queen-size bed, and adequate small bathroom with washbasin, toilet, and shower. All was clean. Windows can open, but don’t have mosquito screens. Breakfast is fine: eggs made to order, bread & toast, cold cuts & cheese, fruit & fruit salad, cereals & yoghurt, pastries & orange juice, tea & coffee. Bella Luna is a quiet & safe accommodation, good for 1 night. Recommended.

Its the place to go to if you want a rather calm and safe place to stay for work. You get an indoor garage if you have a nice car.

She help us to get to houer room, and 🥞 The other lady that help here making breakfast was so delicious. Slept like a baby.

Lovely B & B, with great breakfast, super fast Wi-Fi, well located, safe parking. Small things in the room are a little tired, shower leaks, kitchen tap needs replacing. Great service.

We spent only a night in Walvis Bay, it's great location, veryspacious room, good breakfast, good value for money.

Only words I have is absolutely perfect. Accommodation very comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff very professional and friendly.

Bella Luna B&B in Walvis Bay is awesome! It's super close to the lagoon – just 200 meters away. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, perfect for a peaceful stay. The staff is fantastic and always ready to help. But the best part? The breakfast is amazing – the absolute best in town! I highly suggest staying here for a wonderful and relaxing time. You won't be disappointed!
And the price is unbeatable in Walvis Bay.

The service was not very good, for example was it not possible to book a table in a restaurant for us or to recomment us an agency for a trip to Sandwich harbour. It was for us notvpossoble to leave one day earlier than we boooked before. The breakfast was not very good. The rooms are clean and spacious.

I checked in at the Bella Luna on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and accommodating towards me. At first I got a room without a bathtub and I really wanted a bathtub so they went the extra mile and moved me to a different room with a bathtub at the immediate request. Breakfast was wonderful each morning and the coffee was fresh and hot. They cleaned the room each day and none of my stuff was touched or moved. This is a truly wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Reception inviting and the person who received us was very friendly/helpful & clear with instructions.
Free, unrestricted Wi-Fi and the reception was acceptable and fair — I cannot complain about this actually very happy with this.
Rooms were clean, spacious. Spacious bathroom.
Very little, inconvenient space to unpack/hang clothes.
I friendly & apologetically asked for a clean towel just after arrival, since the one in the bathroom had a very bad smell — Receptionist helped me with a clean fresh towel without hesitation or hard feelings.
Toilet seat broken/loose upon arrival. (Failed to report-Just kept on using it as is. Did not want to come forward as a complaining-guest. )
Personally would have liked a glass or something similar at the hand basin where I could put my toothbrush, but not a complaint. (I probably could have used the cup at the coffe station. )
Readily available hot water at all times, so I had a pleasant shower everytime.
There was a very nice complimentary chocolate presented on a bathrobe on the bed which I think was a very kind gesture and I personally appreciated this.
Beds are extremely firm/hard, BUT in this case I actually liked it. Others might not…

Bar fridge door stuck on floor with opening/closing. Guessing floor/fridge not level. (Failed to report-Just kept on using it as is. Did not want to come forward as a complaining-guest.

We had traveled for 15 days in Namibia and this was the only bad stay throughout the entire roadtrip. First of all, the room was cold (the weather in Walvis is quite windy), so I was hoping to get a hot shower. Well, the shower was not even close to hot and my husband went to ask at the reception if we need to switch something on. The answer was "wait a few minutes". I stood under the shower for 10 minutes, almost freezing, and the hot water did not appear. It was hot in the sink, but not in the shower. The second terrible experience was the noise. The building is not isolated at all, and we could hear everything — from people tolking at the reception, to the noise in breakfast area, and also our neighbours. We could literally hear them talk to eachother and they were not loud. We checked out one day earlier, and I made a mistake, asking the manager to give us a 50% refund — and in the return I wouldn't write the review. It was a bad mistake, because these things need to be addressed, so that other travelers know what to expect. His answer was quite arrogant (he accused me of threatening with a bad review), as I am sure it will be in this case (Tripadvisor review). I don't care — I am telling the truth. I have been traveling for over 20 years, and I have always been honest here. Perhaps some people are not bothered by the noise, or they don't care about the hot water. But I do and if someone else is, you should take this into consideration.

All the staff is friendly and professional.
The owner Johann brought us in a fantastic an incredible tour to sandwich harbour, through the dunes and then to the peninsula; an unforgettable experience to do in the morning.
Bella Luna really deserves a stopover and more.
