Everything was just perfect. From the kitchen interior and functionality up to the tiniest details in decorating. We've felt welcomed and very much at home. Big plus, the owners are Christians <3
Our biggest problem: Restroom and shower is open inside the room. There were no Moskitonetting. Therefore we could not cool the room and it stayed hot troughout the nighht.
The promised complementary breakfast was not available. The milk was old and smelly and there was no joghurt.
We will definitely not come back.

Our host Penny and Diana are like diamonds on the sand we book in an then decided to go to Tweifelfontyn on our way back had car trouble 78 km out on a gravel road I phone them at 18h37 and they did go out of their way to help even what to cook for us and offer to come and pick us up. We decided not yo abandoned the car with all our belongings. He send Bennie (all the locals know him as Bennie hond because his dog ride with him on his motorcycle) if he had wings he will be and angel. He was out on a breakdown in Hentiesbay and on his way back to Uis he pickup all the equipment he will need to fixed it. Bennie an Colin reached us around 23h30 make a temporary fix and drove behind us all the way to the Green Elephant Cottage. Penny was in contact with us all the way and give us update how far Bennie is. Penny and Diana offer us to check out later the next day. But I took the car back to Bennie and the fixed it. Back to the Cottage they even have cereal breakfast and fresh milk. Definitely will visit them again and will recommend the Green Elephant Cottage. PS they are also look after the Environment by going green solar-powered.
