Daureb Isib Campsite and B&B

Beautiful location. Very relaxed. Too bad they couldn't get hot water for the shower. Uis itself is a pleasant little town, without highlights. But with a garage where we received excellent help with our flat tire.

Daureb Isib is an amazing facility. We stay in the B&B accommodation and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space in the room, well equipped bathroom, and lovely outside shower. There was water in the room, fridge, kettle and coffee making options. An AC unit to use if you wish. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
We had dinner at the cafe which is open till 9pm, and food was great. Wifi there too if you need it.
Staff were brilliant and very friendly — making sure we had everything we needed.
If you are travelling from Etosha, Eronga to Swakomund this is a great stop off to break your journey and you wouldn't be disappointed.

Loved my stay at Daureb Isib campsite. Our little space was charming and comfortable. I loved having my own bathroom with an outdoor shower. The pool was cute. The landscaping was well thought out with beautiful plants that enhanced the location. The food at the nice restaurant was excellent. The Daureb Isib campsite had the best souvenir shop of all the places we stayed in our almost month long trip through Namibia. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed at the campsite and had a lot of privacy with own bathroom, the pool as well as the whole lodge area is very neat and welcoming. It was one of the best camps we stayed at! Can only recommend going!

First few days we stayed in the standard tented room then got upgraded to the luxury one. Can recommend Daureb Isib Restcamp for overnight or few nights, also try the Chalet’s with private little splash pool.

Another splendid Namibian campsite! We have been so impressed on our camping trip. Oodles of space for our tent, shade, private toilet and shower, own electricity sockets. Beautifully maintained grounds. Restaurant / cafe attached for good value dinners, beers and breakfasts. Located in the small attractive town of Uis which has a petrol station and supermarket. Within striking distance of Brandberg White Lady.

The room were quite nice with the mix from bugalow and tent. FYI: The shower and bathroom are outside.
The furniture would need some maintenance and especially the shower was not working properly. The mosquito net on one windows was damaged.
Dinner and breakfast were good.
If you have trolleys be aware that you have to carry them to the bungalows as there is no path and no support from them.
The check in was also quite challenging as at first at 5:55 pm nobody was present. They had to call several people to know where we are staying.
The garden and ambient was really beautiful.

Excellent stay (1 night). The family room is great. Restaurant is very good despite some delay in the preparation because a large group ordered just before us.

We enjoy our one-night stay in the camp. Each camp site is very clean, well organized, with private toilet and hot shower. You also have everything for a barbecue. There is a pool.
The restaurant is also very nice (super cosy and good).
It's amazing how they transform a desert in an oasis :-)
The only "bad" point was that there is not so much to do around. It is thus an excellent place if you want to take a break on the road and rest.

I stayed in the luxury stone cottage at Daureb Isib and absolutely loved it. It was clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of Brandberg Mountain. There’s also a swimming pool at the campground. Just a short walk away is Cactus & Coffee Teagarden—a charming spot for a cold beer and great food.

The new chalet, with a splash pool, offers a great view of the Brandberg. It is modestly furnished but clean and has everything you need. I will stay there again.

Basic but great accommodation in the desert. We stayed in the twin rooms which were well equipped. Loved the little plunge pool on the veranda and the outdoor shower was very enjoyable after a hot day!
Breakfast and dinner were great at the on site restaurant.
Short drive to Brandberg and the White Lady which is definitely worth a visit. Would highly recommend!

Daureb Isib Campsite and B&B is a true gem in Uis, the gateway to Damaraland. Combined with the Cactus & Coffee Restaurant, it provides the perfect location with all the facilities required to have a wonderful stay. While the camp sites offer the best shade as well as protection against the wind for avid campers, their fairly new rooms with the most adorable individual splash pools, outside and inside shower and water cooler, are just what you need after a long drive.
We experienced Penny and John's hospitality and kindness at its best. We stayed three nights and the room was really generously proportioned, just like the bathroom and shower. Water is heated with a wood fired heater and you do not even have to bother with it as someone comes to stoke the fire twice a day.
We enjoyed the veranda — ours faced toward the Brandberg, a much-loved Namibian landmark. We used Uis as a base and travelled to Spitzkoppe for a day trip and to Brandberg for another day trip.
The campsite also has a lovely pool and on the last day, I saw that the restaurant also has a small pool to cool off in. Days in Uis might be warmer, but nights cool down quite a bit as Uis is only 116km via the C35 from Hentiesbay at the Coast.
The Cactus + Coffee Restaurant has a huge menu with meals from Breakfast to Dinner and anything in-between. We spent three very relaxing days and cannot wait to go back.

We spent a night at Daureb Isisb and found npt only one of the nicest, best equipped campsite in Mamibia, but also very friendly and helpfull staff.
Each campsite hat a roofmfor shadow, a private bathroom, tables and chairs. The pool is also very nice! And a nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Daureb Campsite! Our site had a shaded parking spot, electricity, and private ablutions – all clean, spacious, and just really convenient.
The pool was a great place to cool off, and the whole campsite had such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a simple place, but with lots of thoughtful little details that make it stand out.

We had chosen to stay at Duareb Isib (Cactus and Coffee) after liking what we saw on a youtube video.
We were not disappointed. We were lucky enough to get a site with a view towards the Brandberg Mountains and took full advantage of the power hook-up for our fridge and the private shower room.
After a cooling dip in the modest pool, we enjoyed an excellent dinner and, the next day, an equally good breakfast.
All of the staff were welcoming and happy throughout our stay.
