We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for us as we were close to both Swakopmund and Walvis Bay for tourist activities. The room was wonderful, especially the view out to sea. The bed was comfy and we had what we needed although it does have a kitchen and there were no plates etc provided. The food at the connecting restaurant, Salt, where we had included breakfast but extra dinners was very good although we noticed that despite not that busy, both evenings the food took quite some time to come out. The staff though were very helpful and friendly. Pricing was fine for us. We had a concern with the TV and the staff attended immediately to sort it out but was informed there were no channels and only Netflix or YouTube so that’s something to be aware of. Also, there was no AC in the room but the room was cool for us and it is quite cool at night so you could open the sliding door in theory. There was a hot/cold fan in the cupboard as well. As with most places in Namibia, there isn’t much public transport so it is best to have a vehicle when staying here. Overall, a very good two night stay with helpful and friendly staff and a comfy place to sleep with amazing views. There is a pool and spa but we were busy and didn’t use these facilities so therefore unable to comment.
Very beautiful hotel offering luxurious ocean-facing rooms with breathtaking views, especially in the mornings and evenings 🌊. It features both a rooftop sky restaurant and a ground-floor restaurant, adding to the overall experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
The hotel is perfectly located right next to the beach, just a two-minute walk to enjoy the sea—and the area felt completely safe, even at night when sitting by the ocean. A special mention to the receptionist who went out of his way to arrange food for us upon arrival, even though the kitchen had already closed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We stayed at Bay View for two nights and had included breakfast each day. We also ate dinner at extra cost. Overall we had a great time here especially admiring the room’s view looking straight out to sea over the beach. The room was great, it had what we needed though to others it could be missing some things. The room has a kitchen area but there were no plates or cutlery available. There is no AC but there is a fan with heating/cooling settling on it. The place was cool enough for us to sleep and was cold outside so we were fine. The TV only has YouTube and Netflix options too. There’s a connecting restaurant called Salt where we ate. The food was always tasty, well portioned and was a good price but we noticed that the service was quite slow even when it wasn’t too busy. It’s best to have transport as the hotel is outside of both Walvis Bay and Swakopmund and not easy to reach without a vehicle. The hotel is in a good location for all the water and desert activities that are available in the area.
