The place is very noisy. If you want to sleep well then look for something else. Prepaid electricity went off and took a wile to recharge.
Timo's Lodge did not meet the standards we were used to from other Namibian lodges.
The check-in was chaotic. We booked well in advance, but they couldn't find our reservation, didn't know which room to put us in, and had to make several phone calls before they finally showed us our room.
Parking is tight and we were lucky there weren't too many other guests with cars or it would have been a nightmare.
The apartment lacked electrical outlets. In one bedroom there was only one, and it was covered by one of the beds, so you had to find it first and then rearrange the furniture to use it. There was a night lamp on the table by the bed, but it couldn't be used because there was nowhere to plug it in within reach of its cord. The kitchen had only one plug, so you could only use one appliance (toaster, kettle, fridge) at a time, i. E. If you wanted to boil water you had to unplug the fridge. There was another outlet for the TV, but it was close to the ceiling so you couldn't use it.
The Wi-Fi did not work at all. And I mean 0%. I could not open a single page on the Wi-Fi.
The bathroom window had no curtain or privacy screen and the staff hung the bedding to dry right in front of the window. On the first day, I went to the bathroom and noticed that a maid was standing on a ladder right in front of the window hanging bedding and she could see bottom completely naked. We put a towel there so that we could shower and use the toilet in private.

I reserved 4 double rooms for 8 people on 1st of August. When I arrived at the guesthouse Timo started to be little nervous. After one hour he said that he forgot to keep the rooms for me! And was fully booked. After another half hour we sorted out, we stayed in 6 in a family room and a couple got one double room. According to the price he wrote me via email (3.000N$) I asked discount because we didn't get what I reserved and we slept on 6 in 2 rooms. He said 300 N$ discount. Avoid this man. I also discovered that I resells my reserved rooms to another group that paid in advance. Timo is a scam fory experience and he is a very unfair man.
