TaTe Village

I enjoyed my 1 day stay at Tate Village. The staff was very kind, helpful and patient with me. The room was very nice and they even provided a fan for me which I greatly appreciate. The amenities were good. They have a nice lounge area and bar but the music was a bit loud for an older person such as myself. The pool could have been cleaner, but it’s not a deal breaker and I would recommend the place for those who enjoy a relax stay.

Really appreciated the late check-in approval from Tate Village.
I checked in at 5am and had a few hours to rest before check-0ut at 11am.
Recommended!
Clean, secure and comfortable.
Bring your own lock for the locker.
Not far from the city centre.
Can walk or use the Leva app.
Oh. The bathroom.
It felt a bit insecure, since it’s just a curtain ~ kind of risky, haha.

Staying at Tate village was an amazing experience. Not only was the staff welcoming and kind, but was more than happy to befriend you and show you around Windhoek. It was a pleasure meeting everyone from the front desk, bar, security team, and sanitation staff. I hope to definitely come back to Namibia and again stay at Tate Villiage.

An amazing space that is always clean, safe, and fun. All the workers are amazing and nice and they make TaTe Village stand out from the rest. The renovated rooftop is also the perfect place to relax, catch the sunrise or sunset, and to appreciate the beautiful view of the whole city of Windhoek. My two month stay was amazing at TaTe Village and when I come back I will be there again!

Tate Village’s new rooftop bar is a standout addition to Windhoek. With breathtaking sunset views, a stunningly designed bar and terrace, and an affordable drink menu, it’s the perfect spot for a sundowner. Whether for a relaxing evening or a lively outing, this rooftop experience is a must-visit!

Very nice and clean for staying over for a few days before departing to the coast. The outside deck and bar gives you a beautiful sunset, sipping on a cocktail before going out for dinner. 24/7 Security makes you feel safe. The rooms are clean and gives you what you need.

This is an awesome place to stay in Windhoek Namibia. Would definitely recommend it.

I enjoy time at Tate because I get to catch the sunset and listen to good music. They also have a bar on the roof so that's a bonus hahaha:D.

I am disappointed with TaTeVillage. I was there for 4 days and paid by card. Their card reader reported an error twice, the third time it worked. Back home I noticed the 3x debit. After my request, money was transferred back to me after some time. TaTe Village kept 20 euros! Incredible!

My students really enjoyed staying at TaTe Village for 2 months. This place is within walking distance and a car ride, 1.5 miles, to the city center. The top of the hostel has a rooftop bar with nice social gatherings. The owner TaShi provides great customer service. He is Namibian, so it is nice to support locals in their business endeavors.

Excellent student accommodation that is walking distance from downtown. The staff members (bartender, cleaners) were always very friendly and attentive to the needs of guests. The property itself was very well-kept, and the rooftop patio area was excellent for watching sunsets and socializing. Overall, TaTe Village is an excellent choice for young people looking to stay in Windhoek for any period of time.
