Totally works! Really good value for the price. It was clean, showers hot and the kitchen is functional. Also you get your own private fridge in the room and enough storage space. A little hut to enjoy food outside is also there. Would go there anytime again.

Very warm welcome from the manager/owner. The place is near the city center which makes it ideal for walks & safety. In fact, the whole Windhoek is safe don't get me wrong. With its fair price, I recommend you book one of their rooms.

The owner was exceptionally helpful and very responsive. The room was basic but clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Ramblers twice, bookending our roadtrip around Namibia. While we booked it primarily for the price and proximity to our car rental office, we were impressed by the functionality and comfortability of the place.
It's simple, but provides everything you'd need for a short or long stay. The owner demonstrates outstanding customer services replying almost immediately to every question and solving problems everytime. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're in need of a comfortable, high-value base in Windhoek.

We stayed for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our time at Ramblers Self Catering Accomodation. The host is really friendly and explained everything we needed to know. There is a shared kitchen, that we used to prepare our dinner and breakfast. The main attractions are within walking distance. We would definetly recommend staying there :)

Very comfortable and clean units, we had an excellent stay and slept in comfy beds. The location is central and not too far from shops. The owner is kind, friendly, and very helpful. Good all-around experience; will definitely stay there again!

What a gem I you need a roof over your head and space to prepare a meal at a very good price!
It is one of the neatest budget accomodation that I have been in during our 5 week visit to Namibia. The rooms are spacious, and our matress was very comfortable. You also have a shower, basin and toilet. I loved the big surface where you can put toileteries and clothes. Nothing is lying on the floor.
There is only a bar fridge and a microwave in the room, but a well equipped, shared kitchen to prepare food. No oven. It is completely self catering. There are not coffee stations in the rooms.
It is also close to the CBD but the area was quiet.
Also no surprises. The owner sent us a video of the room as well as proving us with all the information necessary.
I totally recommend if you are looking for budget self catering accommodation.

We booked a double room, which was a great size and nice to use. The king size bed was very comfortable and the most comfortable sleep we had during our stay in Namibia. The location of the hotel is great, you can walk to the supermarket and have easy access to the city. The hotel is perfect. The owner was especially friendly and very helpful. They contacted us before our stay and gave us advice on SIM card and taxi etc.

This is very affordable place close to the city centre, does not offer much more than a clean bed, ensuite bathroom and shared kitchen, also parking inside the gate. If this is what you are looking for — the place is for you.

This accommodation establishment has clean rooms, fairly maintained, super friendly host & staff. Highly recommended for short stays. Stable & fast internet over Wi-Fi, Free parking space, Direct bookings at cheap prices, Significant environmental sustainability efforts (Solar geysers, LED Lights). CONS: No television, no aircon, no swimming pool, no front desk, paid laundry service. A simple & basic one, budget traveller's heaven in Windhoek, Namibia.

Ramblers Accommodation was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly. The guesthouse owner went out of his way to assist us with various matters. We were most grateful. An accommodation option that we can rely on with peace-of-mind if needed in future.
