Loved it! Gorgeous, uniquely designed accommodation! Make sure to have spare cash for utensils in the self catering accommodation units as cutlery boxes are hired out and not offered in rooms.

Great self catering accommodation, beautiful nature scenery. Definitely recommended.

Luxurious lodges with hansgrohe taps and waterfall shower, aircon, and both personal and group self catering facilities. Each lodge has a bbq and kitchen facilities with a fridge. It's a wonderful place near the Sossusvlei Dunes to spend a few days. Highly recommended.

Best place to stay when traveling in Namibia. Peaceful. Night stars takes your breath away.

Absolutely loved our stay here for one night to visit Sossusvlei. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the braai under the open skies. Great views of the starts at night and overall a completely different experience. But of a negative the next morning where it would seem other guests booked their drinks to our room. Maybe some better control at the swimming pool bar is needed. They called the bar man over and he confirmed we drank nothing from his bar. Other than this minor mishap. Great place to visit and would recommend it. We stayed here in Jan 2017.

I have much enjoyed our stay at the Dessert Quiver Camp. Especially the the stony hill nett to it, wich was a very nice climb with a great view. The bungalows are also very nice. Its great to be out in the desert! The internet is not good there, but then, does one really ned it everywhere?

We stayed here for 2 night. This was the perfect accommodation and only a very short drive to the entry of the dunes reserve. The price is must better then the camp next to the dunes and we even saw some wild animals during our stay. Open space and kids to play until late the evening. Nice swimming pool and definitely with the drive to experience this place.

Incredible location, views and within minutes of the Sossusvlei gate entrance.

Stunning place, excellent service, nice pool with bar and good Wi-Fi. Position is ok, just a few minutes drive from park gate. Each room is equipped with outdoor kitchen on private terrace with desert view — a highlight. Bathroom with no doors in the chalet — could be a problem for couples which are not really intimate.

What an amazing place in the middle of the desert. The room is so beautiful, big and clean. The pool and the bar are amazing, simply perfect to end your day. You can have breakfast and dinner at the nearby sossusvlei lodge or you can fill a paper and order some food to grill in your own barbecue and they will bring you everything. Very close to the entrance of the park to see Dead Vlei and the dunes.

Taleni Africa always our first choice and most favourite place to stay in Namibia. Desert Quiver has comfortable, beautifully appointed chalets, I love when you get more rhan you expect. The accommodation is self catering but next door at Sossusvlei Losge you can book a table for meals and the buffet selection is incredible and the food is always delicious.

So beautiful… close to all you want to see and do!

I have stayed here twice and love this place! Great braai areas and they let you order your braai food through them which is so convenient. So close to the main park gate. Clean, simple, and beautiful.

Wonderful location and cool modern Chalets.

An absolutely fantastic level of accomodation just outside the park entrance. Excellent facilities within your room and terrace for self catering and a great base from which to explore the surrounding Dunes and the Deadvlie Pan. That said, morning entry to the Pan will be hard from here but in all honestly I don't feel the mornings are any more advantageous than getting there to shoot the pan in the afternoon. Around the corner is the adventure lodge with awesome bar and restaurant along with the helicopter services which is a must do and cheap by world prices for an hour in the air.

Cabins with good distance, air conditioning and very clean; Recommended.

Amazing location! Glamping in Namibia Bar & pool were nice, tent/rooms were perfect. Outdoor kitchen was a big win!

An exceptional and unusual place in the desert.

The most awesome stay. Desert views with the best hospitality and great chalet layout and romantic setting! A must visit!

It is a beautiful clean and well maintained facility. Just a Shame you have to go out to eat approx. 2 kilometers. But the system is more focused on self-catering.

5 stars for the quarter and 3 for the kitchen, makes on average 4.

Great location, right by the entrance to Sossusvlei. A bit on the pricey side.

I went on a month-long safari throughout Southern Africa and Desert Qiver Camp is still one of my fondest memories. I absolutely loved the modern camps, private patios, and gorgeous pool. A MUST if you're looking for a place to stay in Namibia.

You can also get half board which is worthwhile. In the evening at the grill you can choose e. G. Zebra, kudu or similar, but 4 km to the neighbouring lodge. All great here, is brand new — since August 2015. I would have been happy about climate rather than fan. No sun protection at the pool so far… Except for the bar. Visually top, you open the door, stand in the desert. Good management.
