Honestly one of the best stays in Namibia. Even though the room itself is a bit basic, the view is unforgettable. You will definitely be impressed by the colors of the sky during sunrise and sunset. Also, if you enjoy stargazing, this is the place for you. You can even request firewood to light up the fire pit in front of your house. Nice breakfast/ dinner at the Sossusvlei Lodge. The only downside: there is no hairdryer in the rooms / reception.

Great place in the middle of desert with amazing view of mountains and wild animals. My room was lovely, big and all was perfect. You can relax in your room on the terrace or outside in the garden next to the pool. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. It is self-catering so everything you have outside your room, fridge, microwave, grill. You can go for dinner to next restaurant — 5 km, or grill by yourself. Internet is only in the reception. All experience was great — really recommended.

Had a lovely stay at Desert Camp. Everything was super clean. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful bathroom.
The outside kitchen is fabulous with an incredible view of the mountains. They offer, at no cost, a box of kitchen utensils that has everything you would ever want (including a cast iron pan! ) There is also a bbq!
I brought my own food, but for those who have not (or ran out in their long travel) they offer the ingredients and will bring to you by 19h.
They also have a pool where you can lounge in the hot afternoons and cool off.
The camp is 5 km from the entrance of Namib-Nankluft National Park.
