We had a great Time at Grootberg Lodge.
The biggest challenge was to climb up that mountain with our tiny 4x4 car.

We stayed at Grootberg Lodge for one night, but honestly could have easily stayed longer.

Just spent 2 nights in Camp Kipwe and whilst it was generally a lovely place to stay, there are a few things that could have made this a 5 star experience but sadly doesn’t.

That camp just took my breath away. It's incredible how it was built into the rock formation. Just imagining how much work must have gone into this is truly mind-blowing.

We stayed at the campsite of Ugab Terrace Lodge and enjoyed our time there very much. The toilet and shower facilities were very clean and easy to reach, which made the stay even more comfortable.

An excellent lodge in a beautiful location.

Location should get a 10 out of 5. What a spectacular place! It is one of those places that gets right into your heart. It is a feeling more than anything else.

This is not a review of Etendeka Mountain Camp but rather Etendeka Walking Trail which is run by the same owners.
We did the two-night option.

The owner is a magnificent person.
Staying on a farm is much more authentic experience from being on campsite or a lodge.

An oasis in the middle of the arid land. A great alternative for the busy touristic lodges in the area. Marian and Piet are great hosts alongside their wonderful staff.
