Agga Bed and Breakfast Hotel

I highly recommend that it's a nice hotel in Yangon. There are enough facilities in room as well as the hotel fees is not very expensive. Besides, the hotel is in downtown so that we can go around Yangon easily. Moreover, the staffs are totally dutiful and have good hospitality. Everything is good here such as room service, air-con, water… in fact the connection of Wi-Fi is good too. As for me, I really like Agga Youth Hotel and I appreciate it.

Agga Youth surely knows how to match your need. They have a dorm-like, private with shared bathroom and private with bathroom arrangement. Its location makes it super quiet at night assuring you to sleep as good or even better as you're at your own place. Breakfast is good too. Just try to stay so you can have your own personal experience about their hospitality.

Nice location near to Chinatown. Walking distance to city center. Very convenient.

This is good place/budget hotel for backpackers. Reasonable price and good location.

Really clean and modern rooms, super comfy bed! Good air conditioner, mini-fridge, TV, towels and toiletries provided. Amazing all you can eat buffet breakfast (eggs, toast, rice, noodles, fruit, juice, tea, coffee) on the rooftop restaurant.

For the price paid you should be able to get a nicer place. Agga B&B is old, our private room was decent but not nice at all, breakfast only coffee (no tea) and some ugly options for food. The night staff at reception was rude, like if he hates his job, not helpful at all… we tried to book bus tickets but after seeing his face decided to wait to the next day. We bookes with the staff from the next day and all perfect… he was super helpful.

Relatively inexpensive and very well located (in the middle of Chinatown). There is no luxury here, but you should not expect that in a youth hostel. The WLAN is above average fast for Myanmar.

The staff is friendly, the room is ok for the price and the breakfast is good. A good value for the price, and there is an affordable restaurant at the top with excellent fried noodles.

Receptionist said its ok to check in at 9am with FOC, but in reality when we arrived, they asked me to give extra charges because we arrived early at 9am. It is so rude.

The rooms are clean but the washrooms are too small. Everything worked fine the AC, hot shower, refrigerator etc and the breakfast is served on 9th floor as buffet.

Great location not too far from 19th Street BEER Street. The staff are very friendly and so helpful. Room big and clean and Wi-Fi always available.

Likely the most homy hostel in yangon, but it you want to go to a few most temple you need to grab a taxi which cost around 2000 kyat per go, altough the services is standart but worth every penny.

Rooms are basic, small, & quaint, but clean, quiet & comfortable. Staff is welcoming & do their best to help travelers. Wi-Fi worked great. Breakfast was better than expected. Centrally located and within hiking distance from train station. As far as "hostels" are concerned, this is an excellent choice. No frills, just good accommodations, and great staff.

Cheap for yangon city, good servive with great buffet breakfast, definitely recommending for backpackers and whoever is travelling on a cheap budget.

In the center of Yangon, not too expensive, fine compact rooms for backpackers/flashpackers. Includes breakfast.

Wish they cleaned that place more often. It was dusty. Location was ok near the main road. The staff was nice and tried to help you as much as they can. 3 breakfast options to choose from it was ok. Again wish they clean the place thoroughly.

Lovely place! I'm a fan of agga guesthouse and the B n B. Stayed in both in Yangon. The staff are always really nice, friendly, helpful, and know enough English. The brekkie here is a choice of 2 diff kinda noodles or egg and toast. Basic but delicious. Oh and the best part is we put in a request for an early check in after the long bus ride and got to get our room at 6AM! Instead of 2pm. How magical.

Wifi is ok. You can surf facebook, watch youtube video ok. Including breakfast. Tidy.

The location was great. The rooms were clean. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. However, the 3-bed room and the single room we booked both didn't have windows (luckily the smell was alright). Also, the beds were super hard and not comfortable.

Had a friend move to another hotel because the unprofessional male receptionist refused to help stop a rowdy party with hookers at a single room next door at 2.30 am. In the next morning complained abt it to another disrepectful female receptionist who snapped back at us instead of apologizing and who refused to bring both the hotel manager and the receptionist from last night. Amidst the dispute the secretary came out. Apologized sincerely and gave my friend a complimentary night. Kudos to her and giving it 3 stars for the sake of her! Was told the staff are new. I hope those two receptionists get better training how to be polite and learn what customer service is.

It's a simple hostel, but cheap and the staff is quite nice. I spent 3 nights in December 2016 and one in January 2017. The breakfast could be a bit better though.

Probably the nicest owner I ever met, but the place need a proper cleaning.

Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Hasn't got a big social area but people are chatty enough in the dorms.

I loved to sleep on a normal bed instead of a bunk bed. Everything was very clean, well located and the staff were very kind. The breakfast is also good. I highly recommend it.

Room had moldy smell, the bed sheets have been dirty and had mold stains, the bathroom was full of mold in the corner. We asked for a other room but that wasn't better so we slept in our inlet. Breakfast and staff was okay. Good dinner can you find when you get out of the Hotel turn left and have a look to the right corner — there you can find cheap but really delicious streetfood.

Not too far a walk to Chinatown or catching the circular train. Complimentary breakfast buffet, but show early as supplies dwindle towards closing. Staff very friendly & helpful!

Though the place is old, everything is working properly, elevators, lights, water, and the like.
During my stay the staff are very friendly and helpful. And its right in the center of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Had to move one of the two nights I booked and payed. When trying to check in for the second night, they told me that they don't know anything about it and I had to pay for the night again. Went to a different hostel instead.

Small rooms with no windows, meager breakfast & noisy foreigners stay there.

Good value for money but be aware. They tried to charge us extra for creating stains on the towels we didn't use because they gave them to us after we showed and used our own towels.

Single room is too small with a musty smell, but also to 23 the knife. Triple Room, 9 knives per person.
