Reviews of Sweet Inn
The average to poor reviews seem to be from 2017 and before, and I think there must have been some improvements in the service and rooms which considering the cost was excellent.
The breakfast was delicious with some standard options (scrambled/fried eggs or omlette and toast or pancakes and tea/coffee and lots of fruit), the Wi-Fi was mostly reliable if a bit slow.
The showers were warm but not hot and the fan (no aircon) in our room was barely switched on at night as the area is quite cool.
The staff are very friendly and have always been around when needed. They did not service the room during our 4 night stay but in SE Asia that's not at all unusual in budget accommodation unless you specifically ask for it.
Neat budget guesthouse! Very basic, but huge and clean rooms, and the breakfast was good each time. Dedicated and friendly staff. However, the location is a downside, especially for the rooms at the water — the boats are VERY loud and start going in/out super early.
