Warm, beautiful, close to the sea, simple or feels like home!

I spend here 9 magnificent days. Such a tranquil place. Location is marvelous and Päivi and the staff are superb! The surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. Easily could have been a lot longer here. Must come again some day.

Kipling's Bay is a really nice guesthouse owned by Päivi in Ngapali, Myanmar. In December 2017 it was not possible to book it via online websites, but email booking was possible. You can get their email from their Facebook page. Rooms are 40-45 dollars per night depending on how long you are staying. With this you get a room with mosquito net, own bathroom with hot shower, AC, good beds to sleep on and a great breakfast in the morning (bread, egg, rice cakes, fruits, filtered (! ) coffee etc. ). Staff is incredible helpful with everything! Rooms can be paid with cash (€, $ or kyat) when you arrive. Guesthouse is located between the two big main beaches, but just 300 meters from a better, quieter and smaller beach with couple of restaurants. I attached some pictures. You can also take public tuktuk's to main beaches with 300 kyat or rent a bicycle from Päivi. We stayed for a week here. The quiet, relaxed and authentic Myanmar atmosphere was something we were looking for, and this was a great place to get just that!

So lovely and quiet place. 2 minutes walk to the beach and Wi-Fi are free here. Breakfast is simple but so deligious. Room fees also not expensive if you compare with other guest houses around here.

A wonderful oasis of style and sophisticated hospitality.

What a delightful place to stay. We spent Christmas there; Paivi and her friendly staff gave us a warm welcome. The hotel's style is cool, the atmosphere is relaxed, the rooms are simple, comfortable and spotless. With a shady terrace on which to chill under the coconut palms and a paradise beach five minutes' walk away, what more could you ask for?

5 stars is not enough for this little gem that lays nicely hidden just few steps away from one of the sandy beaches of Ngapali. It is a true paradise and now when being almost 3 weeks home after one weeks stay in good care of lovely Päivi and her awsome staff, not forgetting Jack the dog, i'm allready planning a new trip to where I left a part of my heart. Jesu di mare.
