Royal Parkview Hotel

I recently checked into this hotel room 304 at 11:30 PM, and my experience was awful. The room had a pervasive, moldy smell, like fungus, that was impossible to ignore. It was so bad that I couldn't sleep the entire night. To make matters worse, the air conditioner couldn't be used because the remote didn't work. It's unacceptable that they didn't check these basic amenities before selling the room. Given the number of hotels nearby at the same price, I strongly advise choosing another option. This level of negligence is inexcusable, and I won't be returning.

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The furniture and bathroom were pretty musty. However, the location is excellent. You can easily walk to restaurants, downtown, or the national gardens.

Got a chance to feel the nature. Nice place to chill with beloved ones. Good hospitality, service plus great taste for food. Really love this place.

Rooms are nice with enough space and amenities to spread out all your belongings. Great bathroom. The hotel is located outside the city in a quiet area close to the lake. There are bikes for rent, e. G. To go to the botanical gardens, which is only a short bikeride away. Although, like everywhere in Myanmar they are way overpriced for what you get. The staff is nice, but barely speaks English, so don't expect any recommendations or info from them.

Nice place, good hospitality, good breakfast, and large ground area for children playing space.

We — a group of 12 — stayed at Royal Park View Hotel for 12 days. This is a very nice small hotel in a quiet neighborhood. It is within walking distance to the city centre.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff is very friendly and competent. They took care of us in a very professional way. Breakfast buffet offers a wide range of tasty food. The rooms are neat and well maintained. Room service was very quick and professional. Everyone in the group agreed that they would want to stay here when they come to Pyin Oo Lwin again.

This hotel is lovely… grounds impeccable, dining room nice, rooms a good size with private viewing out the many windows. A bit of a ways to walk, but doable. Close to the lake, near to park where you can get horse carriage rides, and about a 20-25 minute walk through interesting neighborhoods to town (watch for stray dogs).
With that said, the room had a very strong smell… like moth balls or strong room freshener which gave us both headaches. We finally found the culprit and cut it out and tossed outside. Breakfast buffet good.

We arrived 4 hour before check in expecting to leave our bags and explore a bit before lunch but they organised our room to be available in 5 minutes. We freshened up and reception helped us finalise our plans for the stay.
The room was larger than usual with all of the standard features. Lots of hot water and the bed was comfortable. The linen, while clean, was slightly discoloured.
The reception staff were helpful; organising a tuk tuk (15, 000 kyats/day), taxi or horse and carriage. We got a tuk tuk to the waterfall and market.
Breakfast is served in a nice setting with simple food.
