Hotel AKIMOMI

Even though the Wi-Fi is horrible expect for the reception and dining area, the rest of the hotel was great including the food which tasted good and at a good price while having lots of variety and different cuisines.
The rooms maybe small for some people but for me staying with my uncle and grandma was just the right size.
The service is great with kind staff, overall a very good hotel to stay in for a vacation/business trip.

Great view, and an affordable price. The area is quiet, suitable for people who love nature. Best for morning walks or exercises. The staffs were friendly and the food tasted amazing. The rooms could improve a bit more. It was better a few years ago.

I really liked my time at Hotel Akimomi. It felt very Japanese, even though it's not in Japan. The room was clean and simple, like a traditional Japanese room. It was cozy and I slept very well.
The people who work there were very nice. They helped me with everything I needed.
The hotel had a nice garden and pretty. It made me feel calm. The food was good too. I tried some Japanese dishes and they tasted great.
Hotel Akimomi is a good place to stay. It's comfortable and peaceful. I would tell my friends to stay here if they want a taste of Japan.

I went to this hotel with my family on Christmas 2024. It was very peaceful in this hotel. There are many trees and the buildings makes me feel like I'm in Japan. The staffs were very kind to us and the food was also amazing. The breakfast was fantastic too. I recommend eating Shan Noodles there because it tasted really nice. The Japanese food tasted very authentic and my family also enjoyed their trip here.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere was peaceful, with lush greenery all around, creating a serene and relaxing environment. The owner and his family went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable stay.
Being new to the area, we didn’t know much about the city, but they were incredibly helpful in arranging everything for us. They even connected us with their wonderful driver, who took us around and recommended must-visit places.
The staff were incredibly respectful, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly exceeded our expectations.
We had such a fabulous holiday and are already looking forward to returning to the city and staying here again. Thank you so much, Akikomi, for making our vacation so special!

We had a lovely time at Akimomi. The hotel is surrounded with beautiful garden and it was so peaceful to sit on a terrace and enjoy the view. People working there are very helpful and would do everything for us to have the best stay. The owner himself made us a proper Japanese breakfast which was absolutely fantastic and we felt so special. We'll be happy to come back when in POL.

Bad things —
We stayed at their “suite” over the holiday period. The suite room is actually no different from the normal room and overpriced. It has a boarded-up hallway that has no practical use. The bathroom is small, dark and dirty! The rooms are NOT soundproofed at all; can hear everything. The food at the hotel is terrible, even at inflated prices. Bad Wi-Fi.

This hotel badly need interior decorating. The hotel seriously needs to evaluate options for improving cleanliness for towel, bedsheet (offensive smell). There is a musty smell in our room. Wifi connection is very poor during our stay and no phone signal. Air conditioner, shower and toilet water spray is not working properly. The only thing I like this hotel is that the staffs were very courteous and respectful. Do not ever waste your money.

The drinks at the restaurant are EXPIRED and they just keep selling them.
We noticed after we had have them and when we told them about that they replied it was okay because it was 6 HOURS away from the exact EXPIRED DATE published on the can.

It is grate hotel, I am very happy with their customer care & service. Owner and staff also friendly. Hotel rooms and area are neat & tidy. So I pay 5star.

Very very small room with this price (about W-10fts L-10fts) … Both bed room and bath room are not sound proof and air proof… no exhaust fans in bath room so you will get a very bed smell from your bed… I can hear noise aircon fan sound from next room even at midnight. Service not even include a bottle of pack purify water and they will give you a big cup of water (not pack… I don't sure is it clean or not) … and finally I have to buy a very expensive sell water from hotel… by the way all the staffs are very good people especially breakfast staff…

We just spent two nights in this delightful hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like special guests. The grounds were lovely with a pond and gorgeous plants. I liked how the hotel was tucked away and quiet. Our room was very homey and comfortable. I can’t say enough about this hotel. The best part were the people who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. John was very kind and gave us so much information about the region. They also had a Japanese bath that was so nice to relax in after a day out and about. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is clean with peaceful environment. The room is very small and the shower is not fully functioned which took me long time to finished shower/bath. I feel that the room charge is not match with the facility they provides.
