Bagan Hotel River View has a nice, tropical ambiance. Inside the hotel compound itself are some of the ancient pagodas where you can have your own time to contemplate in silence. The rooms are good enough. Though a bit of sound proofing may be needed. The staff's service is great and warm. Because of its location, it is close to the ancient big temples of Bagan like its neighboring Gawdawpalin Phaya. There's also an ATM here as well. Overall, I had a pleasant stay here.
Quality of food is sometimes low. Price is high. 5 dollar for a beer is too much for Myanmar.
