Wow, Wow, WOW! We have found an absolute gem in Maputo! This small, trendy "boutique" guest-house cannot be faulted in any way. The attention to detail from the luxurious bed linen to the bathroom fittings, the open-air roof lounge with its self service honesty bar and buffet breakfast provide an absolute oasis in the heart of the insanity of Maputo city centre. Within walking distance from the promenade and famous train station, museums & art galleries and only a 20 minute taxi ride to the fish market, its location is ideal. We seriously recommend a 2 night stay to give you a full day of exploration plus time to relax by the pool, take refuge from the city and enjoy a sundowner on the roof garden. NuNu and Katia are extremely friendly, smiley, helpful and attentive. Everything is smart, squeeky clean and we absolutely loved it! Thanks guys!

The best place to stay in the heart of Maputo. Close to all historical monuments. Great, fresh breakfast everyday. Me and my friends had an awesome time in Maputo. Nuno and Katia are great hosts and their establishment is a rare gem.

This is a family home with individual rooms to let. The owners Katia and Nono are delightful and very helpful. Well set up and very organised it provides a good breakfast and a separate kitchen, the pool is shared with the family, there's an upper sun terrace with lounges and an honesty bar fridge with large table ans chairs, also another separate lounge area for guests. Very neat, clean and tidy. The room was a bit small with no desk to write at or chair to sit on but mine had a shared terrace with table and chairs. OK wi fi, It was stylishly decorated, very beige. My only negative was that it was a surprise to come into suburbia after a funky trip on Mocambique Island. I could have been in a Sydney North Shore suburb, Maputo is a very expensive place to eat with expense account businessmen catered for. All a bit too pretentious for me. I felt very safe there though and it was only a short walk to the main downtown area and sights. The large shepherd dog is a big softy.
