It is worth the 4 Stars of the Moroccan standard… The service is impeccable and the breakfast buffet is diverse and good.

A small 3 European star (well from the 4 stars claimed).
However, satisfactory room size and very correct general cleanliness.
The buffets are also correct but not very varied.
The air conditioning in the rooms is a plus.
For the shower: Hot water too hot and almost impossible to have cold water (room 216).
Good Wi-Fi at the front desk and restaurant. Very random in the rooms.

Good value for the average hotel.

In the course of a week pro training, comfortable room with bathtub WC mini fridge. Own.
Breakfast buffet Buffet dinner… not top lack of diversity and quality.

No one and not worthy of a hotel called 4 stars. Between the cockroaches in the rooms and the laundry that wrecked the clothes. The air conditioning is not working. Short to avoid.

Hotel in the centre characteristic but Old town. Old rooms and buffet meals not up to par. I would not stay here again.

Very good service. Well-kept rooms. Restaurant offering a varied and plentiful buffet. Nice terrace with its billiards (even if it misses the black ball! ). Free Sauna Relaxing But maybe not hot enough. Poorly trained staff to use it. Room with no charm but well soundproof. Nice view of a minaret.

Small but clean room Good buffet dinner. Overall I would say that the stay was pleasant albeit short.

The cleanliness is higher than the Moroccan standard. The service is scarce. The location is good.

Very nice as part of a professional trip of one week.

It is not as good as the price suggest. I did not like the first room offered bed sheet were dirty. The second was a little better. It needs to redo all the painting of doors repar handles A bad smell is felt in the air The worse breakfast options and quality of food I have ever experienced. However to mention a very nice staff at the restaurant. Juice was emty at 8 and never renewed. Charged at 95 dirham this is practically theifing Management need to improve breakfast vareties, add more quantities and better qualities of cheeses, bread, juices, … Change the bed sheets daily, air freshener, change you doors that are bad. Parking is inexistant practically.

I spent a night in this hotel. I liked its quiet and as well as the quality of the room.

I loved the buffet and the friendliness of the staff.

I feel so much disgusted about how they treated me. I made a reservation by phone to the responsible of reservations and then asked to confirm it with the price by email. Then when I arrived to Rabat after a long day traveling (arrived to the hotel at 23h) they told me there was no reservation on my name. I had to show them the email I've got with the confirmation and then they told be there was a mistake made and the the price they gave me was not correct, that the price I've got was for 1 night, not 2. Despite of admitting the error, they said there was nothing they could do, that I had to pay the double!
I don't know know if I'm wrong, but this is extortion to me. They took advantage of the situation, that it was late at night and peak season, so I won't have much chances. But fortunately I've got my laptop with me and were able to wind another hotel (Hotel Darna by the way) who was more than happy to receive me with breakfast included for more than half the price.
I won't recommend the Chellah even to my worst enemy. It is not well located, it's clearly overpriced, ZERO customer service and it's living just for the fame of what it once was long long time ago when there were just 4 hotels in the Rabat.

C is good life is good chellah…

The hotel is not far from the train station of Rabat city. Close to city center. Nice and beautiful hotel terrace.

I just can not believe what they did to me, Chellah, it was supposed to be a well known hotel in Rabat. I made a phone reservation and literaly said "I want to stay from the 1st of august and leaving the 3rd, 2 nights", and the receptionist (a woman) told me 718Dh. I we agreed to confirm reservation by email, so I wrote them to the email they provided me, then the Responsable de Réservations (Madame Addi) confirmed me and here I copy/paste what she wrote me: "Bien confirmé a718 dhs (inclus le petit déjeuner) ". When I arrived at the hotel after an awful trip from the north by bus and then taxi to the hotel, there was another receptionist, this time a man, and sais that I don't have a confirmed reservation so I had to forward him the email I had with the confirmation. After doing so, he sais that the total price is 1.436Dh! the double, that the price they confirmed me was per night. I complaint about it, he consulted a colleague by phone and agreed that it was a mistake from the Reservations Responsible but the price is still 1.436Dh. I felt so mistreated, I wonder if they would have done the same to a foreign businessman… Then I just found another wonderful hotel in the Medina called Hotel Darna, which I highly recommend you instead of this detestable, impolite and horrible horrible hotel with such an awful policy. Will never ever stay there and I'll do all my best to make all my friends family and clients to avoid going there.

Broken room amenities such as showers and windows complement a revolting breakfast and torturous music.

This hotel is NEVER 4 Star I had a bad experience with this Helnan Chellah Hotel. I had a confirmation for my reservation and it was paid but the hotel administration was not prepared. in my confirmation is written down "All taxes are included into this price" but they tried to get from me other taxes 18MDH per person per night. the batteries on the TV remote control were empty and no reaction after I gave the reception the information. Bad smell on the bed room Old TV device with very bad stream quality of channels. No German channels Very poor breakfast. No Parking for Guest. I'm requesting my money back.

Dated, small room and poor food.

The staff treat arab customers very bad specially in the resto, you must be western to be treated as guest!. The Wi-Fi service is very bad in the rooms.

Not so big room, but clean and comfortable. Two problem I found: the cleaners seem to be very eager to clean the room. They tried several times even after my refuse. And sometimes Wi-Fi reject my access.

One of the best. More than adequate.

Old and neglected. The staff has little experience and everything is improvised. The price does not reflect the care or facilities.

Dirty rooms, bad service, dinner and breakfast unimaginative and at 140, 00 Euros a night you can expect more.

Amazing place. A must see if your in Rabat.
