La Villa Nomade

A peaceful oasis in an otherwise quite stressful city. The staff looked after us with attentiveness, the room was great, breakfast even better, overall highly recommend. The location may be considered a little off prime but this suited us as it allowed for experiencing the proper Marrakech.

Riad La Villa Nomade is a hidden gem in the heart of Marrakech. The moment you step inside, the noise of the medina fades and you find yourself surrounded by calm, elegance, and authenticity.
The architecture, the scent, and the atmosphere reflect true Moroccan charm. The staff are incredibly welcoming — attentive without ever being intrusive — and make you feel at home from the very first moment.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the food is full of flavor and tradition. A perfect balance between intimacy and luxury — a place you leave with a genuine sense of peace.

Beautiful inside, luxurious and cozy. Service was attentive, polite, responsive and exceptional. We enjoyed a traditional Moroccan breakfast in the onsite restaurant, a highpoint of the property, which includes access to a full bar. There is a lovely rooftop terrace and dining area, an indoor pool and spa. Its a great place to wander around in, find a comfortable nook, and relax with something to read. Older, indeed, but well equipped. We have 2 more nights to stay here and we are looking forward to them.

Trying to pick somewhere that neither my husband or I have visited before, we plumped for Marrakesh. I looked on Tripadviser and this riad had fantastic reviews. Now I know why.
When we arrived we were warmly greeted and offered some mint tea, (a Moroccan traditional drink), and some lovely biscuits. We had managed to book the last available room and were given a suite, which consisted of a lounge and a large luxurious bathroom on the ground floor and a double bedroom on the first floor. The suite was thoughtfully decorated and we were extremely happy.
Although we had booked breakfast only, we did have dinner a couple of nights in the pretty courtyard and the food and atmosphere was really special. We had been recommended the Tanjia, a lamb or beef stew, which is a Marrakesh speciality, and this was delicious. If anyone enjoys a red wine then I can recommend the Moroccan Cuvee du President. Breakfast consisted of mint or black tea or coffee, orange juice, yogurt, fruit, bread and cakes and this really set us up for the day.
The riad is approximately a 10 minute walk from the souks.
We were contacted by the riad a few days before our arrival and were offered transfers @ 25 Euros each way. I would thoroughly recommend this because you are taken there in a comfortable vehicle. We did use the local taxis a couple of times and they were an “experience” to say the least! The riad is approximately 25 minutes from the airport.

We were fortunate to stay at Riad La Villa Nomade upon arriving in Morroco. The Riad is stunning and the staff are so friendly and helpful. After traveling various parts of Morocco since, I can say that the Lamb tagine is the best I’ve had and I tried many!

Great location, within walking distance to all Marrakech attractions. Very nice hotel, lovely and relaxed esthetic. We loved how traditional and peaceful it was!
The only things we didnt like were:
— the rooms are too dark, we couldnt see well our clothes and stuff. And if we open the windows for more light, the people see you on the ground floor.
— the breakfast is small and limited. It will do, but after 3 days it gets repetitive and boring. You only get a few moroccan cakes/breads and some jam with fruits. You have to pay for eggs, and pay for cappucino! For the price of the rooms, a more extensive breakfast should be included.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely riad! The combination of the beautiful courtyard, sunny terrace, small swimming pool and a charming Hamam makes this place well worth the stay. Combine it with lovely and helpful staff and you will definitely enjoy and relax here. I definitely recommend this place.

We spent 6 days at this hotel and were more than satisfied. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and warm-hearted. They gave us the best tips for our time in Marrakesh.
Our room was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was different every day and very delicious.
Overall, the Riad is highly recommended.

I stayed at the Villa Nomade last april 24, and I particularly appreciated the warm welcome, the kindness and professionalism of the team. It is a true haven of peace and refinement nestled in the heart of the most authentic part of the old town. Last, but not least : one of the best restaurants in town!

The Villa Nomade is a magical spot. Such a lovely surprise when you enter and find this calm haven beautifully decorated. The staff are just lovely. Our suite was fabulous complete with sunken shower. Out travel agent had wanted us to spend 2 nights here but we had insisted that we only wanted one as we were only passing through on our way south. We were wrong! The place is lovely we should have spent 2 nights here so as to really profit from it. We were slightly disappointed by the restaurant, which didn’t feel was at the same level as the hotel. The room is probably the least attractive of the hotel (this relative as the hotel is really superb), it didn’t feel special — you cannot see outside and the food was fine but was cooking rather than cuisine. We would still return here though if ever in Marrakech. Nice to find a small pool and a lovely roof terrace.

Riad La Villa Nomad — a true gem among Marrakech hotels. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by incredible hospitality and care. The magnificent design, blending traditional Moroccan style with modern amenities, made us feel like we were in a fairy tale. Every corner of this hotel is filled with an atmosphere of luxury and tranquility.
The spa treatments were top-notch, and the culinary masterpieces prepared by the chef left unforgettable impressions. The service was unparalleled — every wish of ours was anticipated and fulfilled with a smile.
The hotel's location near the main market, La Medina, added convenience to our stay, allowing us to easily immerse ourselves in the city's authentic atmosphere.
Staying at Riad La Villa Nomad was truly a magical experience that we will never forget. We thank every member of the staff for their warmth, professionalism, and effort to make our stay unforgettable. 5 out of 5 stars without a doubt!

La Villa Nomade is a treasure hidden in the small streets of the Medina. You only have to open the entrance door to discover you arrived in a magical place. The ambiance is very relaxing, all the neutral colors and natural materials will make you feel at peace. As an interior decorator I have an eye to see how perfect this place is designed. Every detail is just perfect. And not only the rooms, also the common spaces are decorated as it would be a private home. Not one room is the same as the other. The service is outstanding, discrete and ready to serve you. You start your day with a delicious breakfast, dinner is served in the patio, the hanging lamps will give you the impression you are in a movie of 1001 nights. Be prepared to eat to much, you simply can't resist.
After wandering around in the souks, visiting the museums you can relax at the swimming pool, have a hammam or massage, all beauty treatments will make you feel rejuvenated.
I can't wait to go back… for a forth time, it feels as coming home when I arrive in Villa Nomade.
