Riad Beldi

The staff at Riad were really lovely and tried their best to help us out, which was great. The riad itself was super clean and comfy, and the breakfast was delicious! They were also really welcoming and hospital.
However, we did have a big issue with the location. It's tucked away in a maze of small, unsecured streets, and honestly, getting to and from the riad was quite stressful. We were actually harassed by groups of men on several times on our way, and they even followed us right to the door.
When we raised these serious concerns with the person in charge, they unfortunately stated it wasn't their problem, which made us feel like our safety wasn't a priority for them. We ended up reporting the incidents to the police and made the decision to leave a couple of days earlier than planned because we simply didn't feel safe. Adding to our frustration, the riad's description mentioned a nearby street where taxis could drop us off, which was a key reason we booked this particular accommodation. However, this turned out not to be the case, and we felt this was quite misleading. To our disappointment, the riad refused to provide any refund for the unused nights.
So, while the riad itself has some nice qualities, the location really let it down in terms of safety. Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of booking it might not be the safest spot. Maybe look at other places in a more secure area.

The hotel is very clean and organized. The service is so good and we were really well attended. Also, the rooms are really spacious.
The breakfast is very good and they serve you typical Moroccan food and tea.
It is a bit far from the city center though, but with a 20 minutes walk you get there.

Great place to stay, in a very quiet and residential part of the Medina. The host was really amicable and ever so helpful.
Breakfast was nice in the morning with fruits, tea, local bread but only thing which was a small inconvenience was the distance to the main square but apart from that great place.

We had an amazing stay at Riad Beldi. Everyone was so helpful providing directions, recommendations and booking activities and taxis to and from the airport! The Riad was beautiful and all the streets were lit very brightly — as a group of four girls we felt very safe. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delicious and varied each day! We very much recommend staying here when visiting Marrakesh!

Really Beautiful Riad, and the staff were amazing especially Yassin and Ami! Breakfast was really refreshing every morning. However, the Riad is located in an area that is not that safe when you are a group of young girls and we had to get the staff to walk us too and from our taxi as we did not feel safe at all. A couple of nights we stayed in and ordered food because of this, however in the day time it wasn’t so much of a problem.

Very friendly staff, very hospitable and went above and beyond to help us. Very friendly, knowledgable and just good people overall. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Mustafa in particular was very helpful!

If the hotel weren't included in a guided tour, I would not have chosen the riad. As a gym buff this is like the number one why I would not choose it but now on with the review…
Positive:
— the location where the hotel is, it's quiet.
— close to a market if someone wants to visit it.
— you get Moroccan breakfast with Moroccan bread.
— you get a tea as a welcome gift and some biscuits.
Well that was it…
Negative:
— the communications were difficult. No English no German and a little bit better but still worse French.
— the breakfast, yes it's Moroccan but still, it's difficult to get more. The variety is limited in my opinion very limited. No eggs… that is also a no for me.
— the room has no TV.
— the hotel has thin walls.
— and to get in and out you always have to ring the front door bell.
— the safe had no batteries and wasn't working.
— you onky get once fresh water as a welcoming gift.
— I didn't feel so so safe in that area of the city (old area) so while there is nothing else to do, we stayed in our room.

Very nice experience. Clean and comfy room. The Riad is also really beautiful with friendly staff. Omar is very kind, he even paid took us to the taxi and paid for us since we didn’t have any cash. Really appreciate it! Don’t hesitate visiting this amazing Riad.

My friends and I have been staying in many places throughout our Morocco trip and Riad Beldi was definitely my favorite. Located in the heart of Medina in Marrakech and it has very clean ambience with great and helpful staff. The first Riad that actually clean our room the next morning when we went out to explore the city. It’s only less than five minutes walking to the Porte Bab Taghzout where we can find taxi. Mr. Omar and Madam Hanan (I’m sorry if I mentioned it wrong) were two people that helped us a lot with direction, food delivery, and even laundry. It was very pleasant to spend two nights at the Riad. I would highly recommend this place.

Riad Beldi is a little Oasis in Marrakech, very petite but with beautiful interior, modern and clean rooms, a terrace where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. 100% recommend. Omar and all the staff is really attentive and helpful with anything that the guest needs.

We highly recommend Riad Beldi — the place is really comfortable and very stylish and in a convenient part of the Medina. There is a beautiful courtyard and a very comfortable roof terrace where we were served a good breakfast. The staff were very helpful and arranged to collect us and return us to the airport, printed our boarding passes and helped us with directions. We really enjoyed our stay in wonderful Marrakech and at the excellent Riad Beldi. Thank you!
