Riad Twilight

A calm and nice place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Hot water ran as it should. We had a nice and tasty breakfast in the courtyard. The courtyard has a fabric roof which lets the light through, but stopped the heavy rain we had.
All I all a nice place.

Had a wonderful stay here. The two ladies (Fatima and…) who served our beautiful breakfast every morning were so nice and the food fresh and delicious. Like all the Riads in the Medina, access is basically in an alley but it opens into a beautiful place. Dont miss out on sunrise/sunset from the roof.

Marrakesh had many Riad, we tried Riad Twilight where 7 minutes walk to Tinsmiths Square. Good local for shopping and go to Palace.
The staff keep smiling and helpful.

5 stars. I stayed here just for 1 night in October and it was lovely. I arrived a little early but my room was already ready. They rushed around making me a welcome mint tea, and biscuits and made me feel very welcome straight away.
The room was lovely. Basic but really lovely. It had air conditioning, smelled lovely, and was very clean. Wi-Fi works very well, and I was fast enough to download movies. There is air conditioning/heating.
Location is correct on Google maps. A little bit of a walk from a road but easy to find.
There is no lift and my room was on the second floor so just to bear in mind if you have mobility problems.
There was also a lovely roof terrace to sit out on. I didn’t use it but it looked very nice, and my room was off of the terrace.
I tried to book a second night here when I arrived back in Marrakech but they were sold out.
Would definitely stay again.

Small oasis in Marrakech! Rooms are beautiful and clean and the staff is amazing. Such nice people! Great breakfast. It's a bit of a search between all the small alleys getting there from the square, but very worth it. Not recommend if you are allergic to cats, but I think the whole of Marrakech would then be not recommended 🙈

Absolutely perfect in every way. The staff are wholesome and welcoming. Breakfast is decent, and the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated.
A special thanks to the lady on the morning staff. I stayed for two days, and on the day of my checkout, I accidentally left my wallet on the breakfast table. After I left the building, she ran after me for almost 10 minutes until she found me in the market. Only truly genuine people would do that. Thank you very much, madam.

We were excited about our stay at this riad in Marrakech, but it turned out to be disappointing. The staff were nice at first, but things went downhill. We accidentally left our shoes at the riad, and when we called to ask about them, the staff denied having them, but it turned out they had kept them.
We also found bugs in the bread basket during breakfast and dinner, which was very off-putting. On top of that, one of the rooms had a terrible odor.
It’s a shame because the riad had potential, but these issues really affected our experience. We hope they fix these problems for future guests.

Lovely Riad made special by the hosts. Nothing was too much to ask, whether it was a take away breakfast on our last day (05.45) or a meeting with a local artist for an authentic painting.

Nice and clean rooms. Mr. Aziz and Mrs Soumia very attentive and thoughtful to all guests.

Perfect little, quiet riad close to Bahia palace, in the middle of all the business that is Marrakech. Wonderful facilities and most of all, very nice people working there. Soumia is a terrific host and an incredibly nice person overall. Highly recommended.

This was a last minute booking based on availability and some reviews.
Riad Soumia surpassed all our expectations by a long way.
It's located at the end of a less than pleasant alley but Aziz organised a transfer which took us right there. The location is ideal and there are many things to see very nearby, Bahia Palace and Badi Palace just to name a couple.
The Riad is a typical open courtyard with rooms around. Cool and tranquil with birds visiting the trees that grow inside. It is beautiful — see the photos.
Our room was lovely. The shower area is just partitioned off but raised. Air con. No TV, we didn't miss it; it would be out of place!
There is a roof terrace around the courtyard opening. There are covered areas and areas to sunbathe. It wasn't too hot when we were there but I imagine when it gets really hot it would be nice to be up there. See photos.
Breakfast is served in the courtyard and is a real treat. Finish this and you will be good until dinner. Beghrir and I think Harcha were breakfast breads, others too. Served with jams and honey. Delicious yoghurt and cake too. Just look at the photos and be jealous.
We had a lovely relaxing time — Riad Soumia is a haven of tranquility in the surrounding chaos.

I booked Riad Soumia last minute as my plans had changed. Finding the Riad was a bit difficult as Google maps showed it was down a different road. The Riad was located down a side road which was full of stray cats and to get to the Riad you had to walk through a road full of rubbish and a homeless person.
They were very welcoming with mint tea and delicious biscuits. I was shown a map of the area and shown the roof terrance. The Riad and the room were very nice. The breakfast was delicious and very filling.
The Riad was in a good location for visiting Dar Si Said museum, Bahia Palace and El Badi Palace.
The negative, I had to leave at 7am for a tour and was told they wouldn’t be able to provide breakfast, with some negotiation they agreed to give me some pre-prepared food. Also the welcome email said they can prepare dinner, I asked at around 3pm if I could have dinner that evening, and was told it was too late, then moments later they said okay but at €25, which is ridiculous!
Overall my stay was nice.

We recently spent 4 nights at Riad Soumia with our daughter and it was a super nice stay. It was very convenient to use the baby cot. Since our daughter is only 18 months old, we spent our evenings at the riad where we could have our diners. They were delicious, prepared by Soumia who is an excellent cook: the Moroccan meals were extremely tasty & very generous.
Of course the breakfasts were also amazing, and different every day!
Everything was super clean & the rooftop very nice to chill.
Aziz took a great care of us and overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved this riad. We telephoned to start with. Aziz was friendly and informative. He welcomed us with tea then showed us maps and gave us information. The rooms were delightful, really well appointed. Breakfast was to die for. There was always someone around and Aziz greeted us personally each evening. The alleyways to it look scary but they’re not. You have to overlook that knowing that you’re about to enter a beautiful riad. Gréât views from the rooftop. The riad is near to Palace Bahia but it’s total tranquility once inside.

A lovely welcome and very comfortable stay. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely breakfasts served on the patio. The riad is also very central, less than 5 minutes from Bahia Palace. Azziz is a very good host with lots of information and he was always around.
