We had an amazing stay at Riad Star. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Mourad, who went above and beyond to organize private transport for us, it made everything so easy and stress-free.
The location is perfect, right in the Medina and within walking distance to everything. Breakfast was also delicious and a great way to start the day.
Overall, a fantastic experience, highly recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay in Marrakech. The room was clean, comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. From the first moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. I would especially like to mention Mοurad, who made a very positive impression on us. During a two-day excursion we had planned, he even sent a message to check if we were doing well, without knowing that we would actually be away. This gesture showed genuine care and hospitality.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and always available to help whenever we needed something. We would definitely recommend it.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Riad Star in Marrakesh. We visited last month to celebrate my birthday, and the experience couldn’t have been more special. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality were outstanding.
Mourad and Ali truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. For my birthday, they surprised me with a cake and made the whole day feel so personal and special — a gesture we’ll never forget.
The Riad itself was beautiful and peaceful, and the warm, genuine hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. If you’re looking for excellent service, heartfelt hospitality, and a truly memorable stay in Marrakesh, I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. 🥰 🌟

We enjoyed an exceptional week stay at Star Riad. The room we stayed in was beautiful with Morroccan aesthetic. The immersion experience is, in my humble opinion, the only way to experience Marrakech. We spent most of our time at the Star Riad because we intended it to be the most important experience of our Morrocan adventure and it did not disappoint. We stayed in during the heat of the day rinking mint tea and had our dining / shopping experiences in the evening. I enjoyed a private massage and hamman at the Riad. We would like to express our gratitude to Ali, the Riad manager for his attentiveness and hard work on the guests behalf who were a variety of different cultures and expectations. He is patient, knowledgeable and works with staff any time needed to ensure smooth guest services. Mourad supports the guests and staff and his ability to manage was evident by the smooth transition during Ali's days off. We would also like to express our appreciation for the ladies who cooked breakfast and cleaned each day. The food was delicious, with a variety of items served including what we considered excellent coffee. Lotsa smiles and always, “Did you sleep well? “ For our sleeping preferences, the mattress was excellent and we did sleep well! I would recommend ear plugs at night if you are a light sleeper. We always travel with a small “white noise” machine and we had no problem with late arriving guests or early morning go-getters.

The nicest staff — it's what makes it warm. They will come find you. Help you with getting there, things in town and ensuring next pick up happens.
Hard to find so look carefully — although that is everywhere in the old Medina.

The Riad Star is a beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina. The rooms and facilities are beautiful. The staff take amazing care of you, especially Mourad, who went above and beyond to take excellent care of us. From arranging transport, dinner, reservations, trips, guides and taking us to our collection point when being picked up. We had Mourad’s contact number if we ever got lost and needed him. It’s the personal touch that really matters. The Riad has a beautiful terrace and you get the most gorgeous Sunsets from. We had dinner at the Riad too which was also excellent. We are hoping to have another stay at the Riad Star soon.

Amazing Riyad Beautiful interior designs and very well trained staff who spoke perfect English. Nothing was too much and they went above and beyond on every occasion.
I can't speak highly enough of Riyadh star and their staff.

So pictures won’t tell you this but this Riad is poorly maintained, with untrained staff. Rooms aren’t cleaned or even cleared of cups each morning and the staff can’t make a basic omelette. The dining area is dirty with bird droppings everywhere and the drainage is terrible in the bathrooms.

Wholly impractical if you have small children, and yes they are friendly but that doesn’t fix much. Best thing about it is its location. We walked to most places from here.

The Riad is just gorgeous and it’s the staff that make it extra special. Fatima and her team of lovely ladies made us the most delicious breakfast each morning which meant we didnt need to eat again until dinner. The staff are so welcoming and helpful if you ever need advice on a restaurant booking or if you get lost in the souks.||You are so close to the souks here but as soon as the front door closes it is a calm oasis and absolutely gorgeous to do some sunbathing on the roof top. ||The place is spotless and the touches of Josephine Baker are everywhere so it was really interesting to learn about the history of the building. ||We also booked for local lady to come and do a hammam and massage in the riad which I would really recommend. ||Do not hesitate to book Riad Star, we will certainly be coming again .

Ali and Khaled — these 2 people make staying at this property THE MOST best experience, especially if you are traveling with family and kids… Inspite of the location inside of Medina alleys, they walk you through until you feel confident and comfortable. Reachable with a call away.

Awesome place to stay if visiting Marrakesh. I hope they remain the same so we’d like to visit again with the rest of the bigger family inshallah.

Ali and Khalid are very helpful and awesome with our stay. Best experience and stay here. Close to most attractions and to the bazaar. Best quality service you can get from this hotel would love to come back again in Marrakech. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is very friendly and excellent service.

It was fabulous we were met at the airport then met at the gate and we're taken to the star. The riad was absolutely beautiful. Abdou and his crew were fantastic and all the girls. We had 2 suites which were very comfortable spotlessly clean and equipped with everything that you needed. The breakfast was varied and delicious and fresh. We had house robes and slippers in the rooms as well. The beds were very comfy and clean sheets everyday. Shampoos creams in the bathrooms were beautiful. Excellent hammam on the roof top plus you can eat your meals which are freshly prepared for you and watch the sun go down. Guides were offered to us but we went alone where we saw the souks museums and plaza and got lost. But you don't have to be afraid as security there is 100% and we never felt at risk at any moment. The people were really friendly and were happy to help even giving us history about Marrakech. But back to the riad star. We can't wait to go back again. It was 100% in everything. You couldn't wish for a better place to stay. Also there is a pool there which my grandson thoroughly enjoyed yesterday the riad star is a haven of peace homeliness and friendship. Fabulous place highly recommended and a very big thanks to Abdou and Khalid perfect in everyway.

We had a wonderful happy stay here, it was really interesting reading about the history of the Riad Star.
The staff were absolutely amazing so friendly, so helpful and made us feel so welcome.
If we are in Marrakech again we would definitely book to stay here again.

We were originally due to stay here September 2023 but sadly the earthquake hit four days before our arrival and so we rebooked for this September.
I honestly cannot rate this accomodation, its staff, its owners and the food highly enough!
Where to start? The Road is pretty special… it’s not ultra luxe but it’s very very good, spacious and comfortable. Everything has been thought of and considered. Firstly they have their own app which is brilliant when you are planning your trip but also whilst you are there and you can’t use your mobile Wi-Fi then the app allows you to transverse the medina and can use their live map function… so when you get a bit lost (and you will) you can find your way back.
The rooms — we had The Ebony room with two double beds, one in a mezannine plus a little lounge area and two bathrooms. This was perfect — spacious, well equipped, lovely showers and toiletries supplied plus amazing air conditioning (it was about 98 degrees outside! ).
The breakfasts were delicious with fresh bread, fruits, eggs of your choice, pancakes, preserves and juices — served at your leisure wherever you wanted it! So we had it on the roof terrace early one morning when it was cool, and then as brunch another day after a morning out at Jardin Majorelle, and then once in the room. We also enjoyed dinner on our first night — lamb tagine, vegetable tagine, couscous, various salads and veg and tasty fresh breads. It was honestly some of the best food we had in Marrakech.

My stay started off rocky when no one was there for my pre-arranged airport pickup; however, my experience soon got better when I got to the riad. The service at the hotel is amazing and the staff are truly so kind and committed to making your experience great. Breakfast here is definitely the star of the show and I LOVED eating on the rooftop each morning. Solo female travelers beware of the VERY sketchy location. The riad is located in a twisted corner of a forgotten alley, so I wasn’t comfortable leaving after dark. Overall, I was happy here but I wish the location was better!

My family and I spent an afternoon at Raid Star doing a cooking class. Including selecting dishes from their delightful cookbook, shopping for the ingredients, preparing the dishes, chilling on their rooftop terrace while the tagine cooked, he eating the food we prepared.
