Riad Safa

The staff at this Riad are very kind and helpful and the wonderful Samira is an exceptional cook who treated us to lovely breakfasts and delicious dinners.
Sadly, the Riad itself looks tired and cluttered and poorly maintained.
And at night the smoke from barbecues from surrounding restaurants lingering in the room is very unpleasant.
Bring earplugs.

This Riad is simply the best even before we arrived. Abdul, the manager, was helping us to get the most out of our stay.
We were made to feel welcome by all the staff who worked very hard every day to ensure our stay was first class. Each time we asked for advice, the team knew the answers and were able to assist us. From local knowledge where to eat, where to go and even arranged a tour guide for us who was brilliant at showing us round the Souk's. The rooftop terrace is lovely and peaceful with plenty of shade and sun.
The location is ideal for exploring the Medina and should we come back would have no hesitation in where to stay.

I would like to express my best opinion regarding the service and understanding of the needs of your guests. Always friendly, open, ready to help, hey are responsive. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Marrakesh.

Incredible riad in the middle of the medina. We loved everything, the rich breakfast, the chic decor and the chance to chill out on the rooftop terrace and use the plunge pool after a day in such a chaotic city. Special thanks to Mohammed, Abdel, Hassan and all the amazing ladies for their caring and amazing service.

Amazing find! We stayed here for 4 nights and loved the place. It is quite hard to find down a few alleyways but the manager organised a transfer from the airport and collected us on the street to guide us in after our flight. The staff were incredibly friendly, breakfast was good and the pool/lounge area on the roof is such a nice escape from the busy streets.
Easy walking distance to all the main sights and the manager explained how to get everywhere when you arrive, even provide us with a map! Will definitely be coming back if we ever visit Marrakech again!

Great accomodation! Rooms tidy and clean, well designed with good vibe. Staff friendly and very accommodating to guests. We loved the terrace with beautiful view. Overall very happy. Thank you for making our trip very pleasant experience!

Everything about our stay was brilliant!
Abdel and the team did a great job if making us feel at home, whilst giving us great advice and tips on how to spend our time in Marrakech.
The Riad itself is beautiful, with clean white minimal decor all around, giving a great sense of peace and quiet from the outside.
The area is just outside of the busy part of the Medina, providing a great respite from the hustle and bustle. We were near the morning call, which was loud, but not a problem and it added to our cultural experience.
The rooms are a decent size and the beds are SO comfortable.
The breakfast area on the terrace was great and just enough to get us going for the day!

Abdel and Mohammed (and all other staff) were the perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful with really useful information on how to navigate our stay in Marrakech.
The Riad is beautifully decorated, the most peaceful place to relax after a busy day out in the Medina. The rooftop area and pool were especially good for this!
The room was/had everything we needed — private, quiet, great shower, mirrors, hairdryer, lots of plug sockets, etc.
All the food was great, we even had a lovely meal prepared for us at our very late arrival time!
The location is slightly quieter than some, but still a short walk to all the main attractions and easy to find your way to and from.
Only a minor thing and definitely just personal preference, but we didn't find the pillows the most comfortable.

Showed us how to navigate through the city, managed to send the driver to pick us up from the Airport and return transfer aswell.
Rooms are clean and spaceful for a Riad.
On the street iw was very hot, how ever inside it was quiete and fresh.
There is a recepcionist all night so if you need anythubg they can sirt it out.
There is a hammam (Morracan bath, not vapor) some small pool inside the Riad and on the rooftop.
The only inconvinience is that it’s close to mezquita, and in the morning you can hear it.

Riad Safa felt like a home away from home. Abdel and Mohamed were very kind, welcoming and helpful. The riad organized our airport shuttle and met us at the drop-off spot and walked us to the riad (which would have been a little confusing the first time around). The riad is located in a more residential area but was very easy to get to from the square/souks. While Mohamed worked on our check-in, we were offered the typical Morrocan tea with cookies. The riad itself was simple but very calming, offering a place to relax after a long day out and about. The room was very clean and the daily housekeeping was fantastic. The breakfasts were always consistent and a fantastic start to the day (breads, crepes, cheeses, various spreads, coffee/tea, orange juice, yogurt, fresh fruit). We opted for the riad's dinner on our first night in Marrakech and it was very good (salad, breads, briwates, orange/carrot juice, chicken tagine, and an avocado/fruit pudding). The rooftop pool was lovely for cooling off in the evening and watching the sunset.
All in all, we would highly recommend Riad Safa. A true gem.

Fabulous riad, lovely rooms, gorgeous breakfast, great roof top terrace, the staff were all so welcoming and Abdel was so helpful and knowledgeable, would definitely stay there again.

We took a 3 night stay as a group of 6 friends. Abdel and his team made us feel like royalty. Our rooms were amazing, so clean and excellent attention to detail. Abdel took time to show us how to navigate around the Médina and pointed out some places to eat, all of which were amazing (we tried every single one of them). We had our first evenings food served in the riad which did not disappoint and every breakfast was perfect. The outside space was like being in our own private villa with us being served both teas, coffee, wine and beer in the sun. Abdel was excellent when our return transfer did not show and ensured we got to the airport on time. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking of booking this Riad. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow, we just arrived back home and are still overwhelmed by the kindness of the good people of Riad Safa!
The rooms are beautiful and super clean, the rooftop is a lovely hide away from the busy streets and the hospitality is outstanding. (to get a birthdaycake on my birthday was such a lovely treat! )

Speaking some french helps, everyone very friendly and helpful. Close to everything you would want to see in Marrakesh. Very relaxing in amidst the noise and chaos.
