Riad Saba

Thank you to the staff who were very welcoming. We only got Jalal's name but all the team were very nice and helpful. A lovely Riad, very traditional, walking distance to soukes, square and restaurants. Best sleep I've had in a long time! Lovely room and shower. And roof terrance to relax, also, breakfast good too. Recommended!. ☺️👍

Our stay in Riad Saba was delightful. The riadis verry traditional and is a haven of peace and tranquility in the Medina. It is very well a few paces from a small square, where it is very easy for taxis is to pick up and drop off passengers. Many of the streets in the Medina are too narrow for vehicles.
The owner, Gabriel, was very welcoming and informative. Aziza, Khalid, Abdjalil and Muhammed served up breakfast every day with a smile and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. They gave us information on every aspect of life in Marrakech. Aziza and Khalid called taxis for us and helped us book entrance tickets on our phones.
We would highly recommend Riad Saba.

Extremely welcoming staff, great breakfast. Very accommodating and polite. Very pretty and relaxing atmosphere at Riad Saba. Very short walk ~5 minutes to main square inside the Medina. Accessible. Very lovely getaway spot and highly recommend! Cannot fault the staff or facilities at Riad Saba.

I never leave reviews, but I have to for Riad Saba and the staff Aziza, Mohammed and Jalal were FANTASTIC. Super friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was lovely. Conveniently located in the Medina. Highly recommend you stay here when you’re in Marrakech. A++++

We stayed 6 nights at Riad Saba. The atmosphere is excellent with authentic style rooms, gorgeous & breezy courtyards, and a beautiful terrace where a delicious breakfast is served every morning. The location is only a 25 minute drive to the airport and a perfect walking distance from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the stunning souks, museums, and palaces of the old city.
But what I appreciated most about Riad Saba are the friendly staff, who embodied true Moroccan hospitality. There’s the maintenance & janitorial staff who greeted us with wide smiles and always paused to ask us if we needed anything. There’s the thoughtful Abdeljalil who engaged us daily in conversation, laughs, and made breakfast a time to look forward to (please let us know when you write that book! ). There’s the kind Mohamed who always greeted us with a smile, recommended places to see, and ensured our comfort and safety. And there’s the welcoming Aziza, who made sure we were cared for from the moment we arrived until our very last day, and who always had us laughing with a lighthearted story.

A beautiful Riad, the room was lovely and the service was outstanding. A really lovely place to stay. The staff members helped with printing a ticket we desperately needed before leaving. They also carried our baggage up to the room and suggested and booked outings for us.

We stopped in the Riad Saba for 4 nights/5 days and we could not recommend it any more! Located a short walk from the Medina, the Riad Saba is perfect spot to see the best of local Marrakech.
Staff were super helpful and welcoming, fresh sheets and towels every morning, breakfast was also great.
Would definitely recommend.

Aziza and Mohamed were the most doting and gracious hosts, my wife and I have ever had the pleasure of residing with. I cannot recommend Riad Saba enough. You are a 2 minute walk from all of the shops in the Medina, with delicious food and noteworthy restaurants around. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We were floored by the level of service, attention to detail and Moroccan hospitality. We will definitely visit again and rest assured, will be staying at Riad Saba.

From the moment we arrived we knew this would be a perfect place to stay. Azziza was the perfect host meeting us with such warmth and happiness and providing local refreshments (mint tea & biscuits) after our Journey.
The room (each is named, 'chocolate' was mine) was just right for a couple. Lovely decorated with A/C (which was needed).
Much Praise for the other staff at the Riad who made are stay that little bit more special, Abdel Jalil, Mohammed, Abdel Malek. ALL he staff were lovely.
Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.
The Riad is approx 10 mins walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and near by to the other attractions making it an idea location. Will be back in the cooler months next year for sure to Riad Saba.

Even though I was a little late arriving, a tasty dinner was provided. From the moment of arrival and throughout my stay, staff were all helpful and kind. The rooms have plenty of Morrocan character. The Riad is well situated and a good base from which to explore the medina and further afield. Many Thanks to Aziza and the whole team for a lovely stay in your country.

The Riad was a wonderful experience I am so glad we did it, however I would have come better prepared for life after dinner or afternoons, when you truly have to be self contained, it’s really just a place to sleep and shower.
The breakfast time is fun to meet other guests and to hear theirs Souk experiences.
The staff was friendly and helpful in so many ways especially with taxis and restaurant recommendations.
The place is huge with many places to hang outside the room and the upstairs terrace is amazing for Sunset and Sunrise pictures and hanging out.
I love that we were able to walk every where and felt so safe the people were kind and friendly and never troubled us even at 1:00 in the morning.
I would recommend this Riad to anyone highly.

This property was both charming and delightful! Your windows open to the courtyard which has a large fountain, trees and flower vines that trail along the balcony.
The staff were all very welcoming and kind to us. My wife and I always looked forward to breakfast on the terrace. Our room was large, the location was central walking distance to everything, we always felt safe and there's really nothing more than we could have asked for. It was really nice to escape the standard hotel or Airbnb experience with a traditional Riad — highly recommended!

Riad Saba is an excellent location for your stay in Marrakesh, has a drop off point very close to the Riad and makes arrival so easy.
When you arrive at the front door of the Riad you are not quite sure what is behind the big wooden door and as you enter you are feel very welcomed into the inside of a beautiful furnished Moorish house which is decorated and furnished beautifully.
You get a very warm welcome from Tougig and very quickly complete arrival procedures whilst enjoying a delicious cup of Moroccan Mint Tea.
The whole ambiance of the Riad is very calming and peaceful and you soon appreciate the calmness as a few hours walking around the busy Medina and Soukes of Marrakesh.
The Riad has 12 rooms all located in a square on the 1sr floor over looking one of the open terraces, rooms are simply furnished but perfectly adequate.
There are beautiful roof terraces where on warm morning breakfast is served and we regularly used early evening before dinner where we shared a gin & tonic with our travelling friends.
The daily home cooked breakfasts were extremely generous and very tasteful and included, Moroccan breads, omelet’s, pancakes, yoghurt, cake served with jams, hone, butter and cheese spread.
It’s been a lovely experience staying in a riad which is close to all the attractions and excitement of the Medina.
We really appreciated the generosity of all the staff including Azusa, Toufig, Jalah, Fatima & Merism.

An extremely wonderful Riad, within the walls of the Medina and about 100m from the markets. Rooms were excellent, there are two very relaxing atriums, a rooftop solarium, plus a library and sitting room. Very comfortable. Our host Aziza was particularly friendly and helpful. I really enjoy talking to her. The afternoon, tea and morning breakfast were great. Highly recommend if you want somewhere comfortable, relaxing, yet very close to the Medina and markets.

This is a very nice riad, with very nice, warm and helpful people. We got help with what to see, how to get there and so on. Great breakfasts on rooftop. Perfectly situated, at entrance to old town. Very nice premises. I can really recommend this riad, we had a fantastic stay over the five days we spent here.

A very nice place to stay in the heart of Medina downtown old city, the location is great, so close to main square and all the happenings I highly recommend it, it’s clean it has a nice rooftop to seat and chill, met the owner he was nice as well, there was a young boy who checked us in, I think Jalal? He was very nice and friendly, they offer local breakfast, location is amazing as I said, there are tourist agencies on the way from hotel towards main square for dessert and hot ballon tours with the fair price, roughly 10mins walk to all the restaurants there, a very live square at night, we got shuttle from hotel so when we arrived at the airport he picked us up was very convenient, for the rest of trip get the taxi your self and bargain with them there is no exact price they may ask for more money from tourist and have Dirham cash for taxi, roughly 50 Dirham for 15-20 mins drive as of Sep 2024 we experienced, on average, try the local food Tajin and mint tea! Love this country!

Absolutely recommend Raid Saba. It is a beautiful hotel that gives a feeling of stepping back in time to a bygone era of service and charm.
The Decor is in a traditional Moroccan style of carved woods, beautiful lanterns and mosaic tiles.
The pool is so refreshing after the heat of the souks and such a relaxing place to unwind.
So peacetul.
Breakfast is served on the roof terrace and is enough to fill even the heartiest of appetites with pancakes, omelette, breads, yogurt, tea, coffee & juice.
Aziza, is a wonderful hostess, she takes time to tell you how to find the main sights of the city. Where to get money changed etc. We were served with bottles of water and mint tea and biscuits while we waited for our room which was very welcome after the travelling.
The hotel is a perfect location as it is so central to the Medina. All the main attractions are only about 15-20 min walk.
But it is also in easy reach of taxis so you don't have to walk far, less than 10 meters!
My only wish would have been a small fridge in the room to keep our water cool.
