Riad Roxanne delivered everything we were looking for — we’d read the reviews, trawled their website and seen the photos. It is a calm oasis hidden in the oldest part of the medina and it feels like a sanctuary. It’s easy to find (Google does work! ) but it’s well sign posted in several different directions too. It’s nice to step away from the sight seeing and find true peace.
Fatimazahra, Ali and Zakaria give 24 hour support — they work tirelessly. They’re friendly, informative and really welcoming — they're they’re the heart of the Riad. Have dinner here one night too — Chef Najat’s food is delicious.
Not sure which room to choose? You won’t be disappointed with any of them, but the Marrakech room is pretty special.

An Absolute Gem in the Heart of Marrakech — Riad Roxanne delivered exactly what we needed: pure, unhurried relaxation. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was ultra-relaxed — the kind of place that makes you exhale the second you walk through the door.
The rooms were spotless and beautifully kept, and the jacuzzi was the perfect touch after a day of exploring the medina — nothing like sinking into warm water and letting the day melt away. The pool area and overall setup were a real highlight too: nature-based, lush, and effortlessly stylish in a way that felt distinctly Moroccan. Every corner of the riad has clearly been designed with care.
Huge credit to the staff, who made the stay truly special. Fatima Zahra, Ali, and Zakaria were available around the clock, endlessly helpful, and always full of great local advice. Their warmth and attentiveness elevated the whole experience.
And a special shout-out to Chef Nojat, whose Moroccan dinner was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavour and clearly made with real passion.
We left Riad Roxanne far more relaxed than when we arrived, without a shadow of a doubt. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine, tranquil Marrakech escape.

I have never ever ever stayed in a place of such beauty and hospitality.
Genuinely I don’t know how to even express in words how flipping amazing this place was. Ever person working here or staying here has such a zest for life and I have made some new friends a connections in a matter of minutes. It’s the beauty of the riad that makes this happen I believe.
Please please stay here. You will not regret. No matter the cost. Such an environment and beauty is priceless.
I have visited many many countries and I can absolutely confirm that nothing compares to my stay at the Riad.
I will be making an annual trip (at a minimum).
Rahman my main man at the front desk was amazing. That’s another benefit, there is always someone at the front desk and as a young woman it made me feel really reassured and safe. Every lovely lady that works at this riad is ALWAYS happy to help and that is no exaggeration or inconvenience.

We stayed at Riad Roxanne for 3 nights and had a really enjoyable experience. The place is very cozy, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our stay.
We had dinner at the riad, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was nice as well, although a bit more variety or quantity would make it even better.
One of the highlights for us was the pool, which was always accessible, even at night. The rooftop was also a lovely place to relax in the evening with some tea.
We also tried the hammam and the tonic massage, which was a very nice experience. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this riad to anyone looking for something special and traditional in Marrakech.

I spent 8 wonderful days at Riad Roxanne, and from the moment I checked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the whole experience even more special.
The room itself was beautiful, comfortable, and had a warm, relaxing atmosphere that made it feel like a true home away from home. Everything was well taken care of, and you could really notice the attention to detail.

I honestly have no words for how amazing my experience was at Riad Roxanne. The riad is absolutely beautiful and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world — peaceful, authentic, and full of charm.
The staff were beyond incredible. Fatima, Najat, Faycal, and Abdou made us feel so welcome and looked after us with so much care. Najat’s traditional Moroccan food was always fresh and delicious, Fatima was so warm and kind, Faycal made sure everything was perfect, and Abdou even escorted us to our excursion pickup point to make sure we didn’t get lost.
I travelled with my kids and they absolutely loved it — the team treated them like family.
The hammam and massage were pure paradise. The location is perfect, very close to the souks and main attractions, and we always felt safe walking around.
Highly recommend — an unforgettable experience in Marrakech.

I truly have no words to describe how incredible my experience was at Riad Roxanne. From the moment we arrived, we felt transported into a completely different atmosphere — peaceful, beautiful, and authentically Moroccan. The riad itself is stunning, but what truly makes this place unforgettable is the people.
The staff are simply speechless — I have never felt so well looked after. They were always making sure we had everything we needed, serving delicious, fresh meals every day, and constantly checking that we were comfortable and happy. I was travelling with my children, and they were absolutely over the moon. The team made them feel so welcome and special.
A huge thank you to Fatima, Najat, Faycal, and Abdou — they were beyond five stars.
Fatima was always so warm and welcoming.
Najat… I have no words for her cooking. She delivered the most amazing traditional Moroccan dishes, always fresh and full of flavour.
Faycal was constantly making sure we were enjoying our time and had everything organised perfectly.
Abdou went above and beyond — even taking his time to escort us personally to our pickup point for an excursion to make sure we didn’t get lost. That level of care is rare and so appreciated.
They also offered me the opportunity to experience a hammam and massage, and I honestly felt like I was in paradise. It was pure relaxation and such a special part of my Marrakech trip.

One of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. Every staff member we met was incredibly warm and friendly — they truly made up for the small imperfections of the property and turned the experience into a full 5-star stay.
We also booked a cooking class, which turned out to be the absolute highlight of our trip. Najat is an amazing chef and teacher. Since it was only the two of us in the class, we could decide what we wanted to cook. She first took us to the souq to buy fresh ingredients and then we went back at the riad to cook. We enjoyed Moroccan salad, a regular salad, a tagine, and fruit for dessert. My girlfriend was crazy about it, and we ended up spending 5 or 6 hours cooking and eating together. Najat even generously taught us how to make fries, cake, and mint tea (that were not included in our original menu) Her warmth and generosity made the experience truly special.

Where do I start.
This is the first time I have travelled to Morocco as a solo traveler and was not expecting this much hospitality from staff. After these past couple of nights I have truly gained new friends, they were all so much more than just staff.
I would like to especially thank Abdu, Fati, and Faycel. I was extremely surprised to the hospitality and friendliness of these people. Day to day they surprised me more than the last by their genuine helpfulness and kindness.
I got personal suggestions of places to see and detailed honest advice about the city. Faycel and Fati were there to help me with every step of the Riad; it was always a pleasure to see them wherever I was and at whatever time I saw them.
Abdu has also surprised me with his kindness and personal help even walking around the streets of Marrakesh and also with beautiful time spent together these past days. I can say I have made incredible friends thanks to this Riad.
Other than the staff, the Riad is always clean, the food is excellent (also to say for the kitchen staff a lovely compliment to the whole service, always a pleasure to see them smile all day long), the room was tidy and clean, everything was incredible.
If I was to come back or recommend a stay in Marrakesh, I would love to recommend Riad Roxanne and to meet the people within it.
Thank you to everyone who made my trip as pleasant as it was, it would not be without these people.

Honestly a very underwhelming experience.
The decor is beautiful, but hotel itself lacks maintenance.
The place was quite dark, smelled unpleasant.
Although the check inn was stated at 3pm we came after 6 pm and at 7pm there was no hot water. For a hotel that promises it in their description is disappointing.
We were told by staff member that it would come back in 1 h.
We went out to eat and came back at 10 pm and than yes the water was hot. But the tank was only big enough to fill halve a bathtub.
I asked about the sauna but reception seemed confused and said we can book the hamman. The room was also very cold.
The staff was overall nice especially the ladies that served us breakfast that being said we had much better experience in other places. Maybe in the summer season it’s nice 😌

To avoid, especially in winter.
Atlas room: humidity stains and smell, lack of maintenance. Far from the pictures. Amost a scan. See pictures. Not enough hot water to take a bath (we just managed to fill 5-10% of the bathtub and that's it). I booked the Atlas Room because of the Bathtub that I couldn't use. I asked for a partial refund (to come back to the price of a room without bathtub). Declined by the host, so AirBnB gave me a refund based on my report and pictures attached. All issues were raised when I arrived and discussed with the host in the AirBnB message. Always polite answers but no solutions. First time I have a bad experience with AirBnB and a Riad in Marrakesh.
Breakfast served in a room with all windows openned and no heater. By 2 degree celsius, everybody was freezing. I have stayed in plenty of riads in the winter. They all have closed room with heating system. After raising this issue from day 1, Riad Roxanne found a solution the fourth day (closing windows, and having a heater).
Location is far away from the main spots.
Nice staff but overpriced and not well maintained.
You can find better riads in Marrakesh.

Great accommodation in a great location.
Walkable to whenever you want to go.
There are 4 people that works at the reception (1 at a time) and most likely you will meet all of them even if you are staying just for one night.
These people know how to do hospitality.
They have answers and solutions for all your questions, and if not, they will do their best to find one for you. They take time in getting to know every guest and they always care about your day. They make you feel special. And they do that with every single guest.
Would give 10 stars for the hospitality.

Riad Roxanne is located in the east of the Medina (the walled old town) so the streets are narrow and quiet. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Along with the riad's location, the traditional design of the riad around a central courtyard an pool, helps keep the outside noise to a minimum as well as keeping the rooms cool. There are plenty of couches and chairs arranged around the courtyard and on the roof terrace, to allow you to find somewhere to chill if that's what you want.
There are also multiple excursions available that can be booked at reception — from hot air balloon trips over the desert, to quad biking, camel rides and evening meal in the desert. You can also book a hammam and massage within the riad itself.
Breakfast is included and is traditional Moroccan, with omelet, yogurt and breads. You can book evening meals, and I recommend the tagine — a traditional Moroccan meal of steamed seasonal vegtables, meat, and couscous — and the portions are very generous.
The staff are young and eager to please, and very helpful when booking excursions or taxi's from and to the airport. And most are multilingual, with Arabic, French and English.
Be advised, due to the narrowness of the streets, vehicular access for taxi's isn't possible to the door of the riad. So one of the staff will come and meet you at the drop off and help you with your baggage. Therefore, if you have mobility issues, notify the staff beforehand.

Our stay at Riad Roxanne was truly unforgettable, and the biggest credit goes to Abdul, who was with us for three consecutive days and treated us with warmth, sincerity, and genuine care.
From the moment we arrived, Abderrahman made us feel completely at home. He welcomed us with delicious Moroccan tea and gave us a full tour of the riad, explaining everything we needed to know — including helpful advice on what to do in Marrakech and how to avoid trouble. His guidance made us feel safe and confident throughout our trip.
We checked in late, and even though we went out for dinner after midnight, Abderrahman still checked on us around 2:00 AM to make sure we were okay. He even stood outside the riad waiting to receive us when we returned. This level of care is something we’ve never experienced before.
In fact, we ended up extending our stay by another day purely because of his exceptional hospitality. Abdul treated us less like guests and more like family — almost like a brother and sister. When I requested a late breakfast, he personally ensured we were served a fresh one without hesitation.
One evening, when I was feeling a bit upset while sitting alone, Abderrahman noticed immediately. He offered me Moroccan tea and even called his female colleague, Jannat, to comfort me. He kept checking if I was okay and reassured me that he was there to help with anything.
Later that night, I wanted to visit a local shop, and once again, Abderrahman accompanied us for our safety.

A wonderful first experience staying at a Riad. Meant to feel like family from the minute we stepped through the door! A very attentive and welcoming team with friendly personalities and always smiling :)
We stayed in the room called Fez, which was spacious and comfortable. The decor and tile work was beautiful, with its own unique style. Plus a cute seating area outside the room over looking the pool and arrangements of plants.
The biggest thank you to the team, Othmane for the warmest welcome and tour of the Riad and tea on arrival. The two lovely ladies at reception/breakfast, always welcoming us back with a big smile and finally Abderahman, his customer service and hospitality is fantastic! We will recommend Riad Roxanna to all our friends who come to Marrakesh! Thank you so much for the best welcome to Riad Roxanne and Marrakesh!

Riad Roxanne in Marrakech is such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, with lovely rooms and a super relaxing vibe. Abdul made our stay even better with his warm, attentive hospitality and genuine care. We loved it so much we wanted to extend our stay, but it was fully booked, so make sure to book in advance, it’s totally worth it, and honestly, if you have any issues, Better call Abdul 😉.

So pleased by the generosity and hospitality of all the staff here. Special mention to Abderrahman who went above and beyond and provided us all the assistance, tips and late night pick ups! The riad has all required facilities with good breakfast as well. They were super accommodating and even packed us breakfast before we leave for our early morning trip! Thank you :)
