Riad Omar

Location was great but unfortunately the Riad was poor in terms of rooms and service. The rooms were cramped with shower heads not working, rooms not being cleaned properly, bins not emptied. Breakfast could have been better, there was limited food items and restriction on what we could have which is not really a buffet. Bottles of water, orange juice, mesemen pancakes were hidden behind serving table and always had to be asked for. Would not stay again.

We stayed 2 nights at the riad. The room we got first smelled very mouldy, the bathroom was damp, and only 1 small window. Luckily they had another room free. The room itself was a bit smaller (almost no room between bed and wall to get to the other side), but the bathroom way bigger, and with its own window. The second evening though we had a cockroach in the bathroom. Any positives? Yes, the breakfast is very good, also the breakfast room itself, on the top of the roof. Staff is friendly, and the location is also very good. And clean towels every day.

We got a room which was filled with mold. The toilet was covered with shit of the previous guests. The sheets were not clean. We were told that there was not another room available. Eventually our touring company was able to get another room. Unfortunately the lock on the room was broken so we could not lock the door from the inside. The lady at the breakfast was really nice! In total, would not recommend this place to anybody.

Excellent location in the crowded main street leading to the center plaza of the old town and to the bazar. I stayed at Riad Omar twice at the start and ending of a Morocco travel. Rooms were quite different, the first with an improvised and a bit awkward shower/resting room, the second in a bigger room with an excellent bathroom. Good beds and mattresses. Both rooms with AC and channel TV. Grat breakfast at the terrasse, with a beautiful view over the city. Great price/quality ratio. The entry and elevator allow access to welchairs.

Budget hotel smack in the middle of the medina, so everywhere is walking distance. Clean comfortable rooms, lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast. While the hotel is on a really busy street, it wasnt noisy at all. The staff are helpful and friendly and fixed my shower promtly.

Great hotel according to the price. The room was clean and had the basics. The service was very polite and helpful. The best was the breakfast and the chef was very kind.

I spent one night here. The room was shockingly small and quite loud. Unfortunately, I also had a cockroach in the bathroom. The location of the riad is definitely central to get to everywhere, but for me it was far too crowded and stressful. If you want to see the beautiful side of Marrakech, you should choose a riad in a better category.

My experience at this hotel was terrible. The room looked old with worn out furniture. The water in the shower did not heat up. The Wi-Fi didn't work. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.

Our guide to Mt Toubkal booked this place and it was a brilliant experience. No hassle at the check in, nice rooms and well equiped bathroom. Breakfast is delicious with many options to chose from. The male receptionist is super kind and friendly, also helped with restaurants choices for dinner. When we were travelling back, we stopped by and asked to drop off our bags before we go to the airport, and without questions they allowed to use the main area to chill before taking a taxi to the airport. Great location as well. Highly reccomend.
