If I could give this place 1, 000 stars, I absolutely would.
From the moment we walked into Nyla, we felt it—the entire property is effortlessly calming and serene. Every detail, from the common spaces to the bedrooms, strikes that perfect balance between a tranquil, zen atmosphere and a rich Moroccan aesthetic. It was such a refreshing escape from the busy, bustling, and colorful souks outside.
But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. A special shoutout to Jamal—out of all the incredible people we met on our trip, he was hands down our favorite. He went above and beyond to help us get our bearings, always offering thoughtful recommendations and genuine kindness. Every time we saw him, we ended up in great conversation, and his warmth and hospitality genuinely made our trip.
Nyla isn’t just a beautiful place to stay—it’s an experience, made even more special by the people who bring it to life. We can’t wait to come back.
Absolutely loved our stay at Nyla! Everything is so thoughtfully and beautifully executed at this riad. We indulged in the Hammam service and enjoyed the use of their pool & spa amenities. Both lobbies provided tranquil escapes from the outside world, and the beds were extremely comfortable! Perfect for any traveller. The breakfast was delicious too. The best part, hands down, was the staff — everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming and made the riad feel like home. Everything was perfect, thank you so much!

Review of Riad Nyla.
Riad Nyla is a great base in the Medina if you value location, service, and a relaxed riad atmosphere, but there are a few things worth knowing before you book.
Location & arrival.
The riad is very well located, about a five-minute walk from Café Arabe if you fancy an alcoholic drink. However, it’s around a ten-minute walk from the nearest taxi drop-off point, and the route through the Medina is not straightforward. Make sure you inform reception of your arrival time so they can send someone to guide you. Avoid accepting help from people in the streets offering directions, they will expect a tip and can be quite persistent.
Rooms.
Rooms are clean, well equipped, and in keeping with the riad style. The only downside is that the walls are quite thin, so you may hear noise from neighbouring rooms.
Service & breakfast.
Service was very good throughout our stay. The team were accommodating and attentive, especially at breakfast. The menu changed daily, which was a nice touch and kept things interesting.
Food.
Breakfast was a highlight, but dinner was disappointing, particularly for vegetarians. The options were limited and not very inspiring, so we chose to eat out most evenings. Dar Moha Restaurant and Azulik are both nearby and are highly recommended.
Spa & facilities.
The spa is a real positive, the massage and sauna were excellent. However, the pool in the spa area was quite dirty and not heated when we visited, which was a let-down.
Rooftop terrace.
