Staying at Maipa Riad Marrakesh it’s much more than a trip — it was an experience that touched our hearts. From the first moment we stepped inside, Lilya and Emmanuel welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly felt safe, cared for, and completely at home. They are not just hosts; they are beautiful souls who pour love into every detail of this riad.
There is a peaceful energy in the house that is hard to describe. After the vibrant chaos of the Medina, returning to the riad felt like returning to a sanctuary. Every corner is filled with beauty and calm, but what makes it truly special is the human warmth. Lilya and Emmanuel have created a place where guests are treated like family, not visitors.
The entire team deserves the highest praise. Every member of staff greeted us with kindness, smiles, and sincere generosity. Their attentiveness was never formal or forced — it felt natural and heartfelt. Whether serving breakfast, helping with plans, or simply sharing a laugh, they made each day brighter. You can feel the pride and care they put into their work.

Our stay at Maipa Riad Marrakesh was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, Lilya and Emmanuel welcomed us like family, and their warmth set the tone for an unforgettable experience. From the very first step into it and meeting the Host Emanuel we absolutely loved the place.
Emanuel, his wife and the staff were so friendly, welcoming and very helpful and informative.

Location is superb as only a very short walk to the man square.
We loved Marrakech, and can honestly say that if (more likely when) we go back would be staying here again.

Lovely room designed with the moroccan ambience. Hence the lighting could feel a bit dim if one occasionally needs a bit more light. The windows are facing inwards overlooking the patio. It being a typical Riadh, it is completely surrounded by other buildings. But you get the overview of the surroundings from the rooftop terrace where we had lunch (need to give bit of notice) on the day of our arrival.
Very personalised service from the host Liliya. It is to the point that we have to specify the time for breakfast so that the table is laid out ready for us. Same if in the unlikely event you plan to have a quiet dinner in. There is plenty of choice for meals nearby. Nothing is too much trouble for the Riadh.
It is a small quiet Riadh, central to all the souks and sites. It also means that the streets are not accessible by taxi and so the Riadh has to arrange to meet you at the taxi drop off point some 10 minutes walking distance and this escort will cart your suitcases to the Riadh. Be sure to take the Riadh organised taxi for arrival and departure so that there is a smooth handover between the taxi driver and escort who carts your luggage. All part of the Marrakech experience.

We have just returned from a 4 day trip to Marrakesh staying at Riad Maipa.
We had the most amazing time.
Lilliana & her husband Emmanuel were incredible.
From the moment we were collected from the airport we were so well taken care of. Lilliana & Emmanuel go above & beyond.
We stayed in the most beautiful room, the toiletries were such amazing quality & we were gifted with some traditional Moroccan slippers.
The various teas & coffee in the room were delicious.
The decor was spectacular, the lamps, cushions & sofas were so beautiful.
The room was cleaned daily & was absolutely spotless, fresh flowers & fresh fruit made us feel so welcome & spoiled.
The staff at Riad Maipa are so wonderful.
Unis looked after us everyday, bringing us snacks & refreshments to the sun terrace & sharing some beautiful stories of his family & homeland & always had a beautiful smile.
Brahim looked after us at breakfast time, attending to our every need.
Brahim was very interesting explaining so much of the Berbar culture to us.
The breakfast at Maipa is more of a banquet, it is incredible, I felt like a Queen.
Delicious fresh juices, my favourite was the cucumber, lemon & apple, yoghurt & fruits, fresh homemade breads & pastries, cheeses, hams & honey & every morning a delicious cooked plate, omelette, rosti, flags beas & eggs.
I am a vegan & I can honestly say I have never been taken care of so well & been given such a variety of delicious plant based options.

We recently stayed in the Riad Maipa in Marrekesh, it is a tranquil oasis in the centre of bustling Marrekesh, ideally situated to visit all the sights. It is owned and run by Emanuele and Liliya who are the most, accommodating, gracious, professional hosts, they make your stay personal and extreamily spacial. We can not recommend them, the Riad, the situation highly enough. Their attention to detail from the decoration, furniture, fixtures of the Riad to the amazing breakfast is perfect. We will definatly go back.

Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and very knowledgable about the local area with some great recommendations.
The riad was very clean and beautifully decorated.
Large traditional breakfast well presented every morning, you won't leave hungry.
Evening meal service available with 48 hours notice to source fresh produce & marinate was also very good.
Good location a 5 minute walk from the main square when it's quiet, however may take 10-15 minutes during busy times as the street outside can be very slow moving. Once in the riad however it is very peaceful and hard to imagine it's so busy outside.

This is like an oasis of calm in the middle of the Medina. The host and hostess couldn't have been more helpful. The building is traditional architecture and so cool throughout the day. Breakfast was particularly good.

Emanuele and Liliya, the owners of the Maipa Boutique Riad were delightful. They couldn’t do enough for you and were always there to give a welcoming smile whether arriving or departing. The Riad is beautiful with everything you could need and much more. From delicious chocolates and fruits on arrival to local yellow slippers to keep (as a gift! ) We had dinner the first night which was traditional Moroccan fare. Fantastic! The Riad in in the middle of the hustle and bustle which is the madena, however very quiet and restful as it’s down a lane. Emanuele arranged a transfer from the airport and someone to carry our cases and showed us to the Riad. Excellent service all round. All in all a lovely three days spent in the Maipa Boutique Riad.

Emanuele and Yassine made our stay one to remember. This Riad is absolutely stunning and perfectly combines luxury with old tradition. Instantly you can see how much work, love and detail they put into making the place the Riad it is now. My wife and I came there to celebrate our anniversary and Emanuele made sure we leave Marrakech in awe with all the wonders of Morroco. The room was superb, the beds extremely comfy, the served breakfast was outstanding.
The two dinners we had there (we booked twice because the first one was already amazing) were delicious and delightful.
We felt so welcome at all times and taken care of. On our anniversary day we even got a special treat — just popping up in our room.
Emanuele recommended so many good things. On a very short notice he organised a second desert trip that blew our minds. Every time we got back to the beautiful Riad we felt immediately at home — thanks to Emanuele and Yassine. We were chatting a lot and had a blast.
I definitely recommend this hotel and we're happy to come back anytime.

We stayed at Riad Maipa for four nights and had a wonderful time. It is charming, well located, and very relaxing.
The riad itself if beautiful: comfortable and colourful: both in the private and common spaces. The riad is relatively new, having been recently restored and it is indeed very obvious that it was a labour of love.
Location wise it was very well located — close walk (4 min) to the main square and walkable (10-30 min) to other parts of the city (Mellah, Hivernage, Guerlitz, Kasbah) and is just off of a main path in the medina which means it was always busy. This was great because even at night there were people around so walking around felt very safe.
The entire team there was absolutely delightful: warm, accommodating, and very professional. Yassim in particular was a joy!
We stayed in the Bourganviller suite which is on the 2nd floor (the only room on this floor) and it was beautifully designed but more importantly, vVERY QUIET and cozy. I slept so well there and woke up every morning feeling well rested. The call to prayer is audible but that's pretty much anywhere and it wasn't that loud (didn't wake me up) as they have done a great job at soundproofing.
Breakfast was excellent: plentiful, lots of variety including cheeses, fruit, fresh fruit juice and coffee, fresh baked goods, and a special daily egg dish. A great way to start each morning.
We'd stay again (and hope to) and would recommend.

A young and a bit formal Italian couple owns and runs this small charming and colorful place, with enormous care and a sense of service and quality that is unmatchable.
Breakfasts are prepared in minute detail and with some special surprise, every day.
There is a quietness that gives you a feeling of shelter from the busy life of the Medina.
And you’ll be received with a warm welcome every time you arrive to it.
The rooftop is a relaxing and protected open air option, with a small basin where you can bath.
The sounds of prayers arrive occasionally from not far and reminds you of where you are.

Our stay from beginning to end was an amazing stay. The riad is immaculate and has been completely renovated down to the precise details. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful-the bed comfortable. The morning breakfast is a true experience.
I would highly recommend that you allow the staff to arrange transportation for your arrival and departure. We arranged our own arrival and it was a nightmare-our departure was arranged by Emanuele and went smoothly.

Our stay at Maipa Riad was nothing short of perfection. From our arrival quite late (about 10pm) we were greeted by the friendly night porter, Yaseem, and treated to some fresh tea and some sweet treats to welcome us in.
The suite is beautiful, has good aircon and lovely his and hers bathroom (sinks and showers! ).
In the morning we got to meet the owner, Emanuele. He is a lovely host, and the spread he puts on for breakfast is exemplary. He even took notice of bits we said we enjoyed and there would be more of those included the next day!
The roof is serene with a nice jacuzzi and provides a quiet escape from the bustle of the Medina streets.
If you’re looking for a Riad to make you feel comfortable, well fed and relaxed then this is the best choice you could make.

We stayed in Riad Maipa and can honestly say this was exquisite. Everything about the Riad is well considered from the furnishings, sustainability and of course the magnificent breakfast Emanuele is beyond a doubt the best host with meticulous attention to detail. Beyond a doubt the best place we’ve stayed.

What a find! Spent four fabulous nights in a lovely suite at Maipa. The accommodation has been painstakingly restored and our suite enjoyed an open aspect on to a lovely sunny terrace. High quality touches throughout such as excellent tea/coffee and luxury toiletries.
Great outdoor space to relax after exploring this great city, either in the shade or on two levels of sun terrace.
Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. All ingredients were of high quality too.
We enjoyed a fantastic set dinner on our first night which served as a great introduction to Moroccan cuisine.
Service from all staff was on point but special mention to Emanuele who couldn’t have been more helpful. His experience in hospitality shines through and you can see the standards he sets reflected in all of his lovely staff members.
