I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riad Hermes in Marrakech! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality.
The riad is simply beautiful — elegant, authentic, and full of Moroccan charm. Every detail, from the décor to the peaceful courtyard, creates a magical and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making our stay even more special.
The location is excellent, perfect for exploring Marrakech while still offering a quiet and peaceful retreat away from the busy streets. After a day in the medina, coming back to the riad felt like coming home.
A special mention goes to the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared every morning. Everything was perfect!
I highly recommend Riad Hermes to anyone visiting Marrakech. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I would definitely love to come back.
The interior decoration is beautiful and detailed, and it really lets you enjoy the atmosphere of Marrakech.
One small downside is the breakfast. There were no egg dishes, so the selection felt a little limited.
The location is also something to be aware of. Because the riad is inside the medina where taxis cannot enter, you need to walk about 4–5 minutes on cobblestone streets. Even when I showed Google Maps, the taxi driver could not find the exact entrance and dropped me at a gate that was a bit far away.
Some men with handcarts approached me and carried my suitcase on a cart. It was helpful, but they asked for 200 DH. Later the riad owner told me the usual price is around 100 DH. Since they were not connected with the riad, he couldn’t negotiate for me.
If you are traveling with light luggage, this probably won’t be a problem. At night you pass through a dark alley before reaching a busier street, which might feel a little intimidating for a solo female traveler.
When I left, the riad kindly arranged a cart to take my luggage to the main road and a taxi to the airport. The total cost was 220 DH, which was very convenient.
Overall, the riad has a lovely Marrakech atmosphere and helpful staff.

Our stay at Riad Hermes was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported into a tranquil oasis, far away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The riad itself is stunning, beautifully decorated with authentic Moroccan touches and incredibly well-maintained.
The staff truly made our trip special. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Whether it was arranging excursions, giving us great local tips, or welcoming us back with delicious mint tea, their hospitality was simply unmatched.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had a wonderful traditional design. We also absolutely loved the gorgeous rooftop terrace—it was the perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring, and the daily breakfast served there was fresh, plentiful, and delicious.
